Bombing Iran to smithereens will not solve anything. It’s also an immoral war of aggression and if President Trump “lets” Israel finish off Hezbollah what will likely happen to the Lebanese Christians and their churches that Hezbollah protects from ISIS and Israel and has the support of the Christians there? Shall we support killing the Christians and destroy their churches to achieve the states desired ends?
During the French Mandate Lebanon was 60% Christian and today it’s about 40% Christian. Going back 50 years Lebanon was a strong ally of Israel protecting it’s Northern border until the Palestinians infiltrated and many of the Christians fled to France and the United States.

Lebanon had a decades long civil war between the Christian Lebanese Army and the Muslims. It was incredibly violent and thousands of Christians fled to France and the United States. Lebanon has no control over Hezbollah.
Bombing the Iran régime to smithereens sounds good on the surface, but I fear many innocent Iranians would also be killed and that would not be a good thing. You can’t win wars only from the air, at some point there has to be boots on the ground. I fully support us having those boots on Iranian soil because the madmen who are in current control are dangerous beyond words and not even a little sane. So, get rid of them yes, but spare the innocents as best we can. That’s how I see it.

Perhaps there are things going on behind the scenes we are not aware of, I don’t know. However, from what I can see, I think our President is placing too much faith in the intent and purposes of the current Iranian régime. I trust the crazy religious fanatics not at all. So, from the little I can see, I still think the best solution is to wipe them out and let the Iranian people choose their own path. Something they cannot now do.

Seems the only real solution is that the Iranian people rise up and take control of their country. The best thing we could do, if possible, is to arm them to do so. My hope is that this is taking place behind the scenes.
