U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer rejected California Governor Gavin Newsom’s emergency ruling request for a temporary restraining order to stop the Trump administration from deploying military personnel to support the enforcement of immigration law in California.
Judge Charles Breyer granted the Trump administration’s request for more time to respond to the governor’s filing. The federal government has until 2 p.m. ET Wednesday to file its response. Breyer noted the state will have an opportunity to file its opposition ahead of a scheduled Thursday hearing.
While the initial ruling was against the political interests of Governor Newsom, do not look for this ruling to predict further action by the judge. District Judge Charles Breyer is former Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer’s brother.

If this goes against PDJT, immediately have the 9th circuit stay breyer’s decision or ignore it. I would think the judge has no jurisdiction to tell the executive when there is rioting and causing destruction to remove federal troops. The feds are there to protect federal property and other federal LEOs from the crazies.
Here’s the law, not that it matters to these judges:
10 USC §252. Use of militia and armed forces to enforce Federal authority Whenever the President considers that unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages, or rebellion against the authority of the United States, make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States in any State by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings, he may call into Federal service such of the militia of any State, and use such of the armed forces, as he considers necessary to enforce those laws or to suppress the rebellion.
Would be helpful to also cite 254:
“Whenever the President considers it necessary to use the militia or the armed forces under this chapter, he shall, by proclamation, immediately order the insurgents to disperse and retire peaceably to their abodes within a limited time.”

Very liberal Justice Breyer retired from SCOTUS just weeks after the Dobbs decision overturning Roe v Wade was illegally leaked to the media. I hope he and his staff are included in the current FBI investigation regarding the release. He was always my pick since he had nothing to lose.
I assume the Federal Judge is in a Federal Courthouse in a Federal Building. Is it in L.A.? If so, he may well prefer the presence of Federalized National Guard troops and Marines for himself and his staff.

Isn’t Antifa and the rest of these thugs all planning another whole day of rioting etc on Saturday, June 14? They are calling it No Kings day or something. So they probably don’t want any decision just yet anyways. They want to keep doing what they’re doing all the way through at least Saturday so they might be able to provoke something to blame Trump for. They probably do not want the judge calling away the federal action too soon because then Newsome et al would get the media blame for anything that might happen. A decision next week would work just fine for all these scum and Newsome is probably happy for the delay, no matter what he might otherwise say.

I’m in a high-rise at a major downtown intersection right by the Federal Building with a little grassy triangle park that’s Ground Zero for these nationwide commie protests (they don’t progress to riots here, this is Hawaii and there’s a certain laid-back that pervades local society)

I’m the exact opposite, living in the forest behind Communist lines in Oregon. On Saturday I’ll be playing Army marching music and the Ballad of the Green Berets over my PA system which echoes quite nicely throughout the canyon. I love sound reinforcement equipment, bigly.
Unfortunately, it seems many of the Communists from Portland and Salem aren’t visiting their vacation compounds as often as in the past but I am hopeful they will be here this weekend. I live for messing with Communists. Nothing quite like being an old guy who doesn’t care if he lives or dies.

LAPD is an embarrassment… full stop. As someone, somewhere once said, this ain’t goin’ down in Florida (although it was attempted). Just as few have heard about the Palestinian protests at Univ of South Florida. Why? It was squashed in 15 minutes.
This is the USA we live in today. The right and obvious decision was issued by the court but at the same time, I’m actually surprised.
We’re NOT supposed to be surprised when the right decision is made. I had the same reaction when Roe v Wade was reversed and left to the states. It was right and it was surprising.
I think the level of judicial capture in the USA is vastly understated though. Someone here posted a link to a youtube video which explained it very clearly starting with the reason why the image of Justice has a sword — it’s the only branch of government with the power to kill. (I know that’s a weird thing to say until you unravel the entire meaning… and of course it gets even more complicated when Obama drones US citizens to death without any response to it.)
