I was out in the woods earlier in the week and found a clear wide mouthed glass bottle with a threaded top and finger grooves moulded into the glass. It looked interesting and so I brought the bottle home and cleaned it up. I’ve found old bottles before that had prohibition era history to them.
This bottle has moulded onto it Ferolito Vultaggio & Sons written in script along the side of the bottle. The bottle has “Registered May 5 1992” moulded into it.
It’s a cool looking bottle with some artistic flair to it, but upon looking it up, it’s an Arizona Iced Tea.
I’ll put some water in it and a rose and place it on a table top for a couple days, my wife will like it and then maybe recycle it, unless she wants to keep it.
Might sell for about thirty bucks on eBay
They made a cobalt blue glass bottle with finger depressions for Arizona Tea..

Hello, I am asking for prayers. Our daughter was released from the hospital on Thursday. She was there for 3 weeks and today is her 20th birthday.
She suffered from a breakdown.
She has always been Type A+, high achieving and very industrious but always taking on too much.
We knew there would be a price to pay for this but we thought it would be a cough that might turn into something serious like pneumonia, but not this.
She will re-start college in the fall.

Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.
Thank You, that You are such a gracious Shepherd to me and that You come and rescue me even when I lose my way and stray from the path that You have laid out for me.
As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.
Give me a good night’s sleep I pray, knowing that there is no condemnation because I am in Christ, and may I wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to do Your will. In Jesus’ name I pray,

What Monti said… I just learned this trick this year as my tomatoes were all damaged and I couldn’t figure it out. Egg shells turned then right around and the fruit is plentiful and good now.
I have planted an entire egg in the bottom of a planter, the plants seem to like it. Also have done the crushed shells too.
Woo, our tomato season is nearing it’s end, now that August has arrived. Praise God, we’ve had a glorious garden and there still quite a few tomatoes. Still growing some peppers and hopefully the zucchini aren’t completely done. Started getting stuff around May 20 so two and a half months of fresh produce ain’t bad at all. Forgot the 6 cantaloupes that we picked. 🙂 And the parsley and basil are still going strong. Thanks be to God or as our friend David would say, Baruh Hashem!

there are 3 types of seismic waves as they propagate from the earthquake locus
P-waves – Primary waves, or compressional waves – if you’re lying in bed and the quake is arriving at your location from the direction of the foot off your bed, this wave will slide your bed forward and back, knocking your headboard against the wall
S-waves – Shear waves, these will slide your bed across the floor to the left and right, side to side
Rayleigh waves – Surface waves, these can be seen coming at you across the landscape like ocean waves
Those 3 are roughly in order of increasing amplitude / displacement
P-waves will be the first arrivals, you’ll feel a hard knock followed by shaking that may increase before it tails off
S-waves will arrive next, may overlap with the P-waves if the quake is near enough, else there may be a time gap if the quake was farther away

As a boy, I recognized that the beautiful natural world and abundant life were created and felt awe, joy and appreciation. As a teenager, I spoke, from my heart, to God to express my gratitude for his creation, my life, and sending his son Jesus for our redemption; to ask forgiveness of my sins through Jesus and repent; to make my heart pure for Jesus to live and shine his light, truth and courage through me; and guide my life. The next day, I arrived home to find that my father had left. I felt stunned but also calm. One year later, I was injured playing a sport, ending all school athletics for me. I began to live only within the confines of the tangible world and popular culture while neglecting my spiritual dimension, drifting away from who I am as a person with little inner happiness. My life was off course and going nowhere. Then, I received a tremendous gift of love from my future wife coming into my life. Soon after, a phone call with my mom regarding the continuing bad effects of their divorce caused me to clearly see and feel the true sadness of my family break-up, and I sobbed uncontrollably, finally releasing my pent-up feelings. I earnestly prayed to renew my relationship with Jesus/God and specifically and clearly asked for guidance for my life. A few weeks later, my future wife asked me what I really wanted to become. The answer came up out of me as if it had been there all along waiting to be acknowledged as though I had been hardwired to follow a course but was only then realizing it. From that point forward, all I needed to do was my best through the challenges and sometimes struggles that awaited me, and I was provided with the strength and support to succeed in a career and provide for my future family. During our wedding ceremony at the church, I was unexpectedly overcome by what I believe was the Holy Spirit, the power and intensity of which felt stronger than love. Witnessing my children being born granted a rare glimpse into the miracle and truth of creation, with no faith needed, and that love is the most powerful force on earth as I would give up my life, in an instant, without any hesitation, to protect my child and spouse. When each of two elderly family members passed away, there was a surprising sense of peace, a holy peace, that permeated the entire room at the moment of death, and for several minutes after, that all those present felt and acknowledged in whispers. Right after my mom’s funeral driving home, I received a clear, telepathic communication in her voice that said, “It’s okay honey, I’m alright”, which is exactly the way she would say it. Looking back, it is clear to me that a path was provided for my life that was beyond chance or self-realization. The contrast between before versus after receiving the gift of my wife, renewing my relationship with Jesus/God and asking for guidance was too great to attribute to me alone or random events.
