I think they could show more data/charts showing why a crackdown on trade balances and other wasteful and corrupt spending is necessary.
I was curious about the history and trends of our trade deficits. The year by year trade deficit chart I found had data from the early 1990’s to 2022. The deficits varied significantly from year to year, but the trend was higher and higher deficits. In the mid 1990’s it was less than $50B, the mid 2000’s it was in the $450B-&500B, in 2022 it was over $900B, in 2023 it was $840B.
So showing a chart with this steadily growing trade deficits, our $B’s to NATO, UN, our $B’s to Ukraine and other countries, our $B’s of spending corruption through USAID and NGO’s, $B’s of waste and fraud found by DOGE.
I think presenting this information and other information showing how our government is driving our country into bankruptcy might hit home with more people and realize the sense of urgency we are in.

Yes I think charts should be used more often. It’s very visual. They can often portray more complex issues in ways that can be both educational and revealing. For example: I would love to see a big flow chart showing the exfiltration of US taxpayer dollars to non-US citizens.

I was proud to stand for her when she became a naturalized US citizen. She was so proud to become an American and her US passport is her prized possession. She’s an ardent Trump supporter and bleeds MAGA. However, in order to travel to Russia to visit her mother, she must travel on her Russian passport. Russia does not recognize her US passport: born in Russia, always a Russian. Her US passport will get her into the US Embassy in Moscow, but it won’t get her home to the US from Russia. Can’t speak for other dual citizen arrangements, but my friend’s status is one forced upon her by her birth country.

Ukraine has agreed to accept a U.S. proposal for an immediate 30-day ceasefire and to take steps toward restoring a durable peace after Russia’s invasion, according to a joint U.S.-Ukraine statement on Tuesday.
The two sides, meeting in Saudi Arabia, also agreed to conclude as soon as possible a comprehensive agreement for developing Ukraine’s critical mineral resources, according to the statement.
In part, the joint statement read, “Ukraine expressed readiness to accept the U.S. proposal to enact an immediate, interim 30-day ceasefire, which can be extended by mutual agreement of the parties, and which is subject to acceptance and concurrent implementation by the Russian Federation.
The United States will communicate to Russia that Russian reciprocity is the key to achieving peace.”

The stock market is a function of cycles. there are cycles within cycles. There are long term 60+ year cycles and there are minute cycles. No president can determine cycles. At best the only President influence are merely blips in the market.
Beginning in June of last year the main manipulators; Black Rock, Vanguard and State Street (All Democrat CEO’s had motive to prop the stock market in support of the Biden administration.
Once Trump was elected the “manipulators had no motivation for “propping” the stock market and thus the beginning of an overdue Bear Market cycle.
The Biden administration left the United States in a disastrously mess probably the worse mess it has ever been. Don’t expect the mess to be solved overnight.
I am of the belief the stock market will be 50,000 and above by the time Trump leaves office. The present longer term Bear market cycle and Bear market cycles in between will be within an overall long term Bull Market especially Trumps final two years.
However, with the speed of lighting the Trump administration is moving the Bull Market cycle can very well begin sooner than Trumps final two years, IMO.
My opinion in no way is to be construed as “ADVICE”. To do so would be nothing but a disingenuous stretch of a fact. It is just my opinion as it is with everyone else’s opinion no more and no less.
