Secretary of State and National Security Advisor Marco Rubio discusses foreign policy engagements with President Trump’s doctrine at the forefront. As noted by Secretary Rubio, President Trump is the ultimate closer who genuinely enjoys the art of negotiating deals on behalf of the United States.
Secretary Rubio walks through some of the global confliction points where President Trump has tasked his team to engage with foreign governments. Rubio also talks about the restructuring within the U.S. Dept of State.
.
The Secretary of State and National Security Advisor roles are perfect for the skillset of Marco Rubio. If there are some big positive surprises within the second term, the executive excellence of Marco Rubio is certainly at the top of the list.

Definitely like this Marco Rubio more and more each time he gets interviewed;
he even showed us his ability to offer diplomatic humbleness that’s been so lacking in our politicians these days when asked about running for President in 2028, deferring to JD Vance by acknowledging Vance as doing a good job as VP.
I can see why he has been successful in the various tasks President Trump has put in Sec. State Rubio’s lap.
Let’s start talking about “President in 2028” … in 2027. Right now there is WORK to be done. A lot of it …
And we can talk about whether or not certain people are even eligible to run for POTUS in 2027…
Rubio seemed to say his good friend Vance should be the next POTUS while he stays in a job he loves and feels qualified for, Secretary of State.
Bessie, I understand your enthusiasm. However I agree with Mike’s reply.
There’s more than enough current material “on the table” to discuss while PDJT’s #47 Administration’s top officials demonstrate their skillset, ability to accomplish critical missions despite serious Democrap/Uniparty obstruction, and the level of their dedication to PDJT’s America First Agenda.
We are only 6+ months into this Administration so IMHO it’s a bit early to have a serious discussion about any 2028 POTUS candidates until we have more of a record of their respective performances & accomplishments while working for President Trump.
This year still presents some significant obstacles to PDJT’s MAGA agenda as the anti-American communists hiding within our nation (thousands of Chinese illegals & more) and those long-term Democratic Socialists of America & like-minded radicals embedded throughout our government and media all execute multiple strategies to undermine and derail our President and society as much as possible.
The next 18 months will be a challenge, so 2028 is still a “long” way off…..
You gentlemen missed her point. She was not projecting forward to the 2028 election! She was merely giving an example of what she perceived as Rubio’s newfound diplomatic skills. But hey, it was a great opportunity to pontificate. Geez.
Marco Rubio has been remarkable in his roles for this administration. What a quiet warrior he is for President Trump. A year ago I would have never thought this possible. Further proof that The Lord does indeed work in mysterious ways.
Father God, please continue to let no weapons formed against them prosper. 🙏
I think that in all of his senior staffing decisions, Trump chose well and constructed a tight team.
(Yes. “Including Bondi.”)
We have to believe what we see and we see a Rubio completely committed to Trump agenda and bringing forth his best skills as a communicator and, as it turns out, administrator, in addition to being a great diplomat, to advance it. He has done this country and himself great service. Clearly far and ahead of most of Trump’s cabinet for a VP slot to Vance and very likely in line for Rubio 2036
I’d love to see him put Mark Warner in his place.
Or share info internally on where the SSCI bodies are buried.
Is it ALLIGAT*R ALCATR*Z….???????
Oh, now THAT would be sweet!
Trump is gone in 3 years ,IF the USA wants to ”focus on peace” stop picking fights, (how many dozens of regime changes have they done since WWII?) retire some of the 800 bases around the world, stop building the biggest NATO base in Romania, stop funding and supplying, and running the proxy war in Ukraine. The USA is a belligerent, not an impartial mediator. NATO cant have a port at Sevastopol, no matter how much it wishes. Talk about peace may change after Trump is no longer POTUS. Putin has seen presidents come and go, making a ”deal”with one means nothing when a future POTUS can do something different. Not an inch, east promised to Gorbachev, was just so much hot air. Minsk I and Minsk II were lies. The USA is in no position to dictate terms. Russia has said that root causes have to be addressed. Ukraine has one choice, unconditional surrender. The 50 days is probably what it will take to collapse Ukraine. The USA is not a continental power,EU is not capable, and no population is interested in war. The Deep State is alive and well and may have pulled its head inside its shell for now. Unless it’s ended, it will be back, and doesn’t seem like it wants to give up global hegemony any time soon. It may take national bankruptcy or default to end that. The people in the Deep State play their own game, using USA taxpayers as a source of limitless financing. They aren’t working for our interests.
The problem with that synopsis, is that Obama promised to defend Ukraine if Ukraine gave its Soviet era ICBM’s back to a reformed Russia. They did not want to, as Ukraine did not trust Russia not to invade. Figuring the ICBMs were the only thing keeping Russian tanks from crossing into Ukraine. USA and most of Europe signed a treaty saying we’d defend Ukraine if Russia ever invaded. So here we are.
I, too, am weary of being the world’s Policeman. But if not us, who? China?
They were Soviet ICBM— NOT Ukrainian.
Ukraine was to be a NEUTRAL nation.
President Bush brokered a treaty where Ukraine returned ICBM stockpiles to Russia and The U.S. PLEDGED to defend Ukraine from Russian invasion!!! And Russia made President Bush to prevent the expansion of NATO!!! Both pledges of the U.S. were worthless. NATO’s expansion eastward toward Russia began almost immediately with the U.S. not only not blocking NATO’s expansions but gave its blessing. Then the promise to defend Ukraine proved to be worthless again as President Obama stood by and did nothing as Russia invaded the Crimea. I’m horrified at our country’s promises make us untrustworthy allies.
What a blessing from God… amazing how God works through human agency.. Well done, Marco! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Nothing is impossible for God! It’s why we must remember to always strive to put God first and give him thanks and praise all the days of our lives!
AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!!!
More Power to you, Secretary Marco!
It seems Marco Rubio is enjoying his work with POTUS. From what I can tell in his facial expression about bringing the negotiations to 95% and then letting POTUS be the closer. What an amazing thing to see!
Stop and somehow reverse China buying up all of America’s land.
I could not be more impressed with Marco Rubio in these roles. He’s a shining gem in Trump’s cabinet.
Marco gives one confidence that our country is in good hands.
I have to listen with my eyes closed.
Lara used to be a nice, wholesome girl.
I can’t imagine why she needed to plump her lips, paint on those giant eyebrows and feel the need to redo the perfection that God gave her. It’s off putting.
Maybe we should call him “Big Marco” now.
If Marco keeps up this pace, he’s gonna become a formidable GOP Presidential candidate somewhere down the road.
Not that I trust him. I don’t trust Vance, either. I don’t trust Bannon. I don’t even trust Charlie Kirk. There are lots of great, “MAGA appearing” politicians (& “influencers” or activists) growing up under Trump’s governance. However, a large number of them will turn out to be simply be GOP-e salamanders. Others will be progressive libertarians, like Rand and Massie and others, who will always be 180 degrees out of phase with some of my own Christian moral values.
I don’t trust anyone. I don’t trust what I read. I don’t trust what I see. I trust, God’s Word in the Bible, and beyond that, I “Trust, but verify”, every other human being.
Marco Rubi said yesterday on Fox with Laura Trump that Russia has had over 100,000 troops killed in the Russian/Ukraine war just so far this year. Although that does seem high, and I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m pretty sure President Trump’s Secretary of State and National Security Advise has much better numbers than I have. No mention of Ukrainians killed, but it’s almost certainly a lot. .
