Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

An email I just received from my chicken farmer here in Florida:
On June 13 we discovered what appeared to be some massive changes to the rules governing small poultry farmers here in Florida.
A notice of proposed rule change from the Florida Department of Agriculture (FDACS) was published containing several changes that seriously jeopardize our ability to continue raising and selling pastured poultry. These proposed changes not only infringe on our rights, but also present serious health and safety concerns from the chosen terminology within the proposed rule.
They are proposing a significant change to the definition of “dressed poultry” for small poultry farm producers. Under Notice 29655730, FDACS would now mandate that poultry be sold with the head, feet, and internal organs intact. This marks a major change from the previous standard, which permitted the sale of whole birds with the head, organs and feet removed.
This potential change set off alarm bells with the appearance of being fast tracked after moving from development to proposed in just 24 hours.
We immediately requested and were granted a hearing with FDACS last week to share our concerns publicly. During the public hearing on June 26, we were able to speak to these issues directly with FDACS, and also provide federal documentation and evidence supporting our position.
Currently, tens of thousands of farms all over the United States process under a Federal Poultry Exemption that was passed in 1968, and to date 44 states have adopted that exemption, including Florida who disbanded their meat inspection program in 1997, handing that authority over to the USDA. Under this federal law, we are permitted as US Citizens to raise, harvest, and further process, up to 20,000 birds per year. We simply want the state of Florida to abide by their own statutory adoption of Federal Laws.
We consider these additional rules being added to Floridian farmers a dangerous over step of authority by FDACS, and would like to request that all Florida poultry consumers, farmers, and other concerned parties submit a comment to that effect. Our ask is simple, FDACs should fully adopt the federal PL90 law and let the USDA FSIS do their job, as they have the knowledge and authority over this rule.

To Whom It May Concern,
I’m writing to inform you of my concern regarding Notice 29655730 with its proposed changes affecting my small poultry farmers and how this will negatively affect how me and my family purchase and consume poultry products. We only wish to eat through our local small farmer. Please reconsider this proposal.
Thank you,
Concerned citizen

Can you tell me where in all of those references on the page to which you link it says that about leaving on the heads and feet and not gutting the animal?
Good evening my friends,
A little escape video. Nice bit of underwater photography in a spot or two.
CCR!
Excellent
I’ve never been a religious person. Parents sent me to vacation bible school, mom was politely asked to not bring me back, asked too many questions, lol. Posted a prayer request for my mom in-law a couple of years ago, and one for a dear friend last year. Both doing well now. Can’t explain it, still trying to wrap my mind around it. All I can say is there is tremendous power in prayer. Prayers for Dutchman.
From a Son of the American Revolutionary War to you my friends.
Now they’ve got it.
✝️ Lord, thank You for the day. Amen.
