I would add a caveat to this.
Jesus Christ existed on earth as both true man and true God. The Bible, I believe, reveals moments when He existed for the moment as man and moments when He existed as part of the triune God.
As part of the triune God, I believe, Jesus knew his death in human form was required and Judas was a necessary part of that end. On the other hand, I believe in human form, Jesus knew what was coming and reacted to his pending suffering and eventual death as any true man would with that knowledge. What is happening today is precisely the opposite of the Church’s true mission: the Hierarchy is only concerned with grabbing government funding for the management of “welcoming immigrants” at taxpayer expense or for the provision of morally unacceptable treatments in so-called Catholic hospitals, even including mutilation for gender transition. In America there are hundreds of nominally “Catholic” institutions that receive public money to provide services that are entirely incompatible with the Catholic Magisterium.

This is so deceptive “Catholic Charities” is not the Catholic Church. They are separate entities. I know this because my donation to Catholic Charities during the Haiti earthquake netted me spam so high requesting donations that the mail alone was above my waist line and far exceeded my donation in paper cost alone.
In order to get the mass mailings to stop I went to the Church who then sent me to Washington D.C. where I learned the organization wasn’t Catholic. It was a 503 (c) pass through.
Part of the Catholic Church’s mission is includes Charity to the poor and to serve those in need. This makes church’s and various Charities the natural target of manipulative wordsmithing.
