Judge Aileen Cannon has rejected the request by Special Prosecutor Jack Smith to ban President Trump from talking about the DOJ/FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, and/or the circumstances that led to the Biden administration approving the use of deadly force.

“The Court finds the Special Counsel’s pro forma ‘conferral’ [with the defense] to be wholly lacking in substance and professional courtesy,” wrote Cannon, a Trump appointee. “It should go without saying that meaningful conferral is not a perfunctory exercise.”
Cannon didn’t rule out granting the request in the future, but she said prosecutors would need to to further engage with Trump’s side over the issue before she will take it up again. She also questioned Smith’s claim of urgency to file the gag order request, noting that prosecutors filed it on a “non-emergency” basis. It was submitted on the Friday evening before the Memorial Day weekend, leading Trump lawyers to complain that they were being rushed into responding.
In addition, Cannon appeared to fault Smith’s attorneys for skewing how they described the stance that Trump’s lawyers had taken on the proposed gag order. The judge suggested prosecutors had relegated Trump’s response to “editorialized footnotes,” rather than just reciting it neutrally to the court. She directed both sides to provide her with more details in the future on their attempts to work out such disputes and to do so “in objective terms.” (read more)

Funny, I don’t recall ever seeing Obama-appointed Judge [insert something bad about Trump that’s clearly outside case or statutory precedence ].
We know what it means when they insert information and often when they fail to properly attribute details to stories.
For example, “a mass shooting occurred” but they will not identify the suspect. What do we know from that? Ann Coulter certainly thinks she knows what it means and in the most recent examples, she appears to be right.

Politico cracks me up, though. They called Trump’s claims about deadly force “baseless”, and then confirmed that it absolutely wasn’t baseless by going to the FBI.
The FBI then confirmed not only that it was in there, but also that it was in there for no reason at all. Again, as I’ve pointed out, if they did all the careful coordination they claimed, then there was no reason for the deadly force provision.

I have to disagree here. The man in Arkansas did not try to resist or impede their search. All within 56 or 57 seconds. Oh, and they covered the camera outside his home.

1). the home away would react and

It is being reported on TGP that the Secret Service is now engaged in discussions with New York authorities as to how President Trump will be protected if he is jailed by Judge Merchon after the inevitable guilty verdict is rendered. That such discussions are underway at all is an indication that Merchon’s sentence will include incarceration.
Once the guilty verdict is rendered, and a period of incarceration is imposed, we should not be too surprised if Joe Biden announces that Donald Trump’s Secret Service protection is being withdrawn and that New York authorities will be responsible for Trump’s protection while he is incarcerated.

Garland’s use of deadly force authorization was to complete the mission of obtaining the classified documents listed in the search warrant.
It was not an authorization to use deadly force in self-defense simply because the FBI doesn’t need a special authorization by the Attorney General of the United States for self-defense!

FBI Agents are always authorized to use deadly force to defend themselves.
The Garland authorization gave the FBI permission to use deadly force to simply obtain the documents in the event someone resisted even if the resistance was unarmed, wasn’t violent or didn’t threaten their lives!
The good news is now we/his team can have a good reason to review every search warrant related to PDJT’s political, and business, career, and that of his close associates who’ve been persecuted as well, to see how many, if any, included explicit instructions about the use of deadly force.
