Larry Kudlow delivered a monologue outlining his pragmatic and positive perspective on the Robert F Kennedy endorsement of President Trump.
Mr Kudlow sees a net positive from the RFK JR endorsement and is optimistic that support from a Kennedy can tilt a tight race. WATCH:
.
It will be interesting to watch how the professional republicans in DC respond to the Kennedy endorsement.
From the Twitter: “I can’t tell whether it’s good or bad, but I firmly believe you have to be willing to play the cards your dealt. Maybe it was the Army, I dunno, but I can’t stand to sacrifice momentum for purity and perfection. You want that? Go to church. This is politics. It’s war. We fight with the team we’ve got, and that means sending the cynics, purists, and ideologues to the rear so the rest of us can get to work. Our objective now is to win, and that means taking what we’ve got and stepping off. If Donald Rumsfeld was right about anything, it’s that “you go to war with the army you have, not the army you might want.” The nerds, poets, and firebrands will have plenty of time to play games once the dust has settled. But right now, we need to win.”

Doh’!
No wonder the Lefties are in a worse mood than usual today!
Their vitriol is over the top. Makes me feel confident that RFK’s move was good for us.
Glendale, AZ is MAGA town in Metro Phoenix, as are East Valley cities Chandler, Gilbert and to a lesser degree Mesa and North Phoenix
Heart of the Proggo Darkness is University town Tempe and its spillover into East Phoenix, then Central Phoenix political elites and Rhinoviral Scottsdale
I am still hung up on the ballots, specifically those still listing RFJ Jr as a choice.
Battle ground, red and blue states. AZ and NY I believe he is off or not qualified to have RFKJ. Maybe up to 10 he may file to have removed? I don’t trust this until I see done deal.
And then, with his name on red/blue state ballots, how that pans out for electoral votes.
I don’t think I’m being a purest or ideologue to focus on the ballots.
they didnt need a reason. but its a good one for the purple hairs to riot and protest the election.
Understand that the number of electoral college votes a state has is determined by population. Note all states follow the winner take all rule. If a candidate is not on the ballot they cannot compete for or receive any electoral college votes. It is my understanding that RFK Jr. is in the process of submitting the requisite paperwork to have his name removed from the ballot in Red and battleground states to eliminate the possibility of siphoning votes from DJT. With respect to blue states, RFK Jr. intends to remain on the ballot to siphon off votes from KH. Obviously ballots are of a concern because the candidate receiving the most votes determined by a ballot count wins. With respect election fraud, a number of judicial decisions have been made or are in process that uphold ballot integrity.
RFKJr:
I want everyone to know that I am not terminating my campaign. I am simply suspending it and not ending it. My name will remain on the ballot in most states. If you live in a blue state, you can vote for me without harming or helping President Trump or Vice President Harris. In red states, the same will apply. I encourage you to vote for me.
And if enough of you do vote for me, and neither of the major party candidates win 270 votes, which is quite possible, in fact, today our polling shows them tying at 269, and I could conceivably still end up in the White House in a contention election. But in about ten battleground states, where my presence would be a spoiler, I’m going to remove my name, and I’ve already started that process and urge voters not to vote for me.
Me: In short, a) he and Trump think his candidacy takes votes from Trump more than Harris and b) he is or will be out in the states where that could matter. (Also, lawfare has taken him off the ballot in a few blue states already, IIRC.)
Within moments of RFKjr’s appearance at the Arizona event the Nevada Sect of State let the news reporters know that RFKjr will remain on the Nevada ballot, saying Kennedy had to request his name be removed from the ballots no later than August 9th.
Kennedy wasn’t finally certified and allowed to be on Nevada ballots after winning the lawsuit the Democrat party brought to keep him off the ballot until July 26th.
So am not sure how this will affect the votes in Nevada and am sure questions will come up when we go for poll worker training because I can imagine voters will be asking us about it when they see his name on their sample ballots.
A lot of people think that RFK Jr is going to stab Trump in the back but, it seems to me that he is no more likely to do that that most Republicans are.
How can anyone treat PDJT worse than Mitch McConnell has? With friends like him…
Considering what’s happening in Rasmussen polling for the Senate races that must be won, looks like the Turtle is still working his particular brand of magic. Perhaps in cahoots with ‘my main objective is to keep Trump from winning the White House’ Pelosi.
Also, the deafening silence from the Bush-ites in TX these past couple of months. Any good wishes from that crew sent to Pres Trump after the near miss in Butler PA? Nah. Don’t forget GWB gets fulltime SS at his ranch. Funny thing is that there was no clamor for his presence at RNC.
Good point.
Hopefully Trump minimizes the potential for mischief by dangling an opportunity tantalizing enough to properly motivate RFK. Kennedy has a giant ego and has been after the poisonous food and pharma racket for decades, who have in turned labeled him a conspiracy theorist and a nut. If Trump is smart, he’ll weaponize the existing animosity and put RFK in charge of oversight at the FDA. That would be like turning a game-bred pit bulldog loose in a chicken coop. The carnage to Big Ag and Pharma could be glorious and if nothing else, a whole lot of chickens would be slaughtered.
If your posit comes to pass, and Junior does go on that warpath, what can we do from the other end to destroy those monopolies, Big Ag and Pharma?
They won’t give power up willingly, so it’ll take some sacrifice and suffering to bring the war to their doorstep in a meaningful way. It also means bringing the war to the doorstep of the Congress and courts they own too.We can do it though. There are a lot of soulless humans in this Republic to bring to God for judgment.
all he can do is be a reality show conveyor to the public of a need for change.
need an large chaotic event and act within 4 days of it to get any change.
example – the world has mostly moved on from the assassination attempt.
Hey Dunes2021. Whether or not real change can be effected at this point is moot. I personally think nothing but an act of God will stop the slide to biomedical security and total surveillance serfdom. While I wait for the Almighty to coat the earth in flame what must certainly be any day now, I’m willing to roll any grenade at hand into the tent of tyranny.
David comes to mind, very unstable fellow kicking butt all over under Gods blessing. Even had the kings son helping him. King saul was so grievous he basically killed himself.
All the riffraff joined because death was at their door anyway. They won it all.
David killed Goliath, no fear. Killed! Was no jail time, he cut off his head. Then the democrats ran, philistines i mean. Saul, was not of God. David was Gods remedy.
Where do people stand anymore? Oh right, 6 feet apart.
Line up for the box car, shot, whatever.
They are literally taking our children, anyone?
One David, beats them all.
What you suggest seems to be in fairly close alignment with what PDJT talked about putting RFK to task doing. Sounds excellent – put him to task investigating, digging, truth telling about some of those corrupt, captured agencies he so despises so Presidential or legislative action can be taken to correct the wrongs that he finds, but keeping him for the most part out of the direct core of the administration where he could pose a threat to Trump or his agenda.
Time will tell. A big tell will be the messaging that Kennedy puts out to his supporters in the swing States.
Of course the professionally Republicans will suffer from an acute enlargement of the spleen with this RFK move.
Maybe not so much that, as that the democrats have publicly beshat themselves and the republicans are the competent adults in the room with the hose and the mop.
Democtrats would assert the monoparty they have created, whereas republicans/trump give them real opposition and thwart their ambitions and supposed overarching authority.
Have to get the W.

Fairly close to what we have and are still finding. A bit on the low side—it’s going to be more like 40%—but not that far off.

Trump campaign analysis says RFK Jr vote breaks their way in all 7 battleground states by an average net gain of 24%.
Cont (and polling document linked in tweet)…
Thank you Sundance for pointing out what needs to be stated: Deserve this!
RFK Jr has been given a gift by a a gracious PDJT and by MAGA. If RFKJr ever does anything to become arrogant and begin to push his weight around in ways he shouldn’t, a correction would be necessary. He has his lane to stay in, but in no way is he welcome in MAGA to change MAGA from the inside out. Tread lightly Jr. Just do the job – healthy, food safety and assassination attempts. That’s it and that is enough.
I get and agree with your sentiment about RFK trying to stay within the assignment(s) he may be given, but I might point out just another dimension of phrasing:
The three jobs outlined above are ambitious and gargantuan. I mean, “Kennedy-moon-shot” big. Realistically going to need some heavy treading and a battering ram.
In naval terms, such as in several pivotal WWII island battles in the south Pacific, which required cooperation between U.S. land and sea forces – if Bobby can be an accurate and trusted forward-deployed spotter, radioing in coordinates from land as to where the enemy has our forces blocked, then Trump’s job will have to be that of the Admiral on the bridge, commanding the battleships, cruisers and destroyers offshore, zeroing in the various 5-inch, 8-inch, 14-inch and 16-inch guns on the problem areas, while being careful of where our own front line troops are.
Trump and Kennedy, with their statements yesterday, have bitten off a mighty chaw of tobacco. Godspeed.
Wow, just wow! Sundance at his fact based, inspirational and cautionary best! Elegantly done SD! Thank you!
With you MC- “…Just do the job – healthy, food safety and assassination attempts.” This is a HUGE consequential Lane! There should not be ANY need for RFKjr to venture beyond it to actualize his legacy for the benefit of all Americans. IF that should occur, it would be immediately actionable against these very defined major work activities.
I’m going to remain optimistic, as the numbers RFK Jr. brings, make it almost impossible for them to pull off another steal, should those numbers continue to break Trump’s way. And as I’ve always opined, the most important thing is to get him back in the White House first and foremost.
Yet, I continue to maintain that RFK Jr. is bats*&^ crazy, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be effective. Lots of people have been “touched” and are creative, inspiring, and do contribute to society in meaningful ways, and frankly, given his families’ history and tragedies who wouldn’t be a little on the mental side?
Anyway, enough of that…on a side note, has anyone heard from John Brennan lately? Seems to be totally M.I.A. Hmmm.
Agree with the post from Twitter (X, wharever) “But right now, we need to win.” Gritty truth. We may have excellent policies, plans, and ideals – but all those are noise and talk if it can’t be put into action by a win.
Well a big thing that the Kennedy announcement did was take the wind out of Harris’s sails.
Jr. unlike Trump likely sailed when he was younger, he knows what that can do to a competitor. Trump strikes me as a speedboat sort ;).
Not many are talking about the Dems convention this weekend!
“you go to war with the army you have, not the army you might want.”
“The nerds, poets, and firebrands will have plenty of time to play games once the dust has settled. But right now, we need to win.”
Thank you for saying this!
These perilous times, and our Public Square, demand that we all bring our “A-game.” (the best we’ve got).
I am thrilled, but…
There will be a response, besides the usual release of dirt on RFK, Jr. They are now going to actually use the 25th Amendment to remove Joe Biden and install.Harris as President for the rest of his term. This will give her both the status of being President, control of the military, DOJ, and covert control of the electoral process. Hope I’m wrong.
They need Republican votes for that. I trust they won’t get it from Speaker Mike Johnson!!!
I stopped listening to Kudlow in 2008 after he kept vehemently denying that the country was going into a recession when it was obvious even to me, not an economist, that something wicked was dawning for the economy. I sold my real estate investments and got out of the stock market in 2007. Kudlow was just shilling for Bush and the stock market. His prior cocaine addiction must have fried his brain to some extent.
Bobby Kennedy introduced two topics that had never been part of our American political discussion: Chronic Disease and Processed Foods. This was pure genius. Only comparable to a Man that introduced Mexico not sending their best people and China stealing our lunch in a single speech in Trump Tower, changing our politics forever. Immigration and Trade are now central because Trump brought them up. Now preventable chronic disease and Food will be part of our politics forever. The Globalists gave US Climate and Abortion, we reply with Trade, Immigratin, Health, and Food.
Kennedy’s speech will have long-lasting consequences. Thank you!
I don’t agree with RFK Jr. hardcore anti-vaccine position especially wrt MMR which was first introduced by his uncle JFK. But JFK did endorse a rigorous exercise and physical program for kids which is why childhood obesity was non existent 60 years ago. Obesity and chronic illness is a huge problem and I wholeheartedly agree with him on that front. Kudlow is right that you go to battle with the army you’ve got.
Amazing!
Out of the Sea of Tranquility, arises the hope for our future. I see the Hand of God in this. “Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition!” – Frank Loesser (1942)

BREAKING: Cornel West is dropping out and endorsing Trump.
“A brother can’t in good conscience endorse a pro-war, fake black, code-switching hussy whose ancestors owned slaves. I’m proud to stand with Donald John Trump.”
I believe that the 2024 election is going to be the straw that breaks the camels back. The latest version of the United Nations pandemic plan to New Zealand which is supposed to be a blueprint for the rest of the world to follow, includes provisions to allow law enforcement and even NATO to enforce the government’s mandatory vaccination agenda. If they do declare a pandemic under those restrictions before the Presidential election it would require the use of mail-In ballots.
and that you must get the vaccine to vote in person. Additionally, properly documented “illegal” immigrants will be
allowed to vote for President in many states. (Federal Election). The Dem’s are good at fixing elections and they are currently averaging 100%
Always loved Larry’s talks during President Trump’s term. He like Peter Navarro seemed a bit hesitant of how the tariffs were going to work to America’s benefit.
When he saw how effective they were he and Peter jumped on board and made a strong case for them.
He will always be “Koala Larry” to me thanks to Sundance. Next up—–Wilbur Ross!!
Larry being Larry is a great way to understand the great potential in this mega-alignment of politically motivated armies and the impeccable timing of the announcement. Democrats are drowning politically and the lifering tossed by RFKjr is an anchor. How fitting is the moment? Especially, if you remember how vividly his father’s death was displayed as a news event.
The life-spirit of the baby-boom generation was indelibly altered and America witnessed the third political assassination of our young idealistic leaders. Death of the innocence of a generation that hit the families of Vietnam War supporters and detractors very hard.
Kennedy is now able to recreate a portion of his father’s idealism with the temperament that comes with years of experience and understanding. God has presented him with a unique opportunity bring the kind of impactful change that his father would have accomplished.
The ideals of classical liberalism will meet the ideals of pragmatic conservatism in the relationship of Kennedy and Trump. Vintage Trump decisiveness is likely. We can only guess upon the potential for the Trump administration. Clearly, Kennedy will need to respond to ANY Trump initiative as a team player. The Trump ego will never allow a unity of thought that could become a Uniparty ideal.
Loyalty and competence will define the potential of Robert Fitzgerald Kennedy Jr. in the Trump administration. I pray for them to seek the guidance of their faith and long experience to be successful for an America that needs greatness in leadership now more than ever before.
