They still do not get it. It’s not a matter of where he was born. I don’t care if he was born in Hawaii. There exists a document that Obama has taken action to prevent Americans from seeing. And I’ve been told by numerous people on the left, and many on the right, “Oh, he’s doing that to f*ck with you.”
Really? My president is f*cking with me? Then this case is NOT closed. Period.
A new CNN investigation reveals what most analysts have been saying since the “birther” controversy erupted during the 2008 presidential campaign: Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961. Period.
The U.S. Constitution says only “natural born” citizens can become president — a vague clause that some members of the birther movement contend disqualifies Obama because, they insist, he was born outside the United States.
Well, no. That is not what many are saying. Many say that Obama is disqualified constitutionally because his father was not a citizen. I’m not positive about this as a disqualifying factor, but it seems to be glossed over in every fellow traveler news account.
Dr. Chiyome Fukino, a former director of the Hawaii Department of Health and a Republican, told CNN in her most extensive comments to date that she has “no doubt” Obama was born in the state.
Obama’s 2008 campaign produced a certification of live birth, a document legally accepted as confirmation of a birth and routinely used for official purposes. Fukino went one step further, taking advantage of a state law that allows certain public officials to examine a person’s actual birth certificate if there is a “direct and tangible interest.”
The president’s certificate, she said, is stored in a vault in the building that houses the Department of Health. Ironically, unlike the certificate of live birth, it is no longer accepted for official usage.
So, what I glean from this is that the document does exist and the Governor of Hawaii is a bald-faced liar. He said the document was either missing or didn’t exist when he went to release it.
Obama could file a Freedom of Information Act request to view his original birth certificate and make copies. But at this point, the White House maintains, nothing will satisfy the doubters.
This is absolute bullshit. This amounts to saying, “we showed a flimsy document online and it raised suspicion, so we won’t show what they say will satiate them because NOTHING SATISFIES THESE PEOPLE.”
They act as if they’ve been showing document after document but yet “nothing satisfies.”
Don’t act as if this is like the idiotic moon hoaxer whose plethora of claims are proven false over and over and over again, yet they still persist. “Birthers” are still at stage one. They’ve been asking for the long form certificate from day one and Obama has paid millions to keep it hidden. Why the faux exasperation?
“I find it a bit amusing in the sense that (the issue) keeps resurfacing over and over again,” Fukino said. “It really tells us that the whole conspiracy notion is out there (and) that if there is an issue that needs a following, they will find one.
“No matter what you do or say, it make no difference,” she said.
The issue keeps resurfacing because Obama, nor CNN, hasn’t done the single most thing that could put an end to this – release the damn long form. What is on it isn’t even the issue anymore. It’s that a president who boasted that his administration would be the most transparent IN HISTORY is the most opaque.
That is the issue.
