Assuming you’re asking about the picture of Trump raising his fist. The footage Fox was showing showed 2 reporters (cameramen?) who were near the podium and continued taking pictures after the shooting started. A guy from the NYT has the photo credit for the other photo where you can see the bullet in the air behind President Trump.
I keep hearing different versions of “Trump is social media savvy-he had the presence of mind to take advantage of that moment” (and I’m hearing that on Fox or Newsweek-I’m sure other networks are even more cynical. IMO, he had the “presence of mind” to show the world he was alive and well before being bagged and stuck in an SUV. If he hadn’t shown the crowd he was alive and well, that bullet may have grazed his ear, ricocheted around in his brain and then changed direction and landed in the fire chief who died like the magic bullet that killed JFK. He may have saved his own life in those seconds by foiling contingency plans for finishing the assassination between the rally grounds and the hospital.
B.S. They did everything they could to fully surround him and keep him down but he was not leaving that stage without a message that he was OK and still fighting.

I was watching the blond female in the front, I thought she was extremely focused on her duty — to get President Trump to safety.
I was also struck by how the SS worked as a team to shield President Trump, they communicated, they moved as one. Their focus was on getting Trump out of there with no more bloodshed.
I know many of them were thinking ‘this is what we train for. This is why we are here.’

I’ve seen the picture and read a lot of criticism about that, but maybe the Secret Service agents were expecting Trump to duck like most people getting shot at would do and not stand up raising his fist in the air.
The three women on his SS detail are at least a foot shorter than President Trump. Not good at all on a security detail.
I’m a woman and I would not have wanted any of those girls on my protective detail. One of them couldn’t even holster her gun and they were all fidgeting with their clothes and sunglasses near President Trump’s SUV…to look their best. Never seen secret service men do that.

this type of situation what they are trained to handle…
Obviously you were not in the military. When in Vietnam, the worst situation is your first day fighting! Any time a new guy came up, you had to look out for them until they got their feet wet! They were trained but not experienced! Once you see the reality you’re facing, you react accordingly.
I think women are great in many areas, but this isn’t one. Unless they are guarding a woman, and even then, in situations like this it is men who are needed. Women cannot and never will replace men in all situations. As a woman I know this!

Ironically, the fact that she was not tall enough for that detail, allowed the views of the fight and fearlessness in Trump that will go down in history. Not defending the assignment at all, but the ability for Trump to show he was okay over the female agents head may have saved him from contingency assassination plans that could have unfolded after the bullets flew.

That’s not what’s happening here. The Secret Service wanted to protect Trump with their bodies and move him to the vehicle. He stood up defying the shooter, who by then was dead, but the agents had no way to know if another shooter was lurking. Protecting him with their bodies is SOP in such situations.
Officials may well have made errors that allowed this shooting to occur. I have serious questions about certain things. But don’t misrepresent what those agents in the line of fire were doing.

Can we dispense with the woke hiring practices on all Secret Service protection details. The three women on President Trump’s detail were at a minimum a foot shorter than him. President Trump was open to additional attempts on his life many times as his cordon escorted him off stage. Furthermore, why was not local law enforcement or the PA state police made responsible for manning and patrolling those close proximity buildings? This is a complete fiasco and a total break down of common sense perimeter securing techniques. Praise G od that President Trump’s Holy Guardian Angels deflected that round. My prayers are with the families of the innocent attendees at the rally who were murdered and wounded at this event.

Trump deserves this
At least half of Trump’s Secret Service team needs to be replaced! “All” of them should be men, tall men, and all Trump voters! They also need to add about 4 more sniper teams to his team! No one else can be trusted now, and whoever is handling the leadership of his team, needs to be taken to the woodshed and given a lesson. Then that leader needs to do a little studying on how they totally messed up on protecting him, because the whole team did a pretty bad job of it.
