I watched this entire interview and was thinking how I hoped Sundance would dig into it. It was astonishing to me how naieve Halperin was about some of the things he obviously believes. His generosity toward Nancy Pelosi for one. His “need” for President Trump to communicate in a more moderate and mannerly way. He absolutely does not understand where the MAGA movement comes from. Today I drove by one of the Trump signs I put up. Someone had put a Harris/Walz bumper sticker on it. Fortunately I was able to remove it w/out it messing up the sign. I suppose that is better than them stealing the sign, but it never ceases to amaze me at what assholes they are. So far the other signs I put up in the area have been left alone.
Anyway, yes, I believe they will go bonkers worse than last time should Trump clearly win. The country is divided and will remain so. I am not sure we will ever be peaceful and live in harmony again as Americans like when I was growing up. People have become rabid. I continue to pray for the Trump family.
In 2016, my husband and I put up 27 Trump signs in the rural area where we live. Some required standing on the roof of our truck in order to place high up on telephone poles. Every one was gone within 2 days!
