Earlier today the Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS) revised the annual jobs report to remove 818,000 previously recorded jobs.

That suggests the economy added an average of 174,000 jobs per month during that time period — below the previous 242,000 estimate. On a monthly basis, that amounts to about 68,000 fewer jobs. When asked about the troubling indicator of this revision, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo had no idea the BLS had made this announcement. WATCH:

That response from Raimondo was incredibly lame. She was one of the few Biden cabinet employees that had had any successful private sector experience and didn’t come across to me as a crazed leftist. She also had impeccable academic credentials: magna from Harvard in economics, Rhodes Scholar, Ph.D. from Oxford, and Yale law degree. She is also the former governor of Rhode Island and is a wife and mother of two. Just goes to show that Democrat Party politics can turn anyone into a pathetic, run of the mill, political hack. She’d rather doubt her own DOL (Dept. of Labor) than accept as true anything that Trump says.
NONE of those credentials overcomes the elitist philosophy embedded in her ChickBrain.

As a follow up, in regard to student political proclivities; the divide now it is around 90-93% liebral. They have had 2 recent Faculty polls and, of the respondents, 35% were “progressive” (i.e Commie Socialists) 50% “liberal”, 14% “Moderate”, 2% “Conservative” and 0.6% “Ultra-Conservative” (not sure if that was Prof. Emeritus Harvey C. Mansfield being the outlier). More students voted for Jill Stein than Trump in 2016 (5% vs 1%) and the Harvard Republican Club stupidly did not endorse Trump in 2016 but smartened up and did in 2020.
