A little nervous but she’ll becfine
I remember Karoline was pretty nervous her first time at the podium too. Who wouldn’t be?!?
Karoline was a phenomena and was always going to be an extremely hard person to follow.
There’s only one “First Day”.
Ughhh… she looks fantastic, but she isn’t yet a good fluid narrator – fairly rough. I surely hope she becomes smoother and able to really think on her feet with these attack dog criminal leftists coming at her for the foreseeable future.

I wish her well and I am sure she is nervous, but I have to admit that I am concerned that she doesn’t seem to be able to say anything without looking down and consulting her notes…she needs to figure out how to look directly at the audience and respond confidently to their questions, only relying on her notes when needing to verify a specific fact or to make sure that she is quoting a number accurately.
Sorry to be critical, but she did not make a good first impression. I hope that she gets some coaching ASAP to learn how to “own” the room, rather than the opposite, which is what happened today…
helen keller could do this job. us getting excited at an insignificant zinger from the podium to these clowns that could care less is not worth it

Definitely agree – would be great to see an energetic, sassy young guy in the ‘mold’ of Stephen Miller.
The fellow at CNN – the lone conservative (rational) seemed to have been a good choice.
My career was in the public forum/arena and I know the characteristics of a good speaker. This was a wooden, insecure performance. She seemed very uncomfortable and got out of there asap. I think releasing Stephen Miller for the interim before the mid terms would have made more sense.
Both of my kids did competitive speech and debate in high school and it taught them so much! Being able to “read” a script is very different from being able to give a good speech!
I agree that someone like a Stephen Miller would have been a much better choice! Hoping this was just “first day” nerves, but she’s going to need to step up and do some major work in a short period of time, in my opinion. Frankly, if DJT really, really wanted a blonde, he would have been much better off picking Natalie Winters of War Room fame…
Reading her statements comes across as the difference between knowing what’s going on, and reciting prepared material.
I hope that it’s temporary due to nerves.
I agree – I believe her history is as a news “reporter” which, these days, often consists of looking straight into the camera and either reading words on a teleprompter or repeating questions that are being fed into your earpiece. The fact that she could not answer a single question without having to look down and read her notes indicates that she does not have any actual background in impromptu public speaking, which, IMHO, is a lost art, but nevertheless an important skill!

Hopefully she will get acclimated/comfortable in her new post quickly…Still better than the “circle back” peppermint paddy commie or mop head lesbo in the OBiden administration any day! God Bless her…

After Karoline, the smartest and best in the business, they really need a “Stephen Miller” type at that podium. I do like the fact that she calls on the reporters, excluding CNN, et al. Anyone would be nervous on their first day, but you got to learn to hide it and take control. Good luck to her.
