The people who are betting that on the OVER for player X’s stats are getting cheated when player X purposely fakes an injury so that everyone (including himself) who wagered on the UNDER “win”. Player X cheated. The people who thought that prop bets were legit got ripped off.
Legal sportsbooks get cheated because they set the odds based upon public knowledge of injuries and prior stats. If player X KNOWS that he is going to fake an injury then legal sportsbooks will set the payout odds unfairly and to the detriment of their customers.

Agree. The cartels will have a hard time manning those boats. This has to be costing the cartels money. Those boats and a submarine and the resale value of the drugs are worth a lot of money. Cartels exist because of the vast sums of money they make. An open war with the US military is the last thing they want because they can’t win that. They will not quit though. They will find other ways to continue operating, which might include lying low until Trump is gone.
I would be interested to know how many boats are caught and how many still get through.
This war against transnational criminal organizations is worth fighting. The damage done to the US from drugs and human trafficking is immense. Think of all the stolen wealth and ruined lives and increased corruption. It’s not just the money that Americans spend to buy these drugs. It’s all the money spent fighting them too. Trump is hitting them where it hurts and I hope he continues to escalate his efforts. I would like to see it become so difficult for them to operate that it no longer pays off.

I believe that Bush’s “War on Drugs” only accelerated the problems. Since the demand is a societal issue, I would like to hear solutions for that.
