Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

“This is by no means a complete listing of readily available, really good nutritional medicine education resources. But since search engines have become biased by advertising revenue, it may serve to help avoid getting bogged down in an increasingly profit-driven, politically influenced, pharma-dominated internet. There is a whole body of knowledge a few clicks away.”

I like Mike Braun in Indiana. The more I get to know about him, the more I hope he will be the next Governor for the State of Indiana – away from the Establishment. He’s a Trump supporter.
I got this email from him today – and it involves our 2nd amendment. Not Presidential thread – but it is legislative in nature and worthy of us all knowing what the traitorous administration is doing behind the scenes.
***************
Dear Ms. XXXXXXXXXX
Since you have written to my office on important issues in the past I wanted to make you aware of my latest effort on preserving the rights of gun owners. My amendment would protect Americans’ right to bear arms from executive branch infringement by affirming that the HHS Secretary does not have the authority to institute gun control by declaring gun violence a public health emergency. Unfortunately, this amendment was not adopted, and failed 11-10 on a party line vote in committee.
The Second Amendment guarantees that the right of the American people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. I will continue to fight for American’s Second Amendment right to bear arms. I am a strong believer that a person’s inherent right to self-defense and right to individual gun ownership must be preserved and defended. From the time that I was elected to the United States Senate, I have supported several bills to protect the Second Amendment rights of Americans. It is an honor to serve as your U.S. Senator from Indiana. Please keep in touch with me on issues of concern to you. You can also follow me on Twitter or Facebook for real-time updates on my activities in the U.S. Senate. If I ever may be of service, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Mike Braun
U.S. Senator
Senator Braun’s amendment to protect Second Amendment from “national emergency declaration” gun control
WASHINGTON – On July 20th, Senator Mike Braun offered an amendment to the Pandemic and All-Hazards Preparedness Act that would prevent President Biden and the Department of Health and Human Services from declaring gun violence a public health emergency for the purpose of instituting gun control measures and infringing on Americans’ Second Amendment rights.
“National and local politicians across the country are always trying to restrict the rights of law-abiding citizens. We need to set into law that no one can declare a national health emergency to seize the power to restrict our Second Amendment rights with the stroke of a pen. I will always stand up for Hoosiers’ rights to protect themselves and their families.” – Senator Mike Braun
President Biden and HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra, and Senator Alex Padilla have called for gun violence public health emergencies.
Senator Braun’s amendment would protect Americans’ right to bear arms from executive branch infringement by affirming that the HHS Secretary does not have the authority to institute gun control by declaring gun violence a public health emergency.
Senator Braun’s remarks during the markup meeting of the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee:
“During the COVID-19 pandemic, Americans saw Big Government flourish and many of our constitutional rights be diminished.
More and more, big government wants to turn everything into a national emergency.
Recently, the Secretary of Health and Human Services advocated for gun violence to be declared a public health emergency to grant HHS power to restrict Americans’ right to keep and bear arms.
The Department of Health and Human Services was never intended to implement gun control of any kind.
My amendment would simply prohibit HHS from declaring a public health emergency to implement gun control.
I urge my colleagues to vote yes on my amendment. “
this may be the follow-up video to the one Wealthion did yesterday that was focused on social security retirement information, this one is a 2-hr theme-based webinar followed by a 1 hour in-depth question and answer session with those who presented the webinar, along the same theme, retirement, but this one focused on retirement information outside of social security.
titled “Want To Retire Well? Follow These Basic Practices/Real Investment Advice”
having had so many in my circle pass away over the past two years, found that the information in this would have been very helpful for the younger adults who I saw completely flummoxed on what to do with their parents sudden passing, so thought others here may also find some useful information. Personally got more out of the 1 hour question and answer part that followed the webinar, probably because I’m already past the planning for the future stage of things, but still, also thought the first part full of useful information.
of course, at the very end is their in-house commercial to give them a call for a free, non-committal interview with them, but, this is to be expected in this day and age of internet infotainment.
I have used that exact look on my two kids a time or two.
LOVE IT!!!
🙂
Gorgeous, isn’t he? Strawberry Finch. We’d see those tiny kingfishers up and down the marshes and canals in Wales.
As a birdwatcher and amateur photographer, I very much appreciate both photos. I understand the difficulty in photographing birds.
For the kingfisher photo – I enjoy the “Be Ungovernable!” aspect that I perceive. LOL!
I’d never heard of, or seen, a Strawberry Finch before. Thanks for the description. The details in that particular photo are extraordinary! It almost doesn’t look real; like it’s a painting or something!
Thanks so much for posting these!
WHOA!!!!
But NO!!
One day ….
Little Red Riding Hood
Grandma had a posh condo😎
Over the top! 😱
That would give me nightmares.
😂😂😂
Don’t think I’d could fit in there…LOL!
But he might 😍
I actually had a cat that would crawl right in a bubble bath with you. That was the most amazing behavior. It certainly was a surprise!
That’s LOVE right there!
I’ll say!!! Bet it’s reciprocated, too💕
I want it.
Gabby would not think so! In fact she would think we hated her if we tried to put her in there.
Apologies if this has been posted.
Bring the shutters down on this evil organization!

I saw this earlier. This is such an upside down crazy world right now.
Maybe the world hasn’t really changed…. Maybe we are now having our eyes (& minds) opened to see what’s actually there….
Some (based on The Matrix movie) called it being “red-pilled”………
I think the internet has been the KEY to getting unfiltered TRUTH quickly to the masses. Prior to that all of our information came from corporate/government-controlled (filtered) broadcast and print media (newspapers and periodicals), and books.
Kinda busy right now
Amazing!!!!!
Patience, I’ve seen quite a few sculptures like this. And with each one I can simply stare and be amazed by the talents of those can take a piece of marble and systematically remove the excess to reveal something like this.
Magnificent!
I agree.
This particular sculpture of sheer fabric on a human form
is one of the absolute best that I have seen!
The placement of the folds, drapes and creases does not interfere with the human form; in any way.
The delicate ‘ripples’ near the belly button (wow!)
and across the eye and nose
– she appears to be totally alive and breathing.
Look at the shoulder and armpit!!!
Painting, carving or sculpting fabric often assists an artist’s work to seem to be more impressive. It can be almost an impressive camouflage .
The naturalness and placement of the folds is imo a key difference that places the artist’s work above so many others.
Absolutely astounding.
And beautiful. A reminder that Western civilization was built with beauty and the arts at its centre.
It is necessary for the foul forces running amok to completely destroy all of it.
Look at what passes for art today…or architecture…or music and tell me there is not method in their madness.
Originality, new style, true creativity ….
desired and expected quality of and in
the ‘finer’ things in life; and of self,
have -overall, almost publicly diminished.
Mediocrity and temporary use …. faux everything
has replaced valued and earned appreciation.
How many beautifully crafted pieces of fine furniture have been cut up … destroyed and (choking)“repurposed”?
How many beautiful silver spoons, forks and knives have been made into wind chimes?
Grandma’s China broken to make ‘mosaics’ , bird feeders. If it’s in poor condition, or to buy it at a tag sale… and do that. But your family China??? Ha!
Anybody is a ‘professional’ these days.
Be it: journalism landscaping, masonry, carpentry, painting… artistry.. you name it!
-Getting paid makes it so.
Thank goodness that there are some real abled bodies and minds who do know their craft and do it well.
Patience, you would love all the antique fairs in Britain. Old furniture, old silver, old China, old everything. Treasures everywhere you look. And the antique shops…
Of course you’d have to stop for some fish n chips from the local chippy about lunch time…😁💕
Yes I would!
Have to have some warm beer with that, ya know.
Ma gave me what looked like a beautiful pull over long sleeved blouse. Only wore it once for Christmas years ago.
It was Gramma’s wedding night nightgown! She was five feet. I’m several inches taller, so it’s a short tunic. Ha!
She made it for her dowry. All handmade; every stitch! No machinery.
It is quite practical in style, but the details and designs on this simple, soft, durable, white fabric. it’s lovely; precious. It’s in perfect (perfect) condition.
So, yes…. Everything has a story and a life; many, if appreciated.
I have an aunt (American) who told me that even the dirt in England smelled old. This was one of her observations upon visiting there.
LOL!
🙂
Objectifying women. Pull it down. /s
Ya got me smilin, Winston.
-still 😜
WONDERFUL!
Thanks!!
You’re quite welcome “mate” 😉
Nothin better for a bit of relaxing imho. It conjures up soooooo many memories…..good times 🙂
It’s been awhile….hope all is real good.
This is kind of a shot in the dark, but here goes. I seem to remember, about 2 or 3 years ago, a bunch of CTH enthusiasts commiserating about modern washers and dryers. That the newer appliances don’t last very long, are made outside of the USA, use so little water they don’t get clothes clean, etc.
Then a few posters joined in and highly recommended a made in the USA brand, that was built ruggedly, got clothes clean, etc. I cannot for the life of me remember what brand it was. A comment was made that they were a little more pricey, but they were worth the extra $.
Can anyone help me? Our washer and dryer are becoming intermittent and we never liked them from day one, so I don’t want to invest any time or money in repairing them, which I am quite capable of doing. They of the type people were complaining about back then.
Maytag or Whirlpool, Joe.
I’ve had a Maytag which lasted about 14 years. Gave up the ghost and now we have an LG, which I love.
However, I’ve seen reviews by people who don’t like theirs, soooo…
Frigidaire kitchen I believe are still made in the US. I have their dishwasher and
my second induction stove, first was left in Arizona. We aren’t piped for gas. My front load washer/dryer are LG. We bought the set in 2010. Something in the washers control panel went out a couple of years ago and my hubs put in a replacement part. Still working like a charm. I also have LG fridge and microwave because Frigidaire didn’t have what I needed. No issues with either brand.
Speed Queen brand comes to mind as being discussed here.
Amana brand, founded in Iowa, is owned by Whirlpool.

Every repairman I have met has agreed that Amana and Maytag are their preferred brands to be able to service.
Sepp, the longest washer and dryer I ever owned were Kenmore. Never a problem. And I wore that thing out!!
I’d forgotten about Amana…
Check out Speed Queen’s website. They may be the best currently US-made washers. Their top -loading model TR7 has a 7 year parts AND in-home labor warranty.
My grandparents bought a Speed Queen washer back in the late 50’s. After my grandfather died in’62, Grandma moved to an apartment and gave the washer to my mother. Mom used it without issue until my parents sold their home and moved to an apt. in 1990. That thing was still running about 35 years after it was bought. I didn’t even know they were still made here but they are.

This brought tears to my eyes. It isn’t funny.
Winston, I love watching those videos. The level of ignorance is appalling and disturbing but the guy asking the question makes me laugh every time.
I’m thankful my grandkids are open to historical things and if I say something they don’t get, they ask about it.

Justin Hayward: Voices in the Sky
Voices in the SkyThe Moody Blues
Bluebird, flying high
Tell me what you sing
If you could talk to me
What news would you bring
Of voices in the sky
Nightingale, hovering high
Harmonize the wind
Darkness, your symphony
I can hear you sing
Of voices in the sky
Just what is happening to me
I lie awake with the sound of the sea
Calling to me
Old man, passing by
Tell me what you sing
Though your voice be faint
I am listening
Voices in the sky
Children with a skipping rope
Tell me what you sing
Play time is nearly gone
The bell’s about to ring
Voices in the sky
Just what is happening to me
I lie awake with the sound of the sea
Calling to me
Bluebird, flying high
Tell me what you sing
If you could talk to me
What news would you bring
Of voices in the sky
