Some guy driving a Chevy Silverado near Elgin, Texas, has 2021 and 2022 encapsulated.
.
Treehouse wife: “How was work?”
Treehouse hubby: “Eh, ok. Weird drive home though. How’s kids?”
Wife: “The usual, but Jack needs help with math tonight”…
Hubby: “Ok, I’ll be in the garage for a bit”.
You might remember this prior ad for Chevy Silverado.
.
Well ya…….🙂
One can only imagine how bad this would have been if the truck wasn’t vaccinated .
🤣🤣🤣👍
You win the internet, today! 🤣😂🤣
We were staying with family just west of Austin. We escaped any damage, but we were under Tornado Warning until 1am. The sky was wild.
Picture it, I am in my house looking out on a beautiful view with houses down below. The sky is a blue-black color with a solid overcast. Like a rainstorm was coming. Then all of a sudden, the sky opens in a kind of oval, with a light shining down at an angle to the ground. One of those things, you might have expected to see from the Rapture. I was so taken by this scene that I called for my wife to see it.
This happened, and not long ago. I tell you, folks, something is happening.
Then, I read this –
“But we shall not execute that justice fast enough and therefore the final plague upon mankind of Revelation 6:8, delivered by the 4th horseman of the apocalypse, which plague Bill Gates himself has prophesied, will arrive later this year (after War and after Famine, the 2nd and 3rd horsemen)”.

Dude has the luck of my Dad. He had a 1982 Chevy C-10 that he rolled… not a scratch on the truck or him! He ended up in a ditch/hill that allowed him to push it back onto its wheels and just drive away.
He always gave us boys (who all had wrecks) trouble because he never had a wreck. And technically we couldn’t give him any trouble because he just rolled along as if nothing happened.
A saying I grew up with : “They must be living right!”
Try that in a TE$LA.
Somebody in California already did…

Great screen name I’ve seen it on here a lot.
I’ve told my friends and family that the Roosevelts deserved a section of hell named the Roosevelt wing.
Both were warmongers and Franklin had a death toll almost equal to Karl Marx.
A Ford F-250 would’ve not even rolled over!! 😂😂😂
At least a prior to mid-80s model
It’s like the classic 1964 commercial for the Volkswagen…
But he didn’t have any heat and he had to keep scraping the windshield from inside. Been there, done that!
I had a Karmann Ghia. Same basic car with a different body style. It had the old ignition points and in order to do a tune up you had to line up the points just so. With that rear engine you could grab the belt with both hands and bump the engine manually rather than needing a helper to bump it from behind the wheel!
Absolutely Loved my ’63 Karmann Ghia ! She was 13 years old when I bought her for $400.00 , I drove that car all over the state of Washington !
Love to Say the Only Consistent Working Part of that car was the Clock 😄
Good Times , Good Memories ! Fun Car 🥰
Points matchbook problem solved.
I got many warm thank you from the ladies for my mechanical genius at university
my 67 beetle was a beast: had heat all yr round and a constant trans fluid leak coming out of the axle seals; would shift as long as you kept the fluid up; defrosters would not work even there was heat on the back floor: at oil change had to manually clean the screen at oil drain or you’d gum up the engine;
I have a 69 bug.
My wife had one of those back in the late 70’s. Every time it got near zero the gas pedal would get stuck to the floor when you’d try and start it. Well, that’s if you didn’t have to push it and pop the clutch.
17 cars in my life. That beetle is ranked right at the bottom with a Camaro Z28 that cost me a fortune in engine trouble.
Those we’re my Jimmy Carter barack obama equivalency cars.
My first car was a ‘72 Super Beetle! I loved that car! A six-pack and $5 got anything wrong with it fixed just about! 🤣. That was my Jimmy Carter car… if I remember correctly, I couldn’t get a loan on it b/c the rates were like 24%! Ah, those were the days…straight-shift, cigarette in one hand and a beer in the other! LOL
Had the same ’72 in college. Learned to do all my own maintenance – only paid for filters and oil. Sweetheart ran like a top until the day I sold it. Good times,,, (o:]
It’s amazing the trash consumers have been given to drive over the years. I’ve been in the used end (wholesale) for 43 years. We have 3 vehicles
2003 Dodge 2500 Cummins 6 speed 365k
2006 Volvo Cross Country
230k
2011 Saab 9.5 167k
Three of the most bulletproof vehicles. The Saab is becoming a problem with parts, we may need to replace that unit.
We had a couple Suburbans 300k plus but new ones have transmission and motor problems. Epic Mercedes 300TD SWs and sedan.
My mother used to say Volkswagen was Hitlers revenge
Because the engine was at the back and the trunk in front, and if you had a front end collision you could die or be badly injured because there was nothing to protect you
What, you mean that VW drivers AREN’T preserved by their own fuel efficient self righteousness? Whatever will that mean for the later Mini Cooper generations?! *shocked face*
Dad gum Mini Coopers are little race cars. That is a good car. I don’t care who you are, Mini Cooper is a good car.
I dare you to take it out in a Texas tornado, like the driver of that red Chevy truck that rolled. I don’t think your Mini Cooper would be driving away like he did.
Mini coopers are Smart cars rebadged and jacked 15k.
What a classic car! Worth a lot of money these days when they’ve been restored.
I’ve never lived in ‘snow country’ so I can’t relate to that; however, my old ’71 VW Beetle never failed to start, and it took me anywhere I wanted to go; including plowed fields, woods and swamps. Its fuel tank held less than 12 gallons and I used to drive it 400+ miles from Waynesboro, GA to NC without having to refuel. I wish I had one now!
Live in deep snow country and our old Beetle sounds just like yours.
Always started. Always. And crazy as it sounds, the snow could be scraping the bottom of that squatty car and it kept going long after everyone else bottomed out and became stuck.
Hey…I had a ’60 VW and this add speaks truth, never once did it let me down in the snow. Getting rear ended is another story.
I had a 1969 light blueVW convertible with a black top that I bought in college for $600. Drove it to from Memphis to Cincinnati and from there to Chicago in a snowstorm on pretty bald tires. Only got stuck in a rest stop once. Good times!
Photojournalist Brian Emfinger is also a storm chaser. In his originally posted videos, about the 20 second mark a Halo appears above the truck!
I would say that was a come to Jesus moment if he didn t already know Him.The Almighty hears when we pray in the name of Jesus, and rebuke the devourer. If Jesus could rebuke the storms,we also should also.Jesus told his disciples “All power has been given unto me in heaven and earth and under the earth. If we are believers and have the faith of a mustard seed we will be able to do mighty and miraculous things in the name above all names,Jesus Christ.
Amen!
Yeah, down somewhere in Texas there’ll be an extra $20 in the collection plate this Sunday.
😉
Think of all the loose change in the cab.
What a commercial!
great report except there it is actually pronounced el-guin not el-jin
MegaDeth – In The Eye Of The Tornado
Well heck, my wife didn’t need a tornado to do that to my truck.
Just DWHUA.
😄😄😄
Thye filmed this in present day San Fran? or Seattle?
Not many have been rolled around by a twister and livid to talk about it. Dang!
Yep, unless seat belted, that’s a potential broken neck and / or thrown out of the vehicle and get rolled over situation…that happens in an instant to someone almost daily, by accident(s).
Then again, without seatbelts, some rodeo cowboys ( or seal teams ) have been on many tough rides, and afterwards just swipe off the dust and get prepared for the next…. : )
Scouts motto:
” always be prepared “
FORD=Fix Or Repair Daily
My daddy used to say “Found On Roadside Daily”! LOL
Found On Road, Dead
Yesterday, out of the blue, hailstones began hammering our ranch with great velocity! The larger ones were 1 1/2”-2” in diameter. Here’s the weird part: THE LARGER HAILSTONES WERE COVERED IN SPIKES EXACTLY LIKE COVID-19!
Those stones were a long way from the baseball-softball sized ones I experienced one time as a child, but the SPIKES were abnormal as far as I’m concerned! Especially after enduring the last 2 years…
After about 20 minutes of hail, the battering suddenly stopped, and the sun began shining from blue skies.
It was as if “SOMEONE” was asking, “Get the point?”
One tough truck. Great ad.
I know a lady in Mississippi who was driving home to Arkansas when a tornado picked her car up and gently set it back down in a field. You better believe this young lady believes in God
Timex watch advertising had a line that went “Takes a licking but keeps on ticking”.
You always come through in a pinch Sundance! Love the chevy and the siberian husky!
That can just be buffed-out …
That’s right up the street from me
On the local news they showed this; reporter said the driver was only 17 years old!
And had to explain the damage to his old man. Good luck with that!
Figures. When the tornado warning was issued and the weather guy said “Take cover!” only a young driver would think that meant “in your truck.”
Probably looks like my 2002 GMC Sierra now ……………….. a little wear and tear ……………….. but still running strong.
It takes a licking and keeps on kicking.
Here, hold my beer…..
Poor guy would be in pieces if he was in a ford…… That truck saved his life! It would be pretty nice if GM tracked him down and blessed him with a new truck!
After all, he is a victim of climate change and deserves reparations.
We were hit with tornado winds while my wife was driving our suburban. In my family I drive 99.99% of the time. It was an f1 or just below. Scared me so that I literally dove, or tried to, under the dashboard and yelped like a girl. I saw a literal wall of debris leading the wind.
F N scary. Then it the car head on and very nearly halting our forward progress. The wind can kick some ass.
This kid has an amazing experience you can’t buy in stores or online!
As someone who lives very near Round Rock, I can tell you it was plenty scary. There were tornadoes forming so fast that the amateur radio weather net was telling the guys manning the weather bureau radar where they were. I told my neighbors hours earlier not to leave their cars outside and to put up umbrellas and patio furniture as the weather seemed very unstable to me. Of course, in the age of the internet, all the emergency sirens in the area were dismantled years ago. Perhaps it might be a good idea to reinstate that network as not everyone is glued to the television or their cell phone. The bizarre part of the whole thing is that I was watching the movie Twister just hours earlier. It’s deja vu all over again.
The driver can’t parallel park and he blames it on the weather???
That’s a man in the making right there!
I’m trying to come up with a Chuck Norris joke about this one . . .
Good thing the driver was not distracted with the radio, cell phone etc. Who knows what might of happened? / s
….post passing through tornado, or vice versa,
the handy rotating filing system in the co-pilot seat / floor likely needed some squaring up while in the garage. Dog gone it. ; )
If only there were more taxes,
and no more climate change and no more interesting weather stories.

I grew up in Austin TX in the 60’s and 70s…my father used to take me to Elgin for the best BBQ and sausage you have ever had.
https://southsidemarket.com
Miss those fine smoked meats.
.
Nothing like where I live, lest I smoke it my self.
Going back into the ’60s, SAAB did an ad where they pushed a car sideways off s steep hill. It rolled several times, after which a few guys came out and flipped it onto its’ wheels, a driver opened the door, got in and drove off. Long before the days of CGI – it was the real deal.
I’m amazed the air-bag didn’t deploy.
TEXAS!
.It’s a state of mind!
Pretty good. As we go into a really dark time in our nations and worlds history, a good laugh never hurt anyone.
I wonder what would have happened to a Prius?
Ever see a beer can that’s been stomped on?
Keep on truckin’!
They’re big. And they’re brass. And you can hear them clanking all the way up here in New York!
I still go for the Ford F350 King Ranch.
Well the insurance adjuster won’t be denying that claim
They found it.

Act of God, for sure.
