It’s gobbledygook for “Give me your tax money and I put in my pocket, thank you very much.”
In a nutshell.
CHIRLA – the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights which is now at the center of L.A.’s anti-ICE protests and chaos, reportedly pulled in $34 million in public funds in fiscal year 2023. That’s nearly 3x more than the year before.
Even wilder? 72% of that money came directly from the California Department of Social Services. That’s your tax dollars going straight into an org organizing street-level mobilizations.
CHIRLA also runs L.A.’s “Rapid Response Network,” which shows up at ICE arrests, rallies outside detention centers, and was active during the incident involving SEIU’s David Huerta, who was arrested for obstruction.
In 2023, Mayor Karen Bass helped CHIRLA land a $450K federal contract but that deal got frozen by DHS, triggered a lawsuit, and was ultimately canceled.
So while L.A. burns and protests rage, the money trail leads right back to state coffers and a policy pipeline that’s now under serious scrutiny.
Those whacky Billionaire Oligarchs keep messing everything up for the rest of us.

Walmart heiress Christy Walton, one of the richest women in America, has joined a small group of billionaires speaking out against President Donald Trump.
The 76-year-old Walton, who is worth an estimated $19.3 billion according to Forbes, paid to take out a full-page advertisement in The New York Times on Sunday calling on readers to “mobilize” on Saturday, June 14. The advertisement appears to be an escalation of one she paid for in March, also in The Times print edition.
At the top of the ad are the words “No Kings,” which appear to reference a political organization that’s coordinating hundreds of anti-Trump protests across the U.S. this Saturday, June 14, the same day Trump is slated to host a military parade in Washington, D.C.. Organizers of the counter-protests told Axios they are expecting this to be the largest single-day rally since the start of the administration. No Kings spokesperson Andrew Cook told Forbes there will be more than 1,800 events across the country. (The group is not planning a protest in D.C. as part of their plan to “make action everywhere else.”)
“In America, we don’t do kings,” reads the No Kings website. “They’ve defied our courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights, and slashed our services.”

I always find it funny how these megacorp owners pay for the destruction of their own base. They have enough funds to outlast any of us, but they want less of us. They turn us on each other while they get richer and richer.
Unfortunately, many employees there will suffer negative consequences, but since Sam Walton died, they have been slowly putting themselves on their knees in front of China.
What breaks my heart about this is that her husband, John T. Walton — from whom she inherited her wealth — was a decorated war hero. Despite his family’s wealth, John Walton enlisted in the army after the Tet Offensive and went on to serve with Special Forces during which he was a member of MACV SOG, participating in extremely dangerous operations in Laos. He is highly respected in that community, and I sincerely doubt he would approve. The members of MACV SOG I read and listen to (SOGCast podcast) hate commies with a passion.

Obviously, Trump is going to have to “hit hard and fast, and nationwide,” against this latest attempt to foment “insurrection” simultaneously throughout the country. An attempt to take things to this level now constitutes an attack against the United States at large – originating from within the gates.
I have no doubt that he won’t repeat 2020. He knows!

How to explain? The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs (Caine), hand picked by Trump, is a firm believer that Russia (Putin) will go after other countries when he is through with Ukraine. WTH?

Notice how this POS doesn’t mention that Mexico gained its independence from Spain in 1821 and the U.S. acquired it in 1846. So this area has been a part of the U.S. way longer than it ever was “Mexican” territory.
