They are on the ground in NC and President Trump did a quickie presser with those on the ground at the airport. They got in the vehicles to drive away and then President Trump saw a group of citizens on the tarmac, stopped the vehicle, got out and went to talk with them. Melania too.
Shook hands, listened to their stories, signed a few hats and showed his appreciation, then telling them he was gonna’ get things done.
They are now at the first meeting with local officials and after that will go see some of the ravaged areas.
BTW, the President has put Michael Whatley in charge of overseeing this NC disaster recovery.
