Joe Biden’s USDA engaged in official oppression of landowners. Today, US Ag Secretary Brooke Rollins held a press conference to announce the dismissal of charges the US Forest Service under Biden had lodges against a young farming and ranching couple, the Maudes. The Forestry Service had them charged for attempted theft of federal land when they replaced a stretch of 50 y/o fencing along the existing footprint.
The oppression was especially bad in that the husband and wife were charged separately and slapped with gag orders so that they were not to speak with each other about the case. Seriously.
The Maudes (and the Bundys) are not unique as people who have been abused by federal bureaucrats. In response, the USDA has created a complaint portal. I’m posting it here in hopes that the word may get around to more of the people who might find this useful.
BTW, Rep Harriet Hageman spoke at the press availability and knocked it out of the park.

The Texas House of Representatives approved a bill Wednesday requiring political advertisements to include disclosures if the image, audio, or video recording used were substantially altered.
Former House Speaker Dade Phelan — who endured a barrage of political attacks last year during his reelection and speaker campaigns— said he authored the legislation to ensure voters understand when materials used in ads had been faked, as the use of generative artificial intelligence makes it easier to manipulate media that could use falsely represent a candidate’s conduct or speech.
“This is the beginning of a new era in ethics where the voters need to know what is real and what is not,” the Beaumont Republican said on the House floor. “This AI technology gets better every single day. It gets more inexpensive every single day, it’s going to become the norm.”
The bill would require the disclosure by officeholders, candidates or political committees who used altered media in ads and spend more than $100 for political advertising. It would task the Texas Ethics Commision with determining what the disclosure would look like, including font, size and color. Violators would be charged with a Class A misdemeanor.

One thing that you should bear in mind is that it takes time to prepare an indictment that will actually “stick.” That is, unless you want to take a “shortcut” and simply imprison a bunch of people for years without a trial. (“J6 Gulag.”)
If you want to follow the law, you are not allowed to reveal, nor to insinuate, that anyone has an indictment pending (or being considered), until it is secured and executed. Because: “everyone is ‘presumed innocent,'” and is entitled to live free of “suggestions” that might never actually be filed. Because those “suggestions” would well be devastating enough if coming from official places.

Hey James. Release it tomorrow before they catch up to you. Surprise them. Why do these ‘ tick tock’ like deals keep telling the enemy when and where things are going down. Stay silent and knock them over with a surprise release.
It makes it seem like it’s actually not much of anything when the enemy has time to react and counter the impact of any real compromising information. We have seen this kind of deal so many times before and most of them were a bust.
Done for money and fame or the real thing? Guess we will know in 7 days just like the enemy.
