Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

This thread just made my day! Thanks to all.
Mine, too! Come back soon, Intense!
🌷🌷
After being away for some hours today, dear Della, and returning to this thread, I was so overwhelmed by the love in every post, I found myself weeping for a moment. As if the risen Christ Himself had been present. Which after this week, I truly believe He was.🙏🏻💕
Was thinking about you – and read you brought your husband home.
After all you both have been through this week, how fitting that the Lord moved him home on this Holy Day!
It is just sweet of Him…
I will keep praying for you both as he recovers, and know it will be slow.
Hope both of you will be patient and give yourselves lots of grace!
I’ve noticed true Christian love on various threads and it’s comforting!
We all need assurance that other believers are there and we are united – in Christ!
Hope you can rest easier tonight with hubs home. 🙏🏻🙏🏻💕
Thank you, my beautiful Southern sister. Yes, it will be slow. His breathing which before was not good has become much much worse for his stay and surgeries. He is struggling badly, and it is this which we pray will improve even unto where it was before this week.
And yes, patience is the watchword now. One day at a time is all we can handle and all that is given to us. So we start again tomorrow knowing we are in the care of Almighty God, Who oversaw two major surgeries and was merciful.
But we have so much to be thankful for…and we are, on this for us, poignant Easter Sunday. Bless you always, dearest friend, for your uplifting messages and wise words.😘
Thank.you for such kind words, Betsy. I just want to offer encouragement for anyone who needs it!
Both of you have been through the wringer, I know. I’ve had times like that and it takes a lot out of you. Also, takes a bit to get your footing once again.
I’m praying for you both!
🙏🏻💕🙏🏻

He’s Alive
The song is written from Peter’s perspective.
You know, the guy who history says requested to be crucified upside down because he didn’t feel worthy to die like his Master.
That guy.
Risen indeed and coming again! ✝️
I hope, dearest Frank, your Easter was a peaceful and hopeful one.💕
Amen 🙏🏻
Amen.
I pray you had a most bless-ed Easter, dear friend.💕
Amen🙏🏻
Amen.
Amen
Amen.
If you like Eagles and million dollar views from eagle’s nest, check this live camera on eagle nest in Big Bear Valley, California. It is the highest eagle’s nest in the USA. Catch up on the past few months of nest activity. Blizzard completely covered eagles while sitting on nest in Jan and Feb. The area had about 10 feet of snow. @ cameras and the cam #1 on on 24/7 with infrared light not visible to eagles.
Blessed Resurrection Sunday!
I must say, this is an unusual Easter, even for this hardened northern Minnesota, cold loving old gal.
We still have 4 feet of snow on our back deck. The huge overhang of snow on our pole shed finally fell off this morning, but probably crushed our water containment barrels underneath. Snow depth in the open areas of our yard are still over 2 feet deep, and two days ago we were under a winter weather advisory — heavy winds and snow. The thick rutted ice on our driveway is almost impossible to maneuver.
There is not a blade of grass popping up yet, no dandelions, no tulips, no daffodils, no green anywhere, no nada. Teeniest of tiniest buds on some trees.
Three days ago I went to the grocery store to get food before the storm hit and got caught in a blizzard. Said “Merry Christmas!” to everyone I passed. One little girl didn’t know what to think of the crazy old lady saying Merry Christmas in “spring.”
Definitely seems more like Christmas here still than Spring — than Easter — but it is Easter, no matter the weather!
Three days ago, after shopping in the blizzard, I came home and this was on my computer screen. How apropos. I come from a long line of reindeer herders in northern Sweden, and other than not washing our clothes in the lake, everything else about the snow in this video looks exactly like our yard right now. I laughed out loud seeing others enjoying their life in the hinterland.
It’s been a long, long, long 5+ months with snow on the ground. I look forward to falling on long, lush, green grass and lying there until the bugs make me move!

Raven, Spring will come, no question. One day, June 1, in Wales…after I had planted all my impatients on May 31, we awoke to an overnight snowfall which rose so high, our lane was blocked. I know how you feel! I hope your Easter, which for me was more intense and meaningful this year, was a blessed one.
Betsy,
I am on and off this site like a mosquito, sad to say.
I don’t know what is happening in your life right now, so I read your few comments above concerning your husband.
I don’t know what’s happening with him, but know the Lord knows and is holding him and you in His loving arms. And I will join the other saints in lowering you both down through the roof and into Christ’s midst, knowing you fully believe the Creator, Sustainer and Savior is also the Healer and Comforter.
You will be in my prayers throughout this night as the Holy Spirit leads.
In our Risen Savior’s glory.
