That reminds me of a story my professor told us when I was earning my degree in Journalism. He told of the old days of the USSR and a joint track meet between the United States and the Soviets which the U.S. won handily. Of course the American papers told the story of this great victory over the USSR team while the Russian papers reported that the Soviet team had come in second while the United States finished next to last.
The same professor used to threaten to start a rival newspaper and call it The NY Truth.. that way when someone stepped up to the newsstand and ask for today’s paper, the newsman could ask, “Do you want the Times or do you want the Truth?”

Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

Please know that the Communist make 50 years plans and that the USA elects a president every 4 years. That’s 12 elections while the CCP never takes it’s eyes off the ball.

Hi Patience
Oh, that hammock has my name on it. I grew up on the ocean and now live in the desert – love them both, but oh do I miss that salt water smell! I used to step outside my home in CT each morning and just breathe in that air.
We were out literally all day at doctor appointments yesterday. Met the new neurologist/ pain specialist and we both were very impressed. He listened! Friday is a big day. Lloyd is scheduled for spinal injections meant to alleviate his pain. So, God willing, help is on the way.
Old friends heard we were in need and reconnected. They came today and sat with Lloyd while I grocery shopped – which I haven’t been able to do in 3 weeks! What a gift. My prayers are being answered.
I’m hoping to join in on the fun earlier tomorrow. You are a true blessing my dear friend. 🫂

Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.
Thank You, that You are such a gracious Shepherd to me and that You come and rescue me even when I lose my way and stray from the path that You have laid out for me.
As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.
