In the beginning of his remarks President Trump announces a significant investment of $20 billion in shipping and logistic infrastructure. The very first executive order suspends security clearances from the Perkins Coie law firm. A big part of the problem are sniveling RINO’s in the Senate like Moran, Graham and Collins now whining about VA employees being fired.
There was some memo going around suggesting 80,000 were to be fired, which is the amount added since Biden entered office.
These same Senators didn’t twitch much when veterans were dying while waiting on care under Obama/Biden, or when the VA decided to prioritize LGBTQ providing them whatever they demanded, including vaginal dialators, gaffs to hide their junk, fake breasts and hormone therapy.
There have been repeated complaints about not enough mental health care for those with PTSD, but the VA managed to assign at least one LGBTQ+ coordinator in every VA hospital in the country. Some have 2 assigned. Meanwhile, they only recently started listing contact information for Environmental Exposure Coordinators which are supposed to help Vietnam, Gulf War, Iraq and Afghanistan veterans. When contacted, they often sound like they never knew they were assigned such a role.

Retreating on firings needs to stop. It’s time Washington DC felt the sharp and enduring pain of RECESSION.
They could easily cut half the federal workforce and very little would change in this country.
The complaining from Graham specifically suggests he is miffed because he was not personally briefed, claiming he learned of the memo from the media.
If half of the federal workforce was fired, that would save only 2% of the overall federal budget.
So obviously, the stated reason for large-scale RIFs is disingenuous: They will not significantly reduce the federal budget.
What they will do is cause profoundly negative effects on a large scale, grossly outweighing the negligible budget benefit. (If it is true that the government performs functions necessary for society including defense.)
The government is not a commercial business. It is mostly normal (not superhuman) Americans completely bound up with red tape bureaucracy that they can’t change, and indiscriminate slashing will only increase chaos and dysfunction while destroying trust and morale. If you think these are good changes, then you will like the idea of the threat hanging over the government workforce at the moment. You may not like the dysfunction impacts that follow.

And even though I stake no claim to the following ethnicities, how about Greenlander/Kalaallit American Heritage Month, Panamanian American Heritage Month, and Judean/Samaritan American Heritage Month? 🙂

Why is this huge?
Many of these judges are LINKED to the nonprofits with an interest in thwarting Trump’s cuts.

I hope God who saved him, ensures Trump has the wisdom and the guidance to keep him on the best or right path.
He is a genius in many ways, he has the heart of a lion and the energy of a young man but he needs to occasionally hear cogent and wise advice from his Cabinet members. The changes he mentioned today indicate that this is occurring. He has a brilliant and experienced Cabinet and together they will succeed.
His intense desire to keep his MAGA promise to the millions of Americans he loves must be wisely directed and controlled. He has volunteered to take on a historic and unprecedented campaign and he is the only one that can accomplish it–with wise advice occassionally.
Boy did wishful thinking ever deceive me. I hadn’t seen extensive news on the “relaxed or delayed tariffs on Canada” when I commented above.

To me, it draws attention to recent observations that nearly all of Joe Biden’s signatures used the autopen, begging the question of who was actually running the country?
