Who is the “Deep State”?
Who runs / controls the Deep State?
These questions keep being asked because we have not been informed with names or positions of those who actually make up the Deep State or names or positions of those who exercise control over those who make up the “rank and file” of the Deep State.
Until now.
Lara Logan interviewed a whistleblower who was inside the group who runs the (U.S.) Deep State. He knows and tells her who runs it – CIGIE (Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency.)

And yet who has ever heard of the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency?
I hadn’t noticed this place mentioned in my copy of the Constitution.

The CIGIE is comprised of all Inspectors General whose offices are established under section 2 or section 8G of the Inspector General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.), those that are Presidentially-appointed/Senate Confirmed and those that are appointed by agency heads (designated federal entities). The Deputy Director for Management of the Office of Management and Budget is the Executive Chair of the Council. The Chair of the Council is elected by the Council members to serve a 2 year term. The Chair appoints a Vice Chair from other than the category from which the Chair was elected. Other statutory members of the CIGIE include: the Inspectors General of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Central Intelligence Agency, the Controller of the Office of Federal Financial Management, a senior level official of the Federal Bureau of Investigation designated by the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Director of the Office of Government Ethics, Special Counsel of the Office of Special Counsel, the Deputy Director of the Office of Personnel Management, the Inspectors General of the Library of Congress, Capitol Police, Government Publishing Office, Government Accountability Office, and the Architect of the Capitol.
Prior to the establishment of the CIGIE, the Federal Inspectors General operated under the auspices of two councils, The President’s Council on the Integrity and Efficiency (PCIE) and the Executive Council on the Integrity and Efficiency (ECIE) from the time they were established by Executive Order 12805, May 11, 1992 until the signing of P.L. 110-409.

Treepers are better informed than most citizens thanks to Sundance but this person reveals details of which I’m sure even most here are unaware.
I hope Dr. Shindelar has a magic wand.
He doesn’t, but he does have a solid record of who’s been in positions that could have taken corrective actions against governmental fraud and other crimes but chose to remain silent and not take any action. He was fired for not pretending as he was ordered to do, he stood up and became a whistleblower for which he was fired. That firing in and of itself was a crime that has not been prosecuted. He described that situation in some detail in the middle of the interview.
The short clip I linked is a brief video but the full interview is 3 hours. The full interview is loaded with very specific “red meat” all the way through….so it’s worth the time, IMHO..
I watched the full video TWICE before I commented on it. I get it.
One lesson learned, no one believes, or likes the truth. Truth tellers are scoffed upon.
I know what you mean, but our host and a whole lot of us Treepers prefer the truth over bullsht even when it’s bad news.
Can’t listen quick….it’s almost 3 hours. I worry that President Trump will get caught in that trap they are setting for him. Bondi better get busy and set a trap of her own except I’m not sure who she works for.
Yes Dr. Shindelar talks about that “trap” with some scary information… but also that it can be blocked by winning the midterms, but not if Republicans forfeit the midterms back to the Democrats. It all comes down to next November.
