In my comments on other postings herein – I speak about the “no go” parent zone and strange autonomous behavior of our local school systems. Well, they also want full control over our students health and have “full service clinics” on site for all their needs. You can’t even sign a Future Farmers of America form without giving full consent to allowing them to treat your student, using their appointed doctors, for WHATEVER ailments they determine to treat for… physical or mental… with or without parental consent… and also completely releasing them from liability.
Well, that form wasn’t getting signed.
How many parents DON’T READ THE FORMS?
They’ll administer “vaccines” in whatever way they choose and in the local high school… the full vaccine record is displayed on the students’ transcripts in clear violation of HIPPA and they will not remove it. They. Will. Not.
Do you think institutions of higher education might use that vaccine record to discriminate entrance of students who didn’t comply? Bet your tail side.

It’s very similar to Disney nullifying a parent’s rights just from accepting the terms and conditions from a Disney+ membership. Indemnification is key to the loopholes they use to avoid prosecution and persecution.
With kiddo’s registration docs – being on uneditable Google docs, so a parent could not modify any of the terms – I used all the USER DEFINED fields I could to add EXCEPTIONS. If it was on there ANYWHERE… the exception was in play. Though they got reckless and began to IGNORE the exceptions… even protected religious ones.

It is currently sunny and 20 deg. F at my central Indiana home. Got down to 15 deg. F early this morning. Now that we have had a couple nights of hard freezes I am going to fill my inside log rack and build a fire in the fireplace insert. Not supposed to warm up much for several days.
S0 today is the day I find out if the money I paid to have a large return vent put in the ceiling over the insert will pay off and allow me to heat the whole house using the insert just by running the furnace fan. I certainly will be able to shut turn out the mini split that heats the sun room since the wide open entrance to the sun room comes off the living room right by the fireplace. So any way it works burning wood is going to provide savings on both the electric and gas bills.

Patience, the burner with the bottle is a perfect setup for a smaller still, say 18 gallons or so. 🥃
For over 20 years we have supplied the Turkey for the Family get together. This was the last year. Time for the youngsters to take over. Since we were supplying he Turkey and it was always 22lb or more, it had to be done in the oven. Next year I’m buying a 12-13 lb. bird and going to deep fry it. Don’t have and engine lift though. But I’ll manage I’m sure.
Did some grocery shopping then came home and hauled the wood in to fill the inside wood rack. Not going to fire up the insert until early tomorrow morning when it’s colder outside.
I also filled the feeders for the flying pigs. This time of year as things get colder the consumption goes up considerably despite the fact that the birds that migrate have taken off. I just filled the 8 lb. feeder and put two new seed blocks out Tuesday but today I had to put out another seed block and refill the 8 lb feeder because it was nearly empty.
As I write this Sherry is making Turkey and noodles for dinner. Since I’ve been up since 03:00 I’m pretty sure that once my belly is full I’ll be done for the day and it will take no time before I’m inspecting the inside of my eyelids.
Monday I will be ordering one of these for my new concealed carry firearm except the one I’m buying has a thumb safety:

I’ve posted a bunch of “serious” today – going to back off posting. I am finding the less time I spend on media, the better. Tired of the passive/aggressive snark, but it’s to be expected in this day and age. God knows it all.
The battle here is hot and heavy. We are dealing with big matters here and are quite busy and sleep deprived. I am grateful for the cracks in the nonsensical narratives appearing, but I grieve terribly for our children and the “social experiments” being performed on them so maliciously. It is diabolical and satanic.
I will never stay silent. I will never shut up. I will never “keep calm and carry on”. Nope. Not when it comes to our kids. Our kids deserve to be protected. They deserve our advocacy. God counts every tear they cry and every hair on their head and whoa to those who would harm children… either intentionally or by leaving them to their own devices. As a community, we must do better by them and demand reform! We need to get back to holding people accountable for doing their jobs and protecting the peoples’ trust that should legitimately fall on and be demanded of them.

Many many years ago. One of our kitties (a beautiful ginger named Chester, I think) ate a hole out of the raw Thanksgiving turkey that had been left unattended on the counter. Mom was crying, so Dad and I cut out the offending portion, roasted the darn thing, and told everyone we hadn’t been able to wait. One of my early lessons in – don’t sweat the small stuff……and, keep an eye on your kitties at all times!
Lol. Got up one Thanksgiving morning to find paw prints across one pumpkin pie and a third of the second one gone. Frog, our beautiful ginger tabby Persian was the culprit. Never leave pies out to cool unattended 😸😹

Well….2 years after we moved to the rural county in MD where we’ve lived since 1978, we bought a house and moved to a different area in the same region of that county. Within a week or two, my stay-at-home wife answered the door one day to be greeted by two men who proceeded to invite her and me (I was at work) to a Klan meeting down in a nearby hollow – cross burning and the whole thing. That was our welcome wagon, I guess.
With our two munchkins at her side she very politely declined, using the kids as her reason for not going out at night. She was shocked to say the least. She and I had both been raised in and right outside of Baltimore City so mixed race classes in school from 1958 onward were normal for us and we both had friends & neighbors who were black or jewish. The rural county was still about 20 years behind, socially, when we first moved out there.
We never found out for sure why we were approached except the local farmer whose former land our house was built upon – and with whom we got along very well, although racial issues had never been raised- may have thought we were ‘kindred’ spirits with the good ol’ boys in that area. It was quite a rude awakening to the fact that they still existed in our area. But within a few years we read local news accounts of several good ol ‘boys being arrested for crimes against some local black folks who lived in the same zipcode. That seemed to be the end of the local klan.
The KKK had a resurgence across the country in the 1910s and in the 1920s, especially.
My family was driven from their farm in a particular state in the North by pressure and activities of the local KKK.
I learned through detailed and verifiable historical research that membership in the local KKK back then routinely overlapped with membership in the local Masonic Lodges.
Strange and a dark background for some in America.
I must say this, though. over the past 10 years I have read countless ad hominem attacks on Masons, claiming them to be essentilly satanic, evil, and racially bigoted….or worse.
The huge problem I have with that narrative is that my own father, grandfather, uncle and great uncle were all Masons, two were 33rd degree Scottish Rite, and two were some mid=level degree in the York Rite. I could not find more decent, God-fearing and loving, responsible men if I tried.
I was indirectly associated with the local Masonic Lodge in my town where I came of age, as a member of DeMolay. I never personally met any Mason in or local Lodge or in the Boumi Temple in Baltimore who seemed to be “off”, or of questionable character. I knew many of the families and attended school with their children.
These tales of evil Masons just don’t hold water for the Masons I knew. I cannot speak for others outside of my hometown. But it seems strange that there wasn’t even a gray area or questionable situation with any of the men in the local lodge in my village.
During that time, early 1900s, there was also a great deal of Anarchist terrorism. Research the histories of Alexander Berkman and Luigi Galleani. Then you may begin to understand why underground neighborhood associations formed to try and protect their neighborhoods. All the tribalism goes against American ideals; but massive immigration, while mostly benign, also featured criminal violence that terrified people, and raised defenses. I understand, my own great grandparents also suffered because of anti-immigrant agitation. The “nativist” sentiment did not happen out of the blue, though.

Remember those big plastic balls that people get inside and they step up and roll the ball over and over on the lake or in a yard?
Well, Maggie Moo has a new trick to express her disapproval with her incarceration while she convalesces from spay surgery.
She’s taken up rolling her mini pop up tent to and fro all over the apartment. She took off from the living room into our kitchen. I have a video but sadly can’t post it here. She’s such a goof!
We have big kennel enclosures and these small portable ones so they can stay close to us. They’re really bonded, so keeping them quarantined is next to impossible.
So much for keeping them “calm” and preventing them from “jumping around”…. riiiiiight.
We keep careful watch so they don’t mess with each other’s sutures… but I’m thinking we won’t be doing two surgeries at the same time again. It’s a bit much and makes for some long nights.
Ten days of this makes for the patience and endurance of Methuselah.
We take the ecollars off to eat and for them to stretch themselves a bit… but back on they go most of the time. They don’t really fight it much… but they’re keen on showing us whose”boss” around here. (It’s them… especially at 330 AM)

I wish we could alter their “restrictions”, but little Maggie is a wee bit too sly and thus we are standing firm with the rules. I’m afraid she’d take that inflatable collar, deflate it, rerig it into a parachute, and use her talons to pick the lock and plan her escape!!!
As it is with the rigid version, the girls have learned to contort themselves to cleanse their paws with ecollars on… they can get within three inches of their sutures, so we can’t give anymore freedom… and when the collars are off to feed, we allow them some bathing time as long as they leave their nether region alone and don’t go for each other.
They’ve already been so NAUGHTY. Maggie is just shy of 6 lbs, so still looks very small and kitten like. She seems so “innocent”. Nope! She’s sly as a fox and looks at us with “knowing eyes” planning her next Houdini move.
We continue this rigmarole until Wednesday. Send tequila. LOL
Oh yay, only few more days. You’ll get thru! I can send you some nice apple pie moonshine or butter pecan hard cider to take the edge off quicker than tequila.

A rotten to the core administration and I pray some letters I wrote to the incoming Mike Braun administration will matter. I’ve been communicating with them for three years and carefully recording everything. What you see on these youtube videos… is just the tip of the iceberg. The issues are terrible and run deep… not just with the current Principal.
Betsy Wiley is part of Braun’s transition team (former Mitch Daniels administration) and she’s the head of the Hoosiers for Quality Education. I worked with her organization as a member of the Parent Advisory Board for the Institute for Quality Education… political lobbyists and community awareness groups for school choice in Indiana.
Please please… pray for ALL of our kids and the desperately needed reform of all our schools.

I’m tired of my community being a proving ground for liberal nonsense. It is embarassing and deeply disturbing for our schools to go viral like this. Our children deserve better and they deserve an administration that is focused on solid academics and teaching our children to critically think and be good citizens.
The schools are acting like their are autonomous no-go zones for parents with their own police departments, own laws, and lawlessness. Too many predators there… and they don’t even hide it. They poke fun at the killing of legislation in our State House that would protect our kids. The Superintendents Union is a strong force in the manipulation of our legislators. I got this first hand from Superintendent Milleman who is nothing short of demonic.
We had ongoing issues with the following:
My daughter, Savannah (last name redacted), has special learning needs and is supposed to be protected under Article 7. That protection was not given to her, and she left the school fearful, her confidence shaken, and severe learning gaps existing that adversely affect her ability to continue her collegiate pursuits. Additionally, if the school is altering grades of students, that adversely affects their GPA… is the school purposefully thwarting her efforts to continue her education? Why are they not giving me access to her school work, so that I could hire targeted tutors to give her help.
I highly recommend the following COURSE OF ACTION:
An PLAN OF ACTION needs to take place to offer students the ability to retake educational courses to help remedy deficits caused by COVID and a malfunctioning and negligent school system. We need to help our kids because the teachers and administration… were not helping them. They were harming them. Anyone who knew about this and did nothing, and sounded no alarm, are 100% complicit in the failures of the school system.
Proof that my daughter’s grades were manipulated and altered AFTER she left the school corporation. She was removed in June 2024, in August I received a notification her grade from SPRING 2024 were being changed. By the teacher who persecuted her (she was her Spanish teacher and also her coach on the social studies academic team).
When I asked administration about it… they refused to answer and are completely non-responsive. My notifications have been turned off and I’ve no access to see if anything else was manipulated.
God WILL have His Way with these people… no doubt. That which is whispered in the dark, will be revealed by The Light.
God wins… always… and the will never thwart His Intentions for my daughter.

As a single parent – meaning an UNO, not a marital status – it is easy to be isolated and give up. The school system is isolating parents from each other, so we cannot unify and compare notes. Gone are the days of open forum communication favored instead by one-on-one coffees… or the students can go one-on-one with counselors and therapists. They DON’T WANT US talking to each other. They have been stifling the medias’ reporting, too, as there have been numerous bomb and active shooter threats… too many to count.
You also can’t count on the kids to tell you everything – they simply don’t have a clear idea of what is “normal” and “abnormal”. Their school experiences are NOTHING like what we went through 20, 30, 40, 50 years ago. This is a heightened environment of depravity and no holds barred. Savannah does talk with me a lot… but even some was withheld from me, as she was trying to handle it on her own and not upset or worry me. Some things… need a parent to handle them.
Pulling her was the best thing I did for her… for the short term… but I should have bitten the bullet and removed her sooner. The damage done with her learning gaps is almost irreparable. BUT GOD. But GOD CAN USE THIS for her good and HE CAN restore the years the locusts have eaten.

The SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION (SSA) has announced that the cost of living (COLA) for 2025 has been set at 8.5%. However, my retired neighbor just showed me the letter he just received from the SSA, stating that his Social Security will be increased by 2.5%. Someone is lying and it is not my friend.

I feel for those whose only income is SSA. They just lost purchasing power…again.
My & my wife’s pensions are fixed and has been since 2016 after we retired. Hasn’t gone up a penny in over 8 years. No COLA on our pensions. And they’re not large because the company discontinued offering pensions for new hires after 2005. Ours were grandfathered in but only from the 1970’s to 1996.
Fortunately my wife and I were able to save up enough over the last 20 years of our working careers to create a small buffer.
