I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the islamic states of America….. 

Ah, the wonderful world of progressive ideological policy – Consider Afghanistan.  Only under the progressive President Obama could one find such new definitions of United States foreign policy.
Today President Obama’s Secretary of State Hillary Clinton highlighted the anti-American hatred shared by this administration.  In Afghanistan Secretary Clinton made the proclamation that Afghanistan is now considered a “major non-Nato ally” of the US.
Really?    Wow.   It was only a few short weeks ago when Afghanistan’s President Hamid Karzai called our American troops in his country “demons”, and proclaimed  U.S. troops will “never be forgiven.”

The New York Times reported.  Karzai said:

“Let’s pray for God to rescue us from these two demons. There are two demons in our country now.”

In his speech Karzai was referring the United States and the Taliban.   Yet the progressive approach is to cower to and reward such descriptives with proclamations of Afghanistan being a Major Ally.     Really?
The same nation that forbids women from school or education.   And the same nation who only just a week ago (ironically video information released today) publicly shot a young woman in the town of Kabul for the crime of rumored adultery.
(Reuters) In the three-minute video, a turban-clad man approaches a woman kneeling in the dirt and shoots her five times at close range with an automatic rifle, to cheers of jubilation from the 150 or so men watching in a village in Parwan province.

“Allah warns us not to get close to adultery because it’s the wrong way,” another man says as the shooter gets closer to the woman. “It is the order of Allah that she be executed”.

Did you ever wonder exactly whose side President Obama is on?   The United States used to stand for Freedom, Hope and Democracy.   Remember the beacon of hope from atop Lady Liberty?
Apparently we can turn out the lights on that beacon, and save a few bucks until possibly re-lighting it again on November 6th 2012.
