Previously, Donald Trump Jr discussed how he organized and coached his father Donald Trump to enlist JD Vance as the Vice-President nominee on the 2024 ticket. However, it appears Donald Trump Jr did much more than just recruit and select JD Vance to be his fathers’ running mate.
In a podcast interview with Sean Kelly, Donald Trump Jr outlines how he personally “worked on it for several months” eventually making contact with Robert F Kennedy Jr, then negotiating and organizing the Kennedy group to join with candidate Donald Trump in 2024.
According to President Trump’s eldest son, it was he who organized everything surrounding RFK Jr and Tulsi Gabbard joining the Trump team. As Don Jr noted, he anticipated RFK Jr doing better than anyone “I could put at HHS.” Quite a remarkable accomplishment. WATCH (prompted):

I see a lot of people jumping on the dissing of JR bandwagon. I think it’s his appearance that makes me feel uncomfortable. Don’t like the beard, don’t like when he slicks his hair back. He SEEMS like a player. Being a Jr can also create its own burden—maybe that’s why he tries so hard too.
I also believe he does try to hard and wants to take credit for things. But, sometimes YOU do need to take credit for things. He’s also lived in a LARGE shadow and it’s not easy to create your own space.
I’m not one that thinks he’s stupid or dull, quite the contrary. He speaks fast and has a command of the facts. He speaks extemporaneously very well, just like his father. He has a wide breathe of knowledge.
As far as his ex-wife Vanessa, it seems by all accounts they get along well and are raising their children well. The “socialite” he’s dating is supposedly one of his ex-wife’s best friends. While that in itself also seems cringeworthy, I’ve read where the ex-wife may have had a hand in it. Again, I feel, to a certain extent, private life should be private.
As far as RFK Jr, I think that can be a good pick. Just as DJT told him, stay in your lane—fix healthcare AND stay away from climate change. I think RFK Jr has a vast knowledge of the healthcare system and his heart is in the right place. If he decides to stray, DJT won’t have a problem with pulling the leash—or firing him, if it becomes necessary.
We will get to see how good Don Jr’s instincts are in real time. I wasn’t a JD fan but he has seemed to be a staunch supporter. I think that he could be real. He jumps in and explains and defends DJT very strongly—unlike the patsy pence. Could JD be another plant? Maybe. But it clearly looks and feels different. Time will tell.
It’s simple. Don, Jr isn’t that bright. Just listen to him. Eric comes across much better. But hey, Jr is wealthy.

I did listen to him and I have been listening to him. I do think he’s bright. I think DJT does trust in Jr to be out there. Eric is bright as well, he’s running the company in the family absence. I don’t think (think, operative word, could be wrong) Eric isn’t as much of a fighter as Jr. I believe that is why each have been chosen for their respective roles.

Trump tried to walk the statement back by saying that Trump had not yet made a final pick, but the press ran with Pence’s headline and made it impossible to retract. Pence knew that he was one and done as governor and had run himself out of congress. So, if he was to continue in politics, it was this or dog catcher.

I wasn’t a big fan of JD and wasn’t a big fan of him being VP. This was based upon his negative statements about DJT years ago.
I’m now cautiously optimistic now. From the things I’ve seen and read, JD is very bright. He has a good understanding of Trump MAGA policies. He not only understands them, he vigorously defends them—and Trump. Now, he might just be a very good actor, and the very best Judas or Brutus, time will tell. To me, when he vigorously and diligently defends Trump and MAGA, that can be hard to fake. You NEVER saw Pence like that. He did defend it, but in the most milk toast way.
If JD is putting on an act, like I said, it’s a good act. Plus, at some point, if he tells those lies vigorously enough, maybe he’ll just start to believe it.
JD is no Trump, I agree. But, there isn’t another Trump. He’s unique. So, that’s a fallacy to make that comparison. But, if he’s 80% of Trump, that might be good enough. As always, time will tell.

I worry about the fact that JD was mentored by Peter Thiele who co-founded Palantir, a company heavily involved in combining surveillance technology, AI and facial recognition software. I fear that Musk, Thiele and the other tech giants who have infiltrated Trump’s transition team are doing so to leverage their relationship with Trump and role in his administration to implement an even more intrusive surveillance state on behalf of the globalists. Peter Thiele and the CEO of Palantir, Alex Karp, are both on the board of the Bilderberg Group. This greatly concerns me.

I can understand and appreciate your concern. What you seem to fail to appreciate is that DJT isn’t an outsider any longer. As I’ve always said, the biggest mistake the uniparty made was stealing the election from him in 2020. They had systems and plants in place to hem him in and limit his effectiveness. And yet he was still very effective.
Now, he’s had 4 more years to get to know people. See who people really are. Get a few more true conservative and MAGA supporters elected—and bring in a clean slate of appointees. But one of the biggest differences is that there are FAR more everyday people, like union people, like Hispanics and blacks supporting him. They now understand MAGA better. They will help put pressure on these uniparty and RINOs.
So do you suggest he NOT have any powerful, rich, successful people being his allies? Do you think he should just appoint hundreds of me and you that are unknown nobodies with zero clout but are 98% MAGA? Trump knows he’s got to make some appointments that he may need to hold his nose a bit. But, he’s no rube. He’s dealt with people in business that also have their interests. So it’s a negotiation and balancing act.
DJT though, isn’t afraid to call people out and bring pressure to them. And if necessary, ultimately fire them. My trust, and yours, should be implicit with DJT. I’m sure I’ll be disappointed with some picks and some actions of some picks. But realize, we only know 1/100 of what’s going on and all the things behind the scenes and the ways the uniparty is trying to thwart him. I believe he is doing 100% the best he can and the best in our country’s interests.

Because Thiel had the COURAGE to agree to openly back DJT in mid 2016, he was viciously attacked; attacks that continue to this day, with varying degrees of success.
