Love. My. President.
I wish I was there!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Me too! I love the Black Hills.
Mt Rushmore is an awesome place to be on the 4th of July.
I would not expect anything less than the best. I wonder if there will be any surprises?
Looks like some rain showers in the area but should be gone by the time the President speaks, hopefully.
Heavy rain and hail supposedly. Let’s lift up a prayer Father GOD blows it through.
He is, doncha know, gonna get his face up there
Thank you Sundance, looking forward to it!

My husband and I were at Mt. Rushmore on July 4th, 2020 when President Trump was there the first time. Well, we weren’t on Mt. Rushmore, since we did not win lottery tickets to be up there that day, but we were blessed to get what was said to be ‘the last room in Keystone’ when we booked a room months earlier.
Even though we weren’t on the hill with President Trump, it was super cool to watch the helicopters — including Marine Corp One — do low fly-overs for all the people below.
Last year on July 5th we booked a great room in Keystone at a hotel requiring a minimum stay of two nights. We booked the room for July 3rd and 4th and waited to hear if President Trump would be there for our nation’s 250th birthday.
Along the way we totally missed hearing about and applying for lottery tickets, so we obviously were not going to be on Mt. Rushmore with the President. Last month we cancelled our room reservation, and hope someone was thrilled to find a room “still” available.
Just looked at the weather in South Dakota and see there is a severe thunderstorm warning south of Mt. Rushmore. It was the same way in 2020 — thunderstorm warnings during the evening.
But we all watched the fireworks, some up on Mt. Rushmore with President Trump, most down below looking up, without a drop of rain falling.
Crazy thing was that the minute the fireworks stopped and Marine Force One took off, God started the real fireworks of lightning and thunder, with rain added. It was a most splendid time, one that I hope happens again this year for every red blooded American to enjoy.
Joyous 4th of July, fellow patriots!
