boy, did we have a wind storm all day yesterday, that just ended a little bit ago!! it was blowing some pretty heavy objects over in my yard .. plus, 💔 .. it evidently blew a squirrel nest out of a tree, or maybe even just the babies , because i never found a nest on the ground .. but i found 2 babies out in the yard .. i could hear them squeaking outside the kitchen window right after it had gotten dark .. and just before the rain started..i am so mad at one of my cats . but i got the other one .. it’s inside the house in my room.. its tiny, eyes not open yet .. from pictures i looked at online, it looks like about 3 weeks old.. so… i hope i’ll be taking it to the wildlife sanctuary first thing in the morning.. it isn’t moving much, but everytime i peek at it…. it’s laying in a different position, and has curled up in a floursack towel i put in its box..

when i found him in the yard, it was like he was paralyzed with fear .. wasn’t moving a muscle, and one of my cats ( NOT the OTHER one 😡 )
was sitting right by it .. i think the cat had been carrying it in its mouth.. since it was away from the kitchen window, and next to the front steps.
and so i took him to the wildlife refuge, told the lady the situation.. they checked him out briefly, came back out and said “ he’s fine and in good hands… we have like 50 babies back there “ !!

I just wash them (nice ripe ones), cut up, and boil them down in a pot. The mixture becomes thickened on its own and is already pretty sweet. If I want it sweeter, I just add maple syrup. Also,you can add cinnamon or my favorite – ground cloves.
I refrigerate some, and freeze the rest. 😋
That sounds like a very thoughtful present – always good to have multiples. Interestingly, one of our large figs was downed in a storm and the other keeps producing on its own. All the best!

Israel Update:
-Blumberg Report: Putin agreed to help Trump and mediate a nuclear deal with Iran. Trump wants their program dismantled. Note: It also means that the military option is delayed.
-The Commander of Hamas in Jenin (terror capital in Judea and Samaria) was killed by an Israeli undercover force of the Border Police with Shabak (Spy agency).
-A Senior Hezbollah Commander of their elite Radwan Force was assassinated in South Lebanon. A drone strike.
-The IDF released some materials of internal Investigations on 10/7. Simply horrendous.
There were signs at night and the Military Intelligence decides to minimize it. For example Israeli SIM cards activated in Gaza, about 56 of them, just before the attack and other preparations. I can go on and on, but it will be too long. Basically some 700 armed people were left to fight 5,600 terrorists who came in waves. It took a half a day to move enough forces to change the situation. The South Command of the IDF collapsed and Operations of the IDF didn’t understand the picture of what is going on. Operations Chief announced yesterday that he is leaving the IDF. The new Chief of Staff asked him to stay an extra few months because it’s needed right now.
-There is a struggle in Israel between the Deep State and the opposition to the coalition as to who will perform the National Investigation. Deep State with Opposition to the government and media are pushing for a State Commission of Inquiry. This is topically appointed by the Leader of the Supreme Court who is a terrible left wing activist and political. They have direct involvement in the weakness of the war on terror pre 10/7. They will appoint judges and people who will find the government to blame and protect the Liberals who are involved. Bibi opposes it and demands a form that represents all of Israel and not just the left minority.
He is also considering agreeing to such Commission if he is involved in deciding which Judge will appoint the Commission. At this point it’s hard to know if we will ever know the full truth of what happened. We do already know a lot anyways but a good Investigation is a must.
-There was an Arab nations summit in Cairo. Egypt is proposing a plan for Gaza that involves the Palestinian Authority and external forces taking control of Gaza and a rebuilding of Gaza. The plan is intending to undermine the Trump plan of relocation.
Today a Senior Hamas person undermined this Egyptians plan and said that “under no circumstances will Hamas lay down their weapons”. Israel too rejected it.
The Saudis and UAE who are supposed to finance the reconstruction plan didn’t even show up. Who wants to rebuild the place that will keep attacking Israel and get destroyed again?
-Trump issued a statement that says that “any Collage or school and university involved in illegal protests will lose the funding, anyone involved in such protests will be deported or arrested and expelled from school”. This is mainly Pro Hamas / Palestine rioters.
-Bibi gave a strong speech in Parliament. Again committing to achieve all the goals of the war including defeating Hamas in Gaza. A strong warning to Hamas that if they don’t let go of the hostages “what will happen in Gaza is unimaginable”.
-A Palestinian with Israeli far left person won the Documentary Oscar award and used the stage to spit anti Israel propaganda and got applauses. The film is portraying the Israelis and IDF in the West Bank as a seriously oppressive force, etc… They “forgot” to ask any of the participants “if they wish to co-exist”. We know that they would say “no” which means they want to kill the Jews or expel them, we know that such statements practically means a genocide, a Holocaust. Basically Hollywood is in support of PalastiNazis.
If they wanted to co-exist we would have solved the problem long ago. I have to mention that many in Hollywood are Jews and I am ashamed of them. Steve Bannon correctly said a short while ago that “MAGA supports Israel and the biggest problem of Israel in the US is the Jewish American left.” I agree with Bannon.
The left in Israel in my opinion is also responsible for 10/7. I just watched an old video of a Supreme Justice in Israel proud of himself for blocking an IDF request to demolish 3000 Palestinian homes by the Gaza border in order to secure the border. Well, if we had a secure border the disaster would have been prevented. They also blocked the death penalty. With death penalty we wouldn’t have had a hostage crisis like now.
-The US Officially declared the Hoothies “a terror organization”. They were before and Biden removed them from the list.
-Israeli ex-Defense Minister Yoav Galant : “No one woke me up on 10/7”.
This means the same as to the Prime Minster. Criminal negligence.
-Hamas Senior says that they will not release any hostage without a complete deal that ends the war and leaves Hamas in power.
-Israeli Defense Minister: “If Hamas won’t release the hostages soon, the gates of Gaza will close and the gates of Hell will open. They will meet the IDF in powers and ways that were not seen before. Until for a complete defeat! we will never enable the Hamas to control Gaza.
-The Houthis said that they shot down a US UAV MQ9. First time they do this under Trump’s Presidency.
-One of the serious terrorists who were just released to Gaza was killed. This is the second one in the last week or so. The other one was in East Jerusalem. There may be some new policy about them in place. I will follow and let you know.

Thank you for your reports and accompanying analysis, David. What I would like to see is for every household in Israel to be armed and properly trained. If ever there was a fundamental reason for this—a well armed citizenry in Israel is more essential now than ever.
Here in America we fortunately have our 2nd Amendment which guarantees individual gun rights. It is valuable because an armed citizenry shares political power where an unarmed citizenry does not. That is why authoritarians and socialists all seek to limit or prohibit gun ownership. Here in the US there are over 400 million privately owned firearms. Well over 20 million AR pattern “assault rifles” means they would be very difficult to confiscate let alone ban. That’s real -political power sharing.
Just got a letter from the Gun Owner’s Of America which informs me of the sweeping success of “constitutional carry” or “permitless carry” laws being adopded by an increasing number of states. This is the shape of real power sharing.
I agree. But Israel needs a Constitution. Not just an 2nd Amendment. But it’s not realistic now because the Ultra-Ortodox Jews (14% of the population) and Arabs (20%) will block it. A constitution means that everyone will have equal duties and they all need to serve in the IDF. They mostly don’t as of now aside for a small % who volunteered.
Israel gave hundreds of thousands weapon licenses since 10/7. It used to be just a few thousands per year. But those are pistols not rifles. They already were used to stop some attacks. The towns in sensitive locations got now larger defense teams inside with more weapons, ARs and a Machine gun. But I agree with you overall.

1 Timothy 6:10 love of money the root of all evil. Love of money, all evil. Strong and definitive.
This verse is so big that we cannot see it in society. It encompasses all we know and it is the foundation of most all of our failures. We are the proverbial “ monkey caught with his hand in the jar”, we won’t let go.
If money and consequently power were not our “gods” we would endeavor to follow what God put in us to do. IMHO mothers probably are the closest to their potential and gifts, if they embrace motherhood. If not you cannot allow unchecked see the utter destruction it causes lives, almost bottomless. And, that is a perfect thumbnail of each of us, bottomless potential to cause harm out of our God given place.
Ego is created by us, who you are is created by God, find that person inside and life becomes Godly, righteous without fault. Does not mean we all take up feeding the homeless, that’s the ruse. Who you are does not follow man’s edicts of gather money, wealth, power, it follows Gods created talents and all is provided. Everyone is scared to death of that, Satan has us all living in a dark place where sight is almost impossible. We see his projection of reality not Gods. I’d even say any person who follows Gods place for your life will be more than rich. Not by this worlds standard but a standard of heaven, all needs met in abundance, and you are happy and content within, able to see and help others.
Why do I say this? Because man steps up to the edge of enlightenment and always turns to wealth over Gods way. Destruction is a guarantee with that in mind. History does not tell that story, but when you examine why society collapses with the written word of God and its history you can understand this. Simple, the religious leaders crucified Jesus for power they perceived to have. They knew who he was but greed was their lot. And yes, God knew they would, just like he knows Satan will lie, steal, kill, and destroy, but all works for Gods benefit simply put. God cannot lose he invented the game, owns the board and all the pieces. Why not follow his rules? All comes to ego! Satan saw himself not God, ego. Religious leaders saw themselves not God, the very one they claimed to represent.
So the sin, or separation we fret upon is usually not our issue it’s usually so much bigger. The only advice that I know remedies this is to step out of the boat, as Peter did. You will not die, you may sink, but you will find Jesus hand in faith.
And, the temptation of this world will always be at your throats, it never leaves you just master it or fail.

A time to love, and a time to hate,…. For one to love his friend, and to hate a man, a sinner, as the Targum; to love a friend while he continues such, and hate him, or less love him, when he proves treacherous and unfaithful; an instance of a change of love into hatred may be seen in the case of Amnon, 2 Samuel 13:15. A time of unregeneracy is a time of loving worldly lusts and sinful pleasures, the company of wicked men, and all carnal delights and recreations; and a time of conversion is a time to hate what was before loved, sin, and the conversion of sinners, the garment spotted with the flesh, the principles and practices, though not the persons, of ungodly men; and even to hate, that is, less love, the dearest friends and relations, in comparison of, or when in competition with, Christ; a time of war, and a time of peace; for nations to be engaged in war with each other, or to be at peace, which are continually revolving; and there is a time when there will be no more war. Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
