It’s called “topping a trailer”. Something I never managed to do, not once, in nearly 2 million miles of over the road driving. And never did I ever get into a situation where I had to back up due to low bridge or overpass clearance. Not in NYC, Chicago, or any other city known for having lots of low underpasses.
