But let’s play the one of these things is not like the others game.

HMM chooses the one that portrays Eve as falsely claiming Cain is God?
All while he and his collaborators present three alternatives where Eve gives credit to God?
Isaiah 57:4.
Since that scripture is sometimes taken as a foreshadowing of Christ, not Christ.
Since that scripture is a direct rebuke of those mocking God, not God.
Neither am I mocking God’s Word, the holy scripture.
I am not even claiming, unlike those who write your posts, that I know what the right translations of the holy scriptures are.
I wrote about an unexplained internal contradiction in multiple translations within one post. Contradictions that present two totally different accounts. Eve praising God for giving her a son, or Eve declaring that son to be God.
Even the collaborators who added the exposition below what HMM wrote seem to disagree with him, having presented two of the three translations praising God. Though if they did disagree, they did not proclaim disagreement, just countered what they disagreed with.
I personally find the honesty of showing all the errors and changes over time refreshing. Yet the switch between faith in the KJV and arrogance in knowing better I find disturbing. Not that the KJV isn’t a mix of flaws and poetic beauty not seen in most translations.
Personally, I love the websites like biblehub that present multiple versions. https://biblehub.com/isaiah/57-4.htm As you can see, it is usually just different ways of saying the same thing. It mostly doesn’t matter who is right. And if you ever tried translating a modern language, sometimes no translation can be right.
And I have no clue what source should be used to translate. Septuagint? Masoretic Text? How are the Dead Sea Scrolls different? And there are varying sources for the New Testament too.
Digging even deeper, there are multiple versions of who wrote these things and when they were written. But not being expert, I can only peer in from a distance. I can’t even tell if the JEPD explanation still holds, or if it has been ditched to claim it was all written from Babylon. Heck, they even all disagree on the origins of Paul’s letters. But it is wise to be skeptical of ‘modern experts’.
So basically, I know too much to trust any one human source and too little to know what is true. But I can know when I see such a blatant contradiction. And that the two versions could be used to support very different theologies.
But seriously, was HMM mocking his readers? Two contradictory translations?

No need to explain Bets. Sounds like the cold in CT. I too had a coal stove there. And the heat was glorious. I know it sounds 🤪, but somehow it was softer – less harsh. As you well know, there is an art to coal fires, a learning curve actually. I could keep that baby going for over a week with the proper attention!
We had a burner in the fireplace we always shit down at night before we retired. It keep the coal going all night, and Tue morning room where that fireplace was toasty for the morning. And we had the sweetest sweep who would clean our fireplaces out twice yearly. Golly…the more I write, the more the memories come flooding back. Pretty sure my spirit still lives in that house somewhere…😌

Biography: Also known as ‘The Clown Prince of Denmark,’ Borge came to fame for his unique blend of music and comedy. Both of his parents were musicians, and Borge continued in this line, learning piano and performing as a classical pianist.

The truth is that Margaret Sanger was an avid racist who wished for nothing more than the “de-browning” of America. We have lost a segment of the MAGA movement and it saddens me.
I am not here now to get into the internal divide in MAGA. I am here to cover another subject that I have already covered previously but I feel that I failed to do a good job at it.
And you may see a connection to the divide too.
There are some events in history that illuminate areas and people who otherwise would be hidden. For example take the rise of Donald Trump – see how many things came to light as a result, see how some people showed their true colors as he pushed to resolve some issues that are destroying America. That was an illuminating event.
Take Covid – You could see who is pushing to suppress and who is not. An illuminating event.
And now I will point out the 10/7 massacre. It woke up many demons. Many!
The world divided to those who support the Hamas and those who Stand with Israel. The balance was actually quite shocking.
Make no mistake – it is black and white. Israel haters are NOT doing it for the love of the innocent Palestinians. They simply joined the side of Hamas. And the Palestinians choose the side of Hamas. All surveys show that it, Hamas, would win elections in the West Bank if they had elections.
But Hamas is not only a terror organization. If you read its Charter, it is about killing the Jews. It’s antisemite and it quotes the Hadith (their second holiest scripture): “The Day of Judgement will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews and kill them; and the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees, and the trees will say O Muslims, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me come and kill him…”. This quotation is attributed to Muhammed.
You get the point? This is not about land. It is not about the rights of Palestinians to a nation.
Until 1967 Egypt had Gaza and Jordan had the West Bank. There was no sound of demand for a Palestinian Arab nation. “Palestine” was the name of the land. My father was a “Palestinian”. The essence of Palestine is the destruction of Israel and underneath it is antisemitism. They massacred jews way before the formation of Israel in 1948.
So we have an ancient say : “Tell me who your friend is and I will tell who you are”.
Once a person chooses a group. He assumes it’s identity to a degree. By seeing which groups one supports you can tell a lot about them. The choice can be subtle. For example if you give platform to a terrorist and do not challenge him, you belong to the group of terrorists to a degree and for sure for their ideas and thoughts. A podcaster who gives a platform to a Nazi or Semi-Nazi and wouldn’t challenge has joined the group of Nazis or antisemites.
So my subject is antisemitism.
I will start with a difficult question: Are you an antisemite?
Let me help you a bit. If you are critical of the high Jewish vote for Democrats. You are not an antisemite! It is a statistical fact. We are doomed if we can’t refer to statistical facts of any kind. But if you generalized this “criticism”, turned it to a Jew hatred regardless of who it is then obviously you are an antisemite. After all Sanity is defined as “the ability to identify differences, similarities and identities”. If you can’t see differences between one Jew to another, to that degree it is insane.
Antisemitism is an odd phenomenon. Very old. It has the characteristic of extermination.
This is why attempts to weaken Israel in order to exterminate it are antisemite.
The hate of blacks did not come along with a desire to exterminate them. The hate of Muslims is also not associated with extermination. But antisemitism historically is deadly.
If you don’t like the number of Palestinian civilian casualties in the Gaza and you are critical of Israel about it and think it should have done more to reduce casualties. You are not an antisemite. I don’t like it either.
If you think that the US is giving Israel too much money and weapons. You are not an antisemite unless the hidden reason for your objection is a desire to see Israel wiped out because you think that Jews don’t deserve a nation or such a reason. The antisemite is not always aware that they want the death of Jews. It can be well justified. But Israel without weapons is a death penalty. One can say how it’s “all about the money and the US can’t afford it”. OK. But I can usually see if the reason is pro America or extermination of Israel. The Intention is the key. Evil intention comes with obsession and hate. They can’t stop talking about it. You see the hate in their eyes.
So what is antisemitism? It is “the generalization of Jew hatred with manifestations such as prejudice, hostility, violence, discrimination ”.
So the idea that others can have a nation and Jews not is antisemite as it comes under discrimination.
But Antisemitism oddly enough has a historical pattern that repeats over history and the best way to detect antisemitism is simply look at the list of patterns. If one box checks, it’s antisemitism and if more than one than it’s a stronger degree of it.
The checklist for antisemitism detection:
Antisemitism is a known ancient pattern of accusations. The words “Israel, Jews or Zionism” are just the external facade. The identification of antisemitism is by the age old lines:
1. They killed Jesus.
2. They dominate the world or your nation.
3. They are not loyal to their nations. Dual loyalty.
4. They kill Christians.
5. Their religion is for murder and other heinous crimes.
6. Projecting the alleged crimes of Single known Jews on the Jews collectively.
7. They are just about money and greed.
8. Denial of Jews to have a right for a nation.
9. Holocaust denial.
10. Historical connection to Israel denial.
11. Demonization.
12. Disproportionate obsession with Israel while ignoring wars that are many times bloodier.
13. Hosting antisemites and Holocaust deniers without countering them.
14. Hosting anyone who is in the above categories and not challenging the antisemite statements.
15. They are responsible for the wars in the world.
16 Denial that Jews are actually Jews by blood lines and therefore do not have historical and religious rights .
The “It’s anti Israel and not antisemitism” , “I have Jewish friends” , “There are Jews who say the same thing like me”, etc…
Are nothing but justifications of antisemitism.
Anyone defending those who check boxes in the above list is complicit.

David, at the end of the day it’s just like the beginning. Spiritually this “hatred” goes all the way back to Esau/Jacob, and Ishmael/Isaac. On the surface one could feel sympathetic toward both Esau and Ishmael, seeing that it appears they were both “tricked”. However, sympathizers ignore the clear word of God directing just who would be His “bloodline”. There are many commentaries on why God chose to bypass the “normal” succession and I’d like to mention just 1 –
Basically Esau (the warrior) and Jacob (the scholar) were meant to work together (each using his talent) to bring the “covenant” and knowledge of God as passed down via Abraham (their grandfather) to the world. Sadly though Esau could not “see” past his hostility toward his brother and a potential partnership turned into what is essentially a repeat of Cain and Able – except this time Abel’s hanging in there. The intention remains the same though.
Again spiritually, the root of “anti-Israel/Jew” hatred is traced down the exact same genetic “bloodlines” dispersed throughout the planet – it’s literally in their DNA – just as the traits attributed to Jacob have been passed on. Naturally, this is a generalization because over the millennia, there has been “mixing”, but surprisingly not that much.
And of course as intelligent sentient beings endowed with a soul from above (a portion of God), we should, and in fact are, commanded to rise above perceived “injustices” and to understand that all comes from God for a divine universal purpose. (it’s hard I know).

David, the conservative movement is no more “split” now than it was in Reagan’s day. Then, the point of disagreement was abortion. Reagan was against it, as were many evangelical Christians and people of conscience, but other Republicans believed in the woman’s right to choose. We disagreed. But we still united to return Reagan to office in a landslide. [I wasn’t old enough to vote for him, but my heart was with him all the way. ;)] Litmus tests are a thing of the Left. If you want to truly divide the conservative movement, currently manifest as MAGA, then trying to impose such tests is a way to do it.
But your point #13 I have to disagree with. I’m not surprised that we disagree as many in the world would agree with you. But the American tradition of open debate is uniquely American and one of the bedrocks of our Republic. As Americans, we can disagree, and often do, strenuously. But it used to be the case that we’d do so without ostracizing one another. The battlefield was in the realm of ideas, and bad ideas were defeated by good ones. Tucker Carlson, who seems to have kicked off the “you hosted without attacking, so you’re complicit” mania, hosted a guest. That, alone, does not make him an anti-semite and yet that was enough to begin the effort to deplatform him. It’s even gotten so ridiculous that we have neocon Never Trumpers like Ben Shapiro lecturing conservatives at a TurningPoint event about who are the good conservatives and who are the bad. As Megyn Kelly stated, Ben seriously overestimates his position in the conservative movement.
Rather than spending so much time on the qualifications of an anti-semite, why not put the energy into defeating the ideas characteristic of them. I can tell you, as a point of humble advice, that the constant lobbying for otherwise decent people to be excluded and shunned for a difference of opinion is un-American. It is not in our tradition. I, for one, don’t want the U.S. to look like the rest of the world. Our traditions have created the freest, most robust and opportunity-driven society the world has ever seen, and I’m not anxious to see that given up for what the rest of the world sees (ref. the EU) as “free speech.”
If I cannot say it, then the speech is not free.
If I can be shunned or jailed for saying it, then the speech is not free.
If I can be deplatformed for talking to people who say it, then the speech is not free.
Freedom is a scary thing, and likely the reason why the American experiment is so unique. But many of us like it. And I, for one, have no intention of apologizing for it. God bless America.

There is a common misconception of Freedom of Speech : It was never designed to protect the rights of the criminal, of the Nazi, of the terrorist, of the antisemite, it was designed to protect the rights of the well intentioned people.
The Conservative movement has never given a front stage to antisemites, Holocaust deniers, Hitler sympathizers.
Movements who decide to take this curve are doomed. In the last TPUSA I have seen a known antisemite wearing a shirt with “Jews to ovens” with an image of an oven. Is this what you want to protect in your front yard? Candace is checking almost all the boxes on the list.

But David, people are not criminals, at least in America, for the things they say. You may disagree with those things, and frankly I am in disagreement with many people because of their positions, but criminalizing their speech is un-American and represents the creeeping totalitarianism that is infecting Europe and that has been so effectively called out by our Vice President and Secretary of State. A person should never go to jail for Facebook posts, which threaten no violence, just because they are taken as anti-Muslim, or anti-minority, or even anti-Semitic.
You mention the types of people who have not been given “front stage” in the conservative movement. But isn’t that the very point we’re debating here? Whether simply talking to such people is a de facto endorsement of their positions? And I am saying, again using Tucker as an example, that simply talking to someone does not mean endorsement and such a notion is un-American. But that is where the vilification of Tucker began, in truth.
The problem with criminalizing speech is that someone has to make the determination as to whether something so inherently subjective is offensive, and that gets into motivations, which are very difficult to discern. In Europe, they’ve skipped the hard part and the words themselves have become the criminal act, forget the messiness of trying to discern motives.
Freedom of speech is for people of a certain cultural and political maturity. People who can hear something with which they disagree, sometimes intensely, and still be civil about it. When they stop being civil, then we get the Tyler Robinson’s of the world. Your deplatforming is simply an entry level gateway to the kind of cultural revolution taking place in Europe now. As I said, it is un-American. Why do you want it for the United States? The Pandora’s box you want to unleash will consume Jews as well as Gentiles, because the kind of people most enamored of such systems have no love for Jews, and they would determine which speech was offensive, as was happening during the Biden regime.
Enough, already. It is un-American. Our traditions might not be the cup of tea of the rest of the world, but there is a reason Americans have traditionally seen their country as exceptional. But for Freedom of Speech, disfavored groups would never stand a chance to rise above their general disfavor. I actually understand and agree with most of what you said. I think you didn’t understand what I meant and recommend to read again if you have the time and patience. But I will explain.
I am the last one to encourage the European Globalist Progressive model of oppression on freedom of speech.

I did not mean that the one who say things that are not to my taste is a criminal, even though that I think that libel and slander laws are too weak and oddly enough the latest tweet of Trump was exactly about this point, he referred to The NY Times I think.
In the 30s the raise of Hitler and the Nazi party preceded with giving antisemitism and anti Jew conspiracies to go to main stream. Shortly after, the dam of poison broke and a half of my family was murdered not to mention the rest of the victims of WW2 and the Holocaust.
Tucker hosting a Hitler loving people, Holocust deniers, his last guest after the program is on video saying how “Hitler was really cool guy”. I don’t think you’re aware how deep Tucker and Candace went into the rabbit holes of antisemitism. It’s relentless and obsessive. A Correction:
I took a second look and I have a correction about the statement that there are only two sides: The Pro Hamas and Pro Israel.
There is a third side with its sub-divisions. There is the side who is “not taking a sides”. And this divides into two:
The irresponsible (“Not my business”) and the False Righteous (“I am looking at all sides”), a form of color blindness and inability to distinguish between the intentions, between good and evil. By adopting the justifications of a terror organization and antisemites one takes their colors.

My sister-in-law and her children are Jewish. She is a conservative Trump supporter. Her sisters are Virulently leftist. No amount of reasoning can convince them that their views, voting, and demonstrating are contrary to their very existence!
Many women I know blather on and on regarding the treatment of women, yet support Hamas and other Muslim groups whose views on the subjugation of women are well established. Such a dichotomy.

Starting school, I had a friend that was agonizing over which country to choose. She was born to American Diplomats in London. I have no clue to why she had to choose but nobody has to choose today.

Many of them actually choose and moved back to Israel. So I would guess that there are about 120,000 Dual citizens in the US. None is in Congress. This is 0.036% of the US.
I would highly recommend to look at who is making it an issue. Because they are antisemites.
There are 19% Hispanics in the US. Why not worry about their dual loyalty? There are 0.6% of Korean Americans, why not worry about their loyalty?

I am American, and have friends and relatives in Israel whom I love. I also have cherished relatives of Palestinian background.
Everyone is afraid because the hatemongers paint false identities onto other human beings, (usually for financial gain of greedy influences in the background, when you dig for the reasons).
I do not know what to do or say that can overcome this. I am not a “religious” person in the tribal or political sense; I do love and seek God in my life, and pray for peace, and believe that President Trump is working along these lines also.

Good morning nim. I am amazed at the stupidity of people when encountering wild animals. When I lived in the mountains of Arizona, there were Elk everywhere, bulls with their harems and you knew better than to get anywhere close to them!
Behind my house was a large meadow where the elks would come down and graze early morning or right before dark. My yard was fenced in. I could sit on my back porch and watch them, but never dared go beyond my fence. They are beautiful creatures to watch. In the summer we would go up to 7000 feet altitude to pick the biggest blackberries I have ever seen. The bushes were about 5 or more feet tall and the berries were as big of your thumb! You had to be watchful and never go alone as there were elk herds and black bears wanting those berries and various snakes (which preyed on the birds eating the berries).

Why American Gunners Deliberately “Missed” German Tiger Tanks in WWII The Genius Strategy.
If you watch the movie Fury,
you will notice that Sherman tanks have different guns. Two of them have the longer barreled higher velocity 76 mm gun. One has a older short barrel 75 mm which was the original equipment on the Sherman.
There was one type shell that was a sabot round made for that 76 mm gun that could penetrate the frontal glacis of a Tiger. But those shells were in very short supply.
The 76 mm gun was better for armor penetration but not nearly as good as the 75 mm for high explosive rounds. The higher velocity and thus higher pressure produced when fired required the HE shell to have a thicker shell so that only had about 2/3 as much explosives that the HE round fired by the older lower velocity 75 mm gun.
For that reason when they started retrofitting the tanks with 76 mm guns many crews opted to stick with the older 75 mm original equipment.
For example. Here is Cobra King, the most fabled Sherman tank of WW II since it was the first tank into Bastogne to relieve the 101st Abn and others that were besieged there. It is a “Jumbo” tank, or IOW it was a tank produced at the Factory with heavier frontal armor. Though it is a later model Sherman it still has the older 75 mm Gun.
Of course the British adapted the Sherman turret to handle their 17 pounder anti-tank gun,and called it the Firefly which was a real Tiger killer.

one of the demonstrations was a tank downrange, crossing left to right at a fast clip and firing farther downrange a targets and knocking them off despite their rapid relative motion, “shooting on the fly”

What other tank versions were we using at the end of the war?
As I understand it, the war had multiple arms races.
While Germany had panzers 3 and 4 before the war, they also had a lot of light tanks, German and Czeck. Most other countries had designed tanks to support infantry. The German tanks couldn’t hurt the British Matilde in France, so Rommel called up his flak guns.
And the T34 was a shocker that caused a lot of tank upgrades and new tank designs.
America also designed tanks for infantry support and relied on other vehicles to fight tanks. When the flawed Grant and the Sherman showed up in North Africa, there weren’t many tigers or upgraded panzer 4s, so for a brief moment the Sherman ruled.
Also, we had committed significant other resources to support the Sherman, such as bridge design, so we had great inertia to changing. But I keep seeing tidbits of other designs to fight tanks.
And the Russians made the T34/85 to fight the bigger tanks produced to beat the T34.
Not sure how we would have fared with a Patton like fight between us and Russia, but the old T34 would have likely bested the old Sherman.
I will have more to write later Jim when we have time to discuss it. The next couple days are going to be busy for me.

COMMENTARY FOR 1 JOHN 1
This epistle is a discourse upon the principles of Christianity, in doctrine and practice. The design appears to be, to refute and guard against erroneous and unholy tenets, principles, and practices, especially such as would lower the Godhead of Christ, and the reality and power of his sufferings and death, as an atoning sacrifice; and against the assertion that believers being saved by grace, are not required to obey the commandments. This epistle also stirs up all who profess to know God, to have communion with him, and to believe in him, and that they walk in holiness, not in sin, showing that a mere outward profession is nothing, without the evidence of a holy life and conduct. It also helps forward and excites real Christians to communion with God and the Lord Jesus Christ, to constancy in the true faith, and to purity of life.The apostle prefaces his epistle to believers in general, with evident testimonies to Christ, for promoting their happiness and joy. (1-4) The necessity of a life of holiness, in order to communion with God, is shown. (5-10)
(5-10) A message from the Lord Jesus, the Word of life, the eternal Word, we should all gladly receive. The great God should be represented to this dark world, as pure and perfect light. As this is the nature of God, his doctrines and precepts must be such. And as his perfect happiness cannot be separated from his perfect holiness, so our happiness will be in proportion to our being made holy. To walk in darkness, is to live and act against religion. God holds no heavenly fellowship or intercourse with unholy souls. There is no truth in their profession; their practice shows its folly and falsehood. The eternal Life, the eternal Son, put on flesh and blood, and died to wash us from our sins in his own blood, and procures for us the sacred influences by which sin is to be subdued more and more, till it is quite done away. While the necessity of a holy walk is insisted upon, as the effect and evidence of the knowledge of God in Christ Jesus, the opposite error of self-righteous pride is guarded against with equal care. All who walk near to God, in holiness and righteousness, are sensible that their best days and duties are mixed with sin. God has given testimony to the sinfulness of the world, by providing a sufficient, effectual Sacrifice for sin, needed in all ages; and the sinfulness of believers themselves is shown, by requiring them continually to confess their sins, and to apply by faith to the blood of that Sacrifice. Let us plead guilty before God, be humble, and willing to know the worst of our case. Let us honestly confess all our sins in their full extent, relying wholly on his mercy and truth through the righteousness of Christ, for a free and full forgiveness, and our deliverance from the power and practice of sin.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

She sang with her sisters during WII. After, she wanted to go on her own for opera. She had the pipes for it all right. With her sisters she sang soprano. But her teacher after told her she was a natural mezzo. So she lowered her range. The rest is history. Worldwide fame. She and her very close friend, the bel canto soprano Joan Sutherland with whom she had so many duets, both sat as judges for the Cardiff Singer of the World where many an operatic star was launched.

Are you saved by the Blood of the Lamb?
Are you washed clean or will you God damn?
