Earlier today President Trump hosted 16-year-old hero lifeguard Ryder Williams at the White House. Honoring both young Mr Williams and the 10-year-old young man he saved, Nathaniel Rai.
“What you did was incredible and everybody saw it,” Trump said during the meeting as he chatted with Williams and other lifeguards from the teen’s post. Trump added that Williams is someone young Americans can look up to for how he handled the rescue.
Williams saved 10-year-old Nathaniel Rai from the pounding surf in a dramatic rescue that was captured on video, showing Williams’ heroic effort as he kept the young boy above water. The video went viral shortly after the rescue and caught the attention of Eric Trump and eventually the president himself. WATCH:

What 16-year-old
hero lifeguard
Ryder William
did
was truly (truly) remarkable ❣️❣️❣️
-God, continue to bless him throughout his life.
Great young man and a hat tip to the parents.
This is OUR PRESIDENT TRUMP at his very BEST! Uplifting a young man…not blustering to his own outsized ego.
yes!!
He is everything good and he loves us/America.
He has been “lifting up” his whole life it appears to me.
Another blind person as to Trump. Trump is a self business promoter who knows he has to say certain outrageous things to stay in business and earn a living. His own personality is humble and self deprecating… which is why you are surprised.
What’s outrageous about honoring a lifeguard who saved the life of a 10 year old boy?
Had to read your response to Bobby several times. Good catch Mimi.
I so love and respect President Trump.
Santa Cruz does have some really gnarly surf conditions at various times during the year. Couple that with 58 degree water and you begin to realize how truly amazing it is that those lifeguards perform daily in those conditions.
This was very fitting Ryder be recognized by POTUS, and Ryder stands as a wonderful example for youth working their Summers in the USA!
Santa Cruz is also about as liberal as any city gets.
I used to live just down the road when I was a kid and spent a lot of time at the beach there.
Best roller coaster ever.
Hell yea the best coaster ride ever! Lived in Ben Lomond.
What a fantastic young man! He looks so healthy and full of life. GOD bless him.
CS Lewis wrote of “men without chests”…
The whole of the legislative branch is infected with such people.
This full chested young man at 16…confident, humble, and imbued with a love of others…could teach a thing or two…and much more.
His parents have reared and prepared him well.
Inspirational.
<CS Lewis wrote of “men without chests”…>
Ellen DeGeneres wrote about ‘women without chests’ 🙂
Always good to read you having a good time
Oh you………….. 😉
Or brains.
President Trump does not just say the words… he means it from his heart. He is a really good man!!
This young lifeguard has a path cut out for him now. Hope he uses it wisely.
I’m going to assume since he’s white, this won’t be covered in the media at all.
Trump honors someone who risked his life to save a young boy while many liberals fight to kill babies and sell their parts.
Do you see a difference? Vote accordingly in November.
For a minute there, I thought I was in the waiting room at Fort Knox with all that gold shining and blinding my eyes! Fetish time perhaps. I want to see America in those rooms, the gold embellishments (for me) greatly distract what I should be focusing upon. I want to be focused on those people there and why they are there.
That lifeguard teenager and the young boy whose life he saved are the focus as the President honors them and their families.
taste is personal.
one either has taste or one does not.
it is always tasteful to acknowledge that while tastes may differ,
certain things are considered timeless in their tastefulness.
taste may be considered educated or visceral, but neither kind of taste is necessarily superior.
that which is not to your particular taste may be of someone else’s taste, perhaps exclusively.
therefore, it is always considered in good taste not to comment on matters of taste,
lest it be considered in poor taste.
😆 😂 😆 😂 😎
(p.s.: at first i thought you were talking about all the blonde hair!😆)
gold inspires wealth and power. President Trump knows it and why he wanted the people’s house to be like that. He inspires respect, wealth, power and protection. We should all be proud of our renovated White House!
Yes, far better when it was drab and unremarkable and looked like Any Room USA. Made it easier to focus on all the subversives traipsing in an out plotting the destruction of the country. That historic room has been restored and those kids will never forget their time in the shimmering, sparkling epicenter of a proud and rebounding country.

Biden’s version of the Carter fireside chat from back in the day. It’s a wonder he didn’t have someone throwing the paintings in the fireplace to keep it going while scolding American’s for using fossil fuels.
maybe Melania likes gold.
Wonderful!
“Earlier today President Trump hosted 16-year-old hero lifeguard Ryder Williams at the White House. ”
A refreshing change from the usual occupants of the White House. I do not recall bho or jrb conducting anything similar to this. They only seem to invite guests and events that promulgated their political bent.
I wonder what kind of coverage it will get, if any, from the MSM presstitutes. If it is little or none, that will be just par for the course.
All I remember seeing Biden host in the WH was freaks from a circus side show. And he seemed to be proud to do it.
Yes. I hope any who complain about our astonishing President pause and think about that time.
We suffered, watching the invasion and the gaslighting for four long years.
Thank God for saving our President’s life.
✝️🇺🇸🦅❤️
Treepers, I lived right down the road from that beach and grew up near Santa Cruz. The beauty of that rescue is watching not only this young man but also those other gentlemen that came out to assist. All of different races. That’s the CA I knew and loved, while Democrats always attempt to divide us the reality is that we always got along just fine in the melting pot we called CA we didn’t and don’t care about race, we just care about being sincere and generally kind individuals. May God bless this young man and those that sought to assist.
I must report. From Arizona, we’re spending the month in Garden Grove in Orange County. I’ve been blown away to see the numbers of American flags flying. Far surpassing anything I’ve seen in Arizona. Other day I passed Charlie Kirk Dr….
Which hobbs vetoed in Arizona, Charlie’s own state.
There was a time when all state beaches/Parks with lakes had lifeguards.
They also had prisoners on work details cleaning parks and they gladly did it.
Then came the greed from state leaders that raised the park entrance stickers while taking out all lifeguards and closing concession stands at state parks that generated enough money to make parks profitable.
Now no lifeguards to actually save lives and parks are maintained by Union municipalities.
Again…heading down to Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, and Dana Point. As a disabled vet, I can park anywhere I want….no charge. To be honest, never expected it from kalifornia….
Did covid do that …. or let them do that?
Social Security office this month after a personal visit said ok now you have to make a telephone appointment… we can do it in September.
They said it started during covid and has not stopped. Government hangover.
Meanwhile, Jimmy Carter told us to not exceed 55mph (if and when we could find gasoline), turn the thermostats down, put a sweater on and embrace managed decline, because he had no idea how to make things better. Virtually everything he touched turned to $hit.
What a contrast, eh?
Yes, and each state was forced to “enforce” the 55 mph, including places like Montana where a driver may not meet another vehicle for 75-80 miles as he found his way along his 250 mile trip (or 60 mile trip). Being a Montanan, one of my visits to my mother and other relatives was during that Carter nonsense.
Now Montana had no choice about enforcing it, but they had a choice as to how they would enforce it. So – as usual, I was speeding. About halfway between my starting point and my destination on State Hwy 16 – wide open prairie all around – I have the pretty flashing lights in the rearview mirror.
I pull over immediately. Nice officer comes up alongside and says, “You were speeding.” Yes, sir. I know. (I was doing about 70).
We chat a bit, he writes the ticket, hands it to me and says, “That’ll be $5.” Wha…..? I’m supposed to hand you $5 CASH?
He explained that their procedure under Carter’s requirements was along the lines of “Well, yes, sir, Mr. President. We will certainly enforce your stupid speeding law in the middle of Big Sky Montana. But we’ll do it our way: no matter HOW fast anyone is going, every ticket is going to be $5. Cash. No mailings. No court appearances. They hand us $5 and we send them on their way.”
I routinely got speeding tickets (until the fines got so high I couldn’t afford them) – and I still say that is my very favorite one.
“I can’t drive … 55!”
Oh I happen to manage it sometimes in a 45mph zone!
God bless Ryder Williams, and Nathaniel…and all who helped Ryder save Nathaniel’s life.
Proud proud parents! And we are proud of you too Ryder! God Bless You!
