Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Sweet!! I know someone in this house who is really going to enjoy this. I think he would have really enjoyed doing a road trip across this country on a bike. He owned and repaired many in his British youth. Passing this on right now! Thanks, Jim!
BTW.. I’m on green bike friend Clancy on red one🤣 I’m sure hubby will enjoy anything to do with bikes 🤣👍
🇺🇸💪😀👍
Oh you better believe it. Walked his first home because it wasn’t running and because he had no license. Lucky the local British constabulary didn’t nick him…his dad made him take it apart and place the bits in individual boxes one after another and put it back together starting g with the last back to the first.
The start of a lifelong love affair.👍🏻
I can relate..🤣🤣👍

“Dear FBA Family,
Earlier this morning, I was notified that our beloved Pastor Emeritus, Dr. Charles Stanley, had passed away peacefully in his home. There is no way to express the flood of emotions rolling over me right now. And I know the same will be true for those of you who hear this news. In my mind, I really thought Dr. Stanley would either live with us until the rapture or that God would send a chariot of fire to whisk him away like He did for the prophet Elijah. But today was the appointed day.
I cannot begin to imagine the welcome he is receiving. His mother, whom he adored. His dad, who died when Dr. Stanley was only nine months old. His Uncle Jack, who helped to raise him. His Pentecostal preacher grandfather, who taught him to trust God no matter what. His Sunday school teachers and the other pastors who shaped his faith in God. And what about the millions of people who trusted in Jesus as Savior through Dr. Stanley’s preaching who preceded him to heaven? But then imagine what happened when Dr. Stanley saw the Lord Jesus Christ. It is too much for words.
Please be in prayer for his children, Pastor Andy Stanley and Becky Stanley Brodersen, and their children. We do not have any details concerning arrangements but will share those as soon as we get word from his family.
The verse that immediately came to my heart for Dr. Stanley this morning is 2 Timothy 4:8, “Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.”
Pr Anthony George
That was just beautifully worded🕊. I can’t put into words, as you so gracefully did, his impact on my life and my family’s. He was a true servant of our Lord and Savior and a warrior for all to come and know the glorious name of Jesus.
🙏🏻🎚🕊
Thank you, Dr. Stanley♥️
Georgia, that was the email Pr Anthony George, the new Pastor at the Church in Atlanta sent to the members.
This is as beautiful and comforting an assurance of Dr Stanley’s life to come as anything I’ve ever read. Surely the gates of heaven will open wide for him🙏🏻
Life well lived! He’s looking at Jesus now.
Maybe having some sweet tea together on a Heavenly porch. Good evening, GrandpaM.
Amen
Val1 i did not know he passed away. ?
Yesterday 7:30 in the morning.
The viewing will be Saturday at the First Baptist Atlanta.
My heart is broken 💔, too!
Loved listening to his sermons 🕊 💕
Lord thank you for Charles Stanley. One of my favorite preachers.
When my mother-in-law that’s 100 years old can’t get to church she listens to Charles Stanley
It is to be hoped that someone will archive and publish all his sermons so his words will continue to uplift. I suspect that’s a project already in the works.
Great idea! They do have Videos, sermon notes, etc at intouch.org now….. but later on have a special place for his work.
The InTouch Ministry has an app with Daily Devotions, daily 30 min Radio Sermons and twice weekly TV Sermons.
It has been my “Church away from Church for years”.
https://www.intouch.org/
Same here but aren’t we thankful that we can be assured of where he is. He always “spoke” to me from his devotionals that I still receive daily, to his timely and truth filled messages on tv or online, to books and bibles he shared along the way. Such an honorable man who truly lived his life with a servant’s heart. A faith filled, well lived disciple of the Lord. I can rest easy knowing that he is finally, truly home🙏🏻🕊.
Thank you, Dr. Stanley.🎚
Dr. Stanley’s teaching on what our Lord Jesus Christ said about forgiveness helped me through a rough patch.
Me too!
Many years ago, Dr. Stanley’s ministry was one of the greatest influencers in my life.
Every morning I listened to his radio program, read his devotional message, and watched his sermons on tv every Sunday.
At that time, I had never heard anyone teach the Bible like him – and it was transforming.
Back in the day, I visited his church in Atlanta several times before deciding it was too far to attend regularly.
A few weeks passed and three adults from his church visited my home and gave me a New Testament in the New International Version (NIV).
I had never read that version since it was somewhat new. And when I began to read it, a light came on.
I could clearly understand God’s Word, and that little New Testament went everywhere with me in my purse.
Going forward a few years, my hubs and I had purchased our first house. It took every thin dime we had to make this move. Jimmy Carter was President and our mortgage interest rate was 18%. We also had a little girl, and a baby on the way. Money was tight.
For a long while, I had been wanting a complete Bible – Old and New Testament in the NIV – like my little Testament.
But there just wasn’t extra dollars.
Shortly after moving to our new location, my hubs was driving down the road nearby, and saw a black book lying on the sidewalk. He stopped and picked up a new Bible in the NIV. The inside had no name, no notes, no anything.
The sidewalk was in front of a Korean Presbyterian Church, and we assumed one of its members dropped their Bible.
We contacted the pastor and explained what we found in front of his church. He announced this discovery to his church people for a month, but no one claimed a lost Bible.
Later he called and encouraged us to keep it since it didn’t belong to any of his people.
God knew I wanted a Bible like that, and He knew I needed it.
So He sent it to me in a mysterious way – His wonders to perform – and I will be forever grateful.
Nothing will stop Him from sending us help in our time of need.
Dr. Stanley was precious to me and I owe him gratitude.
He is never more alive than he is right now – at home with his God and Savior.
“And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead.” Hebrews 11:4.b
Hoping his ministry continues the daily messages on www.intouch.org.
I still use them today. So helpful.
Oh my, Della. No words for that beautiful testimony. I felt every single word.💕
🥰🙏🏻🥰
Della, Dr. Stanley has left the land of the dying and is in the Land of the Living in the presence of his and our Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ.
So. Comforting, Grampa! I’m looking forward to being there more each passing day!
🌷🌷
That is so beautiful GrandpaM. AMEN, brother, AMEN.
That is a beautiful story, friend. I’ve carried my NIV for over 30 years and even though I try to purchase new ones – nothing will ever replace it’s worn dog-eared edges and tear along its spine. It’s still mine and seen some hazardous duty. It speaks plainly to me and I am grateful for it.
A little sad that he has passed purely in a selfish way. Always a little sad to see someone so lovely leave us here on this planet – but then my mind goes to the fact that he’s in Eternity and there, too, we all shall be someday.
Sure could go for that second coming of Jesus right now.
Thanks, JWoo, just giving Dr. Stanley his tribute, and the ultimate one to our gracious God!
There’s actually waaay more to the story, but you can fill in the blanks.
I discovered Dr. Stanley during a very distressing time in my life, and it took decades for the Good Lord to get me sorted. Dr. Stanley helped with that.
I love the NiV, and also use the ESV.
There are so many versions now, but for me, it comes down to: which one will I read and understand?
And most of all, then do what it says?
I finally had that first NIV rebound in leather. I know where all my highlights, notes, and the fallen tears are on the pages. A precious possession.
This is beautiful! Praise the Lord!!
Awww… this is the first I’ve heard. I will miss him dearly.
My daughter when she was really little – she used to call him Dr. Stan Lee with an obvious break in the last name. (Which was always funny because of the comic book writer Stan Lee.) She has an affinity for him. In Touch Ministries has been a guide post for many, including us. When we had no church to call home, we could faithfully watch him on television.
Andy, just like Franklin, will have some big shoes to fill.
Go rest high on that mountain. For son your work on earth is done. Go to Heaven and shout… love for the Father and the Son.
Pr Stanley’s Church is now pastored by Pr Anthony George. He is good and preach from the Bible, but he is the first to say that nobody can ever take Pr Stanley’s place.

Another one went: the German tank Leopard 2A4 had its turret blown off before the battles
In the course of preparations in Poland, going down a hill, the tank stuck its gun into the ground and the turret came off.

Hello Friends
I thought of this song today… one of John Denver’s not-so-famous songs, but I love it and hope you’ll enjoy!
…’where the mountains make love to the sky’…
So relaxing. I could sit and listen to a solitary guy with a guitar for a long time. I’ve said it before and I’ll always say it… for church… give me a camp fire, a Bible, and a guitar. (maybe a guitarist too… because I don’t know how to play! I can sing though!)
I am tired of big city ways, too, John Denver. Me, too.
I’ll sing with you friend.
Can I call you friend friend.
What do you like to be called JWoo.
That’s what I would like to call you
Friend

It’s getting to be quite a lovely and formidable experience to read all the posts each day now that there are hundreds, plus going back to yesterday first to see if we’ve got something to catch up on… when I found a branch in this tree, there were between 80 and 120 posts per day. Now? Whew, dynamic and uplifting. The time I spend here has been successful in balancing life’s horrible onslaughts and keeps me Blessed and sane. God Bless America and its’ Patriots, Veterans and all those in need!

Stunning interview with top OBGYN, Dr. James Thorp: Did Pfizer set out to sterilize women
Posted on April 18, 2023
Thank you, wtd. I found it interesting that Albert Bourla, Pfizer head, has his doctorate in veterinarian medicine.
His doctoral thesis was on sterilizing goats and sheep.
Make sense now?
Dr Tenpenny stated well before all these side effects started becoming apparent that sterility in women and men was a dead certainty. She was not wrong and was possibly the first to so state based on her analysis. She was adamant on this.
And so, yes! Absolutely that was the intent. Why else would Pfizer want to hide the information on the genocidal poison they produced for 75 years??
Monsters and eugenicists all.
…I should call them Mengeleian monsters, for that is what they are.
Charles Stanley RIP

Dr Charles Stanley Has Passed Away| Moments Before His Death
I placed John 14:27, which Dr Stanley’s quotes, in an earlier reply to Country Doc this morning. No coincidence I think….Requiescat in pace, Dr Stanley. Go with God.🙏🏻
Thank you, Molon.
I loved his calendars. Loved them. What an eye he had for beauty.
Thank you, Molon, for these!
Dr. Stanley was incredible photographer in latter season of life.
Many of his photos accompany his on-line devotional messages.
Loved his story about how he got started in photography, too.
He was headed to Haiti (?) on mission trip, and borrowed his wife’s clunky camera.
He didn’t even know how to use. But from there, he continued on, progressing in skills and equipment.
Encouraging for others, too, when we “think” we have no ability. BUT GOD. He makes a way!
Here’s a pic Dr. Stanley took in Alaska:
JESUS NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES
In an earlier post to you, Molon, I said how one of the things I do, and you and others do also, is take note of our missing Treeper family members.
We didn’t see Sepp on Sunday, which I understand as it was Orthodox Easter. Two days now and he is still absent.
I don’t know if he needs our prayers. He is so faithful, come what may to post everyday…
A prayer for someone is always heard… I will offer mine for his health and well being. And I hope we will see him soon🙏🏻

Buckley the Cocker was wiped down and smells better. Today he had his ears cleaned and tolerated it well. He and Geisha also got a nice long walk around the perimeter of the 5 acres. He does well on a leash.
I put up the baby gate so Gabby the cat had a safe place here in the spare bedroom that serves as an office and that has her food and litter box in the closet. She stayed isolated for about 30 hours and then just came out an hour ago. She is staying up high on the bay window or on the hutch but Buckley hasn’t bothered her one bit.
Buckley has bonded with me! He follows me everywhere. A little while ago I just made a short run to pick up milk and cigs and Sherry said he sat at the door and whined the whole time I was gone. That makes me concerned about separation anxiety when Sherry and I go places.
He has definitely been house trained. Not a single accident today.
The shelter said he had been there for 6 weeks. They said a guy brought him in claiming that he had watched a van stop and the dog just be thrown out. But they said sometimes people giving up a pet make up stories. So we will probably never know how it came that such a loving cocker really ended up there.
WooHoo!!!! Good news all round, Rob! Especially the last 👍🏻
Glad he is getting along with Geisha.
She told him already who’s the boss and they will be palls for life now.
She told him , you want exercise , go outside and play
☘️
Glad you had a good day friend
☘️
Glad he smells better too.
He’s stuck on you already.
He can feel it .
Your the daddy.
He’s gonna be your dog 😊
Yes he is going to be my dog! He loves and cuddles with Sherry, but it was obvious that he bonded with me right off the bat. And BTW he just let me know he had to go out. I took him out and he did his business.
It was just a spur of the moment thought that made me take Sherry to that shelter to see what they had while we waited for Geisha to be treated.
BTW, he has not had a bit of people food since he has been with us. How long that will last, I don’t know. It is really hard not to give the pooches a bit of steak when I grill a couple for Sherry and I.
I figure we will have to crate him when Sherry and I both leave based on his actions when left for a short time today. That will be SOP until we’re satisfied that he knows that when we leave we will be coming back.
I don’t know where Gabby the cat is, but she isn’t in this room so she is also adjust well.
Hi rob, quick tips on crates in case you are unfamiliar. They are always to be used as a happy place (always); never to be used for punishment.
whenever he goes in there, you should be speaking in a tone that is friendly and encouraging. A treat is usually used to entice, and everything in there with him should be safe (i.e. no towels or destructible/swallowable items until you know he wont eat them).
short duration of time should be tested at first, before long crate time.
(I have no idea how to undo the bold and italics!)
We crated him last night but not tonight. He will be sleeping with us tonight. I just got myself a bowl of ice cream. Buckley of course was interested.
So I’m eating my ice cream and I hear the cat growling. Buckley went to check her out and Gabby was letting him know, don’t your screw with me! But Buckley wasn’t screwing with her. Just curious. He sat there and looked at her as she growled and hissed and then looked at me and came over by me, and Gabby jumped up into her elevated cat bed.
This is going to work out fine. Within a few days Gabby will be totally unafraid of him.
I really couldn’t have asked for things to turn out better!
Very good advise ..😀👍..,raised Labs.. works well with horses in trailers also..
🇺🇸💪😀👍
Those who feared the Lord spoke with one another. – Malachi 3:16
The Lord God sent His messenger, Malachi, to the people of Israel in order to declare the people’s wicked behavior and urge them to repentance so He could bless them. “Put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need” (Malachi 3:10).
Imagine the open hand of God wishing to give them so much that there would be “no more need.” However, there were many who said that it was “vain to serve God” (v. 14). Their arrogance caused them to reject the blessings God was so willing to give.
There has always been a remnant. Malachi wrote that “those who feared the Lord spoke with one another” (v. 16). These believers never lost their awe for the majesty of God, submitting to His authority. They joined with like-minded people speaking kindly and lovingly to each other, encouraging one another to faith and holiness.
Humanity has not changed much over the centuries. Today, many claim there is no worth in God, but there have always been those who believe. They gather together to encourage each other to boldness in their faith. The world needs to see the love and caring, the cheerfulness of believers, to realize the goodness of God.
Join with others to give praise and honor to the Lord. Be encouraged and sustained in your faith in the Holy God. Pray for governing officials of this nation to turn from the rebelliousness of the world to let the Lord reign in their hearts instead.
