Today, the second circuit court of appeals finally overturns one of the most ridiculous Obama/Biden dystopian lawfare cases against the first amendment. Defendant Douglass Mackey wins his appeal and the case is dismissed [RULING HERE]
The ridiculous case was against Douglass Mackey, aka Twitter user Ricky Vaughn, who posted a silly meme against Hillary Clinton in 2016. The Biden DOJ prosecuted Mackey saying he was part of a conspiracy to rob Clinton of the election, by posting memes of disinformation around the election.
Mackey was tried and convicted in New York; however, finally an appeals court looked at the stupidity of it and ruled in his favor, sending the case back to the lower court for dismissal.
Literally all the guy did was post snarky memes poking fun of democrats and Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election… However, the United States government claimed: “the defendant exploited a social media platform to infringe one the of most basic and sacred rights guaranteed by the Constitution: the right to vote.”
After the jury remained deadlocked for three days, and after thrice telling the judge they were deadlocked, Judge Ann Donnelly threatened not to release them from duty unless and until they came to a decision on guilt. The jury in 2023 subsequently found Douglass Mackey, a 33-year-old who went by the name Ricky Vaughn on Twitter and a resident of Florida (insert DeSantis silence here), guilty of creating a meme against the interests of the U.S. government.
I have watched many of the Senate Judiciary hearings on Judges selected. It was disgusting the selections Biden made. Than add in Little Dickey Durbin and what you get is a newly minted Judge who is a disaster. Some under questioning by Republican Senators had little knowledge of the Constitution or major case law.

Instead of taxpayers reimbursing, how about investigatores and prosecutors coughing up the compensation? After all, prosecutors have “discretion” to prosecute…
But the lawsuit needs to be brought against and paid for by the criminals who did this, not the American taxpayer. They’re suing Trump for Jan 6, certainly they can identify and sue those whose fingerprints are all over this.
I hope he does get his due but the people who caused his grief will pay nothing. American taxpayers will pay the price.
Regardless of this dismissal the man was put through hell and financially ruined. This also has been suppressing free speech for over eight years ! Nobody involved will face any real repercussions. The man will suffer PTSD for the rest of his life.

This case initially got under my skin. Just so violative of the spirit of our laws in favor of free speech. And manipulated by the gvt against an innocent man, the man in the town square telling people in our modern day about events and his opinion, mocking them, via his meme. It tells me much about those prosecutors and that judge.
This case had ZERO to do with free speech. The government conceded that the meme was protected by the first amendment.

So this case had NOTHING to do with the absurdity of people believing the content of the meme. It was strictly a conspiracy case, and a conspiracy case which was extremely rare because the entire evidence relating to the conspiracy was presented to the jury, almost always impossible.
Yes, the prosecution was ridiculous and a waste of time, but I am guessing most people had not the faintest idea what this case was really about.
A perfect example of what the Democratic Party leaders are willing to do to any American. They control enough of the “justice” system to be a major threat to the American people. They know the average American can no long afford justice… A simple speeding ticket includes an appearance in court, paying a “court cost”, paying a fine and paying the cost increase for your car insurance. That’s not justice that’s a ripoff…
