Did you ever think in your lifetime you would see a Kennedy support a Republican candidate? Kennedy was very brave to take this on as he and his wife, actress Cheryl Hines, will be ostracized by his family, the media and the Democrats for the rest of their lives. This will be a very interesting and contested confirmation.
If nothing else, the left will try destroy him because he is a clear example of how nutty they have gotten.
Can’t have that daily reminder.
Did you ever think a nearly high ranking government official would go to an ‘Official Hispanic Inaugural Ball’ in the USA?? With high officials from around the world?? congregating at ‘an Official Hispanic Inaugural Ball?? in the USA.
Has he proved he’s R. instead of D. or the other way round; AND that he’s only after brownie points??
We are the democrats now.
“Did you ever think in your lifetime you would see a Kennedy support a Republican candidate? “
According to Nixon, Old Man Joe Kennedy contributed to Nixon’s Senate run. Nixon says (in one of those interviews he did with Frank Gannon) that JFK brought the check to Nixon’s office personally. Nixon always described his relations with JFK as cordial. It makes sense; the Kennedy were VERY anti-commie, and Nixon was the “it” guy after the Alger Hiss case.
Interesting that the guy Nixon picked as a potential Presidential candidate (our DJT) is teaming up with RFK Jr in a presidential term….there’s got to be some Providence in that! There’s something left of the old America yet.
This sort of thing has happened before.

Rest in the Vine: RFK and PDT: Unburdened by What Has Been
That was 76 years ago; so not in most American’s lifetime.
California Democrats have to deal with worse issues than DJT.
And they are the ones that have to answer for the fires.
The dude is a mole. He’ll leak to the NYT or Wapo…or both. Keep him at arm’s length at least.
Chill, man. As Reagan said “I didn’t leave the Democrat Party, it left me!”
You could have the same paranoid view of Trump . After all, he was a disaffected Democrat. too!
JFK and RFK would be treated as enemies of the radical leftist Democrats today.
Only today?
Which party contracted their demise?
Well, actually it was the Deep State, consisting of illegal and unconstitutional three letter agencies and their willing bureaucrat boot-lickers! Both parties were equally represented in being compromised by that bunch of goons and goombahs.
Great example of assimilation by an immigrant ethnic group. If you come here legally, love this country, and assimilate you are my brother and sister in this fight.
Sorry… I am so tired of seeing division inside of ‘unification’. Official ‘HISPANIC’ ball. Well then… might as well have an official ‘AFRICAN’ ball, official ‘ASIAN’ ball, ET AL ball. Where did “AMERICAN” go? How do you rally around so many variations. The answer is you don’t. Everybody wants to be unique, different, special. This is not what a ‘melting pot” produces.
A melting pot also respects the strength and variety of origins – so long as freedom and the American Constitution come first. And so long as there is a primary “ball for all”.
American culture in the 19th Century became richer as each European background added its strengths and flavors. Hispanics were part of the earliest origins, too.
Sorry… you are assigning distinctly humanistic traits to the “melting pot” concept. By virtue of submission to the melting pot one must necessarily relinquish their previous cultural identities. How can one be “fill in the blank” – American? That’s kind of like saying some where on this planet there is a “cow”- bull. To me, the choice is binary. You are either an American or you’re not. What positive purpose does a hyphenated-American serve? How does that promote unity? Just as iron ore loses it’s identity in the process of becoming iron so too must the hyphenated-American divorce themselves from their prior state.
Sorry…it was your “submission” purity test that inserted the hyphen here as a way of dividing MAGA. “Hispanics” as a group were essential in getting Trump elected and have earned the right to celebrate his inauguration as such, IMO.
I don’t recall anyone stating that they shouldn’t.
However, I am not German American and they
are not ,(for example), Mexican Americans.
My people came from Germany to become
American.
Therefore we are American, owing no
allegiance to Germany.
They can get onboard, or be taken back, imo.
Need to get that thru to the critters in congress with dual citizenship, which if reports are true, are mostly to one ME country.
Country with the largest dual citizenship in Congress? ISRAEL!!!
I would agree, get rid of all the Zionist Khazarian dualists!
Just a follow-up on this comment of yours….
” “Hispanics” as a group were essential in getting Trump elected and have earned the right to celebrate his inauguration as such, IMO.”
Hispanics, as a group, can not legally vote in Federal U.S. elections – only American citizens are afforded that privilege. Just so we are clear on that matter.
Don’t you have some Klan robes to wash and iron before tomorrow, Mr Know Nothing?
Nice, if a bit too obvious ad hominem.
Do you have a cogent point of discussion?
You keep your culture of origin inside your household.
You teach your children their heritage at home.
When outside, you honor the nation.
So honoring America as a group, outside their home, by way of celebrating the inauguration of the POTUS they as a group are proud to have helped elect, is not “American” in your “America.”
When I asked my grandmother to repeat something she said in Russian, she said no Russian – English; you tell me.
Years later she said you speak English without accent! I love.
My neighborhood was made up of many languages striving to speak English without an accent. They wouldn’t teach us theirs.
God Help US
Signs all over the place in Spanish, separations in schools because of language, and getting a drivers license without speaking English, are not to my liking; it goes against everything I learned as a child from true immigrants becoming American.
Full of Bovine scat, this one is!
I’ll wager my ancestors were here making something of this country in 1775, well before his ancestors were thrown out of where ever!
It’s an inaugural ball organized by a private group. They can call it whatever they want. But to your point – The White Nationalist Christian Inaugural Ball probably wouldn’t get the same respect.
“It’s an inaugural ball organized by a private group. They can call it whatever they want.”
As is the American way – not the Hispanic – American way…
Then define YOUR “American.”
Sure… It’s someone who identifies solely as an American. If you view how the hyphenated-American is presented. The “hyphenated” precedes “American” strongly suggesting priority. First I am a “hyphenated” whatever then I am American – secondly. Scoff at the concept if you want to but semantics matter. In the very least ‘American’ should be promoted first as in American-Hispanic. As it is ‘Hispanic – American suggest: First and foremost I am Hispanic, then I am American. Even that suggest a divided allegiance.
Synecdoche and abstract “identifies as” don’t cut it as definition.
Also, as already stated, there was no “Hispanic-American” hyphenization in the inaugural ball’s name, reflecting its intention, nor in its expression from the evidence presented here.
Yup… there was absolutely no “American” in describing said ball. Wonder why they didn’t hold it in “Hispanica”.
I understand what they were attempting to convey – I get it. Just doesn’t work for me.
And as is the American way, you are entitled to your opinion, and I respect that. I do understand your argument. But as is also the American way I’m entitled to my opinion while disagreeing with yours.
Then kindly explain RFK’s assertion that Hispanic-Americans work harder than anyone else.
I’m interested in the answer to that question. Not all interested in ad hominems or straw man arguments.
Exactly.
Identify as a 🦍 for all I care!
Vote MAGA.
Support MAGA.

I see a few folks posting above who would differ with you on that!
My grandpa was Scottish.
My grandma was Irish.
My other grandpa was English.
My other grandma was German.
Which ball do I attend?
Euroball.
Hey! Back off, Sylvester!!! My wife’s of Polish heritage and she takes great pride in that! My grandfather was German and I take pride in that!
We all came from someplace; nothing wrong showing some ethnic pride, while still being MORE American that the likes of YOU!
There is nothing wrong with being proud of your heritage except when you make that heritage the most important. America is a melting pot of all races but, until we all realize that one is no better than the other, will we get along. I think many are realizing that and are trying to forget being better and accepting just a difference.
The term “Hispanic” is an invented word designed from its origin to create ethnic separation. In reality there are no “hispanics.” There are Americans, Mexicans, Guatemalans, Argentinians, Cubans, etc.
“The widespread use of the term “Hispanic” began in the U.S. in the 1970s when the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF) and other organizations lobbied the federal government to have their community included in the U.S. Census as a distinct ethnic category. Up until that moment, all Hispanics and Latinos had simply been counted as white on the Census, along with all other Americans of European ancestry. This status quo, the activists argued, posed immense problems for their communities due to the impact of Census data on the allocation of federal funds and the drawing of legislative districts. Following the mobilization of MALDEF and their contemporaries in 1976, Public Law 94-311 was passed, mandating the collection of data about “Hispanics” which the law defined as “Americans who identify themselves as being of Spanish-speaking background and trace their origin or descent from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Central and South America, and other Spanish-speaking countries.” The full Census conducted in 1980 would collect information on U.S. Hispanics for the first time.”

Some here seem to think I’m trying to denigrate some particular ethnic group. That is not the case, in the least. What I was trying to point out here, and your post exemplifies my point perfectly, is that if you start treating groups of people differently because, whatever, you are casting the seed of division within that larger group. We’re going to treat Hispanic-Americans differently because… We’re going to treat African-Americans differently because… So you end up treating sub-groups within the main group differently. And that promotes unity how? Intent is totally irrelevant.
I think he has a long held and righteous opposition to big pharma and the types like Fouci.
I also think that covid may have played a part, in that it was Maga oriented people who most resisted the jab and all that went with it.
In my view, and I may well be wrong, he saw the Maga train was heading towards his destination and he got onboard.
Would he risk his goal by straying from his specialty subject?
What is RFK Jr’s goal?
Helping to steer focus away from the gravely harmful jab and the even more harmful versions on the way?
(Replicon shots are coming)
Because that’s what he’s doing – apparently his “specialty” now.
No risk of straying there. Fully on track.
Seriously?? ‘The Hispanic Inaugural Ball’……..The Black Caucus……..separation is not part of US. IMHO
God Help US.
Seriously, apples and oranges: Comparing an identity-sponsored event celebrating a non-member candidate’s inauguration to an identity-focused political organization?
This man is bringing truth I did not have the statics on…. amazing how unhealthy we have become in the wealthiest country in the world? I have worked in health care for almost a half century. It’s that old thing about turning up the heat slowly on the frog in the water – we really need to be woke up on this one. And jump out of the boiling water. And the children????? No! Let’s help them to get healthy again. It’s simple, but we have to go against bad habit addictions – fresh air, sunshine, exercise, good, pure food, lots of love – very limited screen time. Technology is a tool to be used to make our lives better – not to control us. Bring it on, Sir. MAHA.
He’s working on a direct to consumer TV advertising BAN on Pharma. Make MSM honest again. I’m skeptical, but hopeful.
I thought the presidential inauguration was an American event.
I really dislike the assertions that any ethnic community works harder than another. It smells of pandering & an attitude of supremacy.
I’m also 100% against hyphenated Americans. We’re Americans or we’re not.
I’m for making all Americans healthy again because none of us are more worthy than all of us.
RFK will be on the best choices in a long long time. Our health is a massive crisis and having someone as unapologetically determined and blunt as he is will be a game changer.
