I guess Mr Johnny Grande is now slated for erasure as I find no additional footage from him, there is a 4 month old biography…. probably by the guy who got this removed.

I was there for the 25 anniversary in 2005, the devastation even after 25 years was not imaginable.
Wildlife was just starting to frequent the 6 mile mark where Mr Johnston got footage of the explosion washing over him (no trace of him was ever found, just the film). There is a commemorative center constructed there, it had just opened when I was there.
Probably still looks the same today but with more plants & animals, I highly recommend visiting there to see what the devastation of an atomic bomb would look like only without the radiation.
Once you visit the site, you might realize that we/you (humans) are but ants on this planet.
Indiana got dusted with ash from it for quite a while, a boon tho the local car wash’s I’m sure.
Guess it is closed at the moment 2027 at the earliest
