Told ya so. Virtually all the weather models are biased against showing cold. They simply can’t “see” it until it is almost upon us. This is the way it has been for years now and yet the programmers refuse to try and correct this defect.
Notice the difference? Only now are the models beginning to see the full extent and severity of the 2nd wave of Arctic blast coming.

It was because I know this problem, having seen it repeatedly for a couple decades now, that I restocked my wood rack in the house yesterday. It also why I stocked up on bird seed and feed. And why Sherry and I are going to finish up our Christmas shopping tomorrow.
There was a guy that moved into a little office spot 2 units down from mine, he was from the NY/NJ east coast area.
He eventually asked me about the weather around here (mountainous area of CO) as he was confused about the forcasts around here being wrong.
Which I laughed at when he asked me where to find accurate information, told him he needed to get a weather rock as it would be more accurate than anything that NOAA puts out in advance… then they change it to what is actually happening at the time.
Last week we had fronts that moved thru, NOAA had forcasted less then 1/2 inch of snow….. we actually got 4″, 40 degree day inbetween which was accurate then another 1-2 inches next day …. we got about 8″… according to the mountain report… it got 22″ since colder up there (between both days)…. fluffier … powder weather up there.
NOAA has also forcasted historically 6-8″ of snow and we get less than an inch, mountains make their own weather.
Now I learned 1st hand watching from a fall gathering in Buena Vista @ a guys house that was essentially @ the bottom on Mt Princton (a 14 teener & he had said the mountains make their own weather.
Well some sort of front came thru and it was litterallly storming on the top of Mt Princeton lightning and all, it was Sunny & warm @ his house, we put off summiting Princeton for the day to later in the week.
Oh, that storm lasted about 2 hours then back to sunny.
The view of the Collegiate peaks from the aptly named Buena Vista/ Arkansas river valley and coming over Trout Creek Pass is awesome. Missing Colorado. Enjoy Magic.
The drive up to Denver on 285 is definately breathtaking, haven’t had a need to go to Denver there was little cell service on prior drives so sensible to drive during daylight hours & not at night.
If you gotta drive @ night… I-25 is far safer tho at least an hour longer drive depending on volume & any incidents.
Summited Princton & Antero in different years… add an old photo for ya, ok so those didn’t make it to this RAID array they are on the windoz one that malfunctioned back in June that I haven’t fixed yet, so here is one from 2008 when nephew came with me on a trip around the state.

Would still be there except for family even though the politics are going from bad to extremes.

‘ scisko’ measurements in all sorts of things for years in cloths, money and especially in petrol (your gas) when the we were taxed off the road, they changed the pumps to litres from gallons.
Do you know our ‘gas’ is roughly 6 times more expensive than yours?
So my sympathies.
As I recall, that is how they pay for “free” health care. There was a shortage / price spike of Impco systems to convert cars to propane to avoid the health care tax of fuel. I beleive they delayed it on diesel as to not pass on to food / truck deliverys which is why lots of cars were produced as diesel.
That was the late 90’s as I recall. <amazon impco conversion kit>
Forklifts already use liquid propane as stock, but still uses same parts that occasionally go bad.

Biography: Nobel was the owner of Bofors, a company which he redirected from iron and steel production into arms manufacture. He held a vast array of patents, with dynamite being the most well-known. As a result of his talent as an inventor and business acumen, Nobel became very wealthy.

Is this necessary?
Change browser to Brave as it has very good ad blocking built in.
Add a VPN, advertisers will not pay to advertise to you cause they do not know where you really are unless it is something national such a Soda companies.
I don’t believe Sundance really has any control as to who advertises here, alot of it is dictated by the cookies stored on your device. Clear cookies.
I have Brave set to clear everything every time I close it, makes things a little more difficult but even Ytube doesn’t “suggest” anything to me as I have Zero history for them to look at to serve whatever they desire.

My vote is the latter.
Before I started using Brave, they were targeting me with ads that repeatedly jerked the page up to the top of the screen. I could not read thru long pages. No way to jerk back, forcing me to have to hunt for my previous spot. And typing comments was made a nightmare. And only this site was targeted by those abusive ads.

Quite possibly there are people that are targeting the site for that purpose, they still pay for the ad to be shown to someone here tho.
That is one thing about, at least my VPN, it also blocks connections to known ad servers that might get thru the browsers blocking, thus denying the ad server placing one.
That does cause issues tho with sites like YTube, it delays playing of videos as it is expecting an ad to be played but does not play one tho the time slot has to time out before video begins. Either 15 or 30 seconds.
It is the same as you would experience if the ad played, only you never are forced to see it, just a blank screen and a warning from YT if you are experiencing delays & points to their resolution page which states >>>> ad blocking is an issue…. LOL no kidding
Some sites will not load with agressive ad blocking / VPN or I must turn off ad blocking to view site. um.. NO
One thing is for sure, someone else has what ever info you might have caught a link to for viewing the same information someone else blocked you from seeing.

Yes, they are going to look for common cookies from specific ad server sites that reside on your device, they will have an instant auction to the highest paying advertisers & that is what you will get shown to you.
That is how I set my advertising with a maximum price I would pay for an online ad up to my daily dollar limit.
Once I had spent that amount, no more ads would be shown til next period.
So if someone else was bidding with a maximum price above mine…. their ad would show instead of mine… until they hit their maximum daily dollar limit.
Kinda like an ebay auction, only instantly in the background for ad dollars.
Some changes I noticed from Google was that I would only pay if someone clicked thru my ad to call me, then they would charge a rather high rate for generating that call, let’s just say a buck for each call instead of .01 to .10 to show you my ad.

COMMENTARY FOR PSALMS 37
David persuades to patience and confidence in God, by the state of the godly and of the wicked.
21-33 The Lord our God requires that we do justly, and render to all their due. It is a great sin for those that are able, to deny the payment of just debts; it is a great misery not to be able to pay them. He that is truly merciful, will be ever merciful. We must leave our sins; learn to do well, and cleave to it. This is true religion. The blessing of God is the spring, sweetness, and security of all earthly enjoyments. And if we are sure of this, we are sure not to want any thing good for us in this world. By his grace and Holy Spirit, he directs the thoughts, affections, and designs of good men. By his providence he overrules events, so as to make their way plain. He does not always show them his way for a distance, but leads them step by step, as children are led. God will keep them from being ruined by their falls, either into sin or into trouble, though such as fall into sin will be sorely hurt. Few, if any, have known the consistent believer, or his children, reduced to abject, friendless want. God forsakes not his saints in affliction; and in heaven only the righteous shall dwell for ever; that will be their everlasting habitation. A good man may fall into the hands of a messenger of Satan, and be sorely buffeted, but God will not leave him in his enemy’s hands.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Evening Prayer For Forgiveness
Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.
Thank You, that You are such a gracious Shepherd to me and that You come and rescue me even when I lose my way and stray from the path that You have laid out for me.
As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.
Give me a good night’s sleep I pray, knowing that there is no condemnation because I am in Christ, and may I wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to do Your will. In Jesus’ name I pray,

Evening Prayer For Future Guidance
Heavenly Father, as I lie down to sleep tonight, I pray that You would guard my sleeping and protect my mind from wandering thoughts and unnecessary planning. Teach me to wait for Your perfect timing and not to try to plan my future in my own strength.
Lord, I know that You have scheduled every day of my life. Help me to trust You in all things and rely on You to lead me along the straight path and guide me in the direction that You would have me to go.
Give me patience to wait for Your perfect timing, and may I not trust in my own abilities and scheming, but rather rest in Your love and trust my future into Your hands.
And so now Lord, I commit this night to you, asking that I would rest soundly and wake refreshed and strong to do Your bidding. This I ask in Jesus’ precious name,

Praise Your holy name Heavenly Father, for granting yet another day in my life and for being with me every step of the way. Thank You for the many blessings that You have provided and the love and fellowship that I have with the friends and family that in Your grace You have placed in my life.
My heart is so thankful for all the many blessings that I enjoy day by day, and today I am once again reminded that Your mercies are new every morning and Your faithfulness endures from generation to generation.
Thank You, that I have been brought into Your family and have been made a child of God and a citizen of heaven. Words cannot express my love and devotion to You Lord
I pray that You would watch over me as I rest tonight, and that You would give me a restful nights sleep so that I may wake up in the morning refreshed in body and spirit and ready to do Your will.
