Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Looks like the Panther is growing pretty fast.
Fulness Of Joy
By Pastor Cornelius R. Stam
About 3,000 years ago David wrote in Psalm 16:11: “…In Thy presence is fulness of joy….” He was right, for there is no greater joy than personal fellowship with God. Yet David could not know the fulness of joy now spoken of in Paul’s epistles, for he did not know Christ, who later came into the world as God, manifested in the flesh, to die for our sins. He did not know that Christ would make full satisfaction for sin and be raised from the dead to confirm our justification. Nor did David know that believers would be given Christ’s resurrection life, and a position, and “all spiritual blessings IN THE HEAVENLIES in Christ” (Eph.2:4-6; 1:3).
When Paul wrote that God has called believers “unto the fellowship of His Son”, he referred to a spiritual, heavenly fellowship, far more intimate and precious than any previously enjoyed by mortal man. This fellowship is to be enjoyed by faith, but it is faith based on fact, the fact that Christ indeed died our death and rose again from the dead that we might partake of His life and enjoy a position at God’s right hand in Christ. This is why the Apostle Paul urges believers of this dispensation of grace to “seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God”(Col.3:1).
Peter and John both came to know much of this fellowship through Paul, who was sent to Jerusalem “by revelation” to make known to the leaders there “THAT GOSPEL WHICH I PREACH AMONG THE GENTILES” (See Galatians 2:2-9; II Peter 3:15-18). This is why John writes in I John 1:3,4: “Truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son, Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, THAT YOUR JOY MAY BE FULL”.

Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Eph 2:4 ¶ But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Colossians 3:1 ¶ If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Galatians 2:2 And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.
3 But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:
4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
6 But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man’s person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:
7 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;
8 (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)
9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
2 Peter 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
1 John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. 4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
“Peter and John both came to know much of this fellowship through Paul, who was sent to Jerusalem “by revelation” to make known to the leaders there “THAT GOSPEL WHICH I PREACH AMONG THE GENTILES” (See Galatians 2:2-9; II Peter 3:15-18).”
Paul certainly had an edifying effect on Peter, Barnabas, and others on doctrinal matters (cf. Galatians 2:11-16), just as the whole of the apostles as brothers had done and would do for each other with focuses on sound doctrine (cf. Acts 15). However, does Scripture indicate that Peter waited on or was fully dependent upon Paul to get information and understanding related to the gospel being preached, including as it related to the mystery of Christ (cf. Eph. 3:4), “that the Gentiles are joint-heirs, and a joint-body, and joint-partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus, through the gospel” (Eph. 3:6)?
After Peter shared with “the apostles and the brothers” about his preaching to the Gentiles about Christ’s death on the cross and His resurrection (Acts 10:39-43), they responded thusly: “And having heard these things, they were silent and glorified God, saying, “Then indeed God has given also to the Gentiles repentance unto life” (Acts 11:18).
Peter was later the first to be directly quoted in Acts using the word “grace” in the following contexts the Jerusalem Council: “But we believe ourselves to be saved by the grace of the Lord Jesus, in the same manner as they also are” (Acts 15:11). This of course comports with the aforementioned revelation of the mystery per Ephesians 3:6. It is evidently after Peter had expressed this understanding that Paul and Barnabas spoke to the assembly about their ministry (cf. Acts 15:12).
Furthermore, it is noteworthy that Paul indicated that the mystery of Christ “was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as now it has been revealed in the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets” (cf. Eph 3:5). Not only did this quite apparently include “holy apostles and prophets“ of the age that Peter, Paul and others shared, but corresponded seamlessly with what Peter evidently received from divine revelation (cf. Acts 11:4-10) and shared per Acts 10, 11, and 15.
“When Paul wrote that God has called believers “unto the fellowship of His Son”, he referred to a spiritual, heavenly fellowship, far more intimate and precious than any previously enjoyed by mortal man.”
There was certainly a blessing for believers during Christ’s earthly ministry who could hear him and see the fulfillment of what had been foretold (cf. Luke 10:24). There are blessings for believers now, for “regarding Christ whom not having seen you love, on whom now believing though not seeing you also exult this with joy inexpressible and filled with glory” (1 Peter 1:8). Believers also have knowledge of the gift of the Holy Spirit (cf. Acts 2:38, Eph. 1:13-14) and the successful inauguration of the New Covenant through the blood of Christ (cf. Luke 22:20).
However, even for those who have not had the blessing of receiving what had been promised regarding the means of redemption and deliverance through God’s anointed (cf. Hebrews 11:39), is it prudent to definitively assert that the relationship that many of those believers in God had is automatically reducible to being “far less intimate and precious” than what can be had today?
Look at Daniel and all of the communication he received as someone who was “highly precious” (cf. Daniel 9:23). Look at Moses who was permitted to speak to God “face to face, as a man speaks to his friend” (cf. Exodus 33:11), and was present with Elijah to speak directly with Jesus (cf. Matthew 17:3). Like Elijah who was caught up to heaven (cf. 2 Kings 2:11), look at Enoch who walked with God (Genesis 5:24).
There was also Abraham, who was listed amongst a long list of the faithful from Scripture: “These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them from afar, and having embraced them, and having confessed that they are strangers and sojourners on the earth” (Hebrews 11:13).
God appeared to Abram / Abraham and spoke to him in very direct ways (cf. Genesis 18). Jesus — “son of David, son of Abraham” per the opening verse of the New Testament — indicated that Abraham “rejoiced in that he should see My day—and he saw it and rejoiced” (cf. John 8:56).
David’s inspired psalms are full of pictures of spiritual and heavenly fellowship both intimate and precious, including many foretelling the life and ministry of Jesus. For both the past and the present believers, the joy of the realization of completely fulfilled promises is still to come. As Paul noted: “For presently we see through a glass in obscurity; but then, face to face. Presently, I know in part; but then I will know fully, even as I have been fully known” (1 Cor. 13:12).

THE RELAPSE OF CONCENTRATION
“But the high places were not taken away out of Israel; nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect all his days.” 2 Chron. xv. 17
Asa was incomplete in his external obedience, he was right in the main but not entirely right. Beware of the thing of which you say – “Oh, that does not matter much.” The fact that it does not matter much to you may mean that it matters a very great deal to God. Nothing is a light matter with a child of God. How much longer are some of us going to keep God trying to teach us one thing? He never loses patience. You say – “I know I am right with God”; but still the “high places” remain, there is something over which you have not obeyed. Are you protesting that your heart is right with God, and yet is there something in your life about which He has caused you to doubt? Whenever there is doubt, quit immediately, no matter what it is. Nothing is a mere detail.
Are there some things in connection with your bodily life, your intellectual life, upon which you are not concentrating at all? You are all right in the main but you are slipshod; there is a relapse on the line of concentration. You no more need a holiday from spiritual concentration than your heart needs a holiday from beating. You cannot have a moral holiday and remain moral, nor can you have a spiritual holiday and remain spiritual. God wants you to be entirely His, and this means that you have to watch to keep yourself fit. It takes a tremendous amount of time. Some of us expect to “clear the numberless ascension” in about two minutes.

Chapter XXXII – Calvary
32:1
Then a voice, full of sympathy, spake from a cloud which rested far above, saying, “Calvary revealeth her wonders. Prepare to witness the last struggle of the Redeemer, as he meets in death the destroyer.”
As this voice ceased, the chief guardian raised her eyes and holy hands, saying, “O! Lord our Preserver, bestow upon us supporting aid. Preserve our minds while we may witness. Prepare us to understand. Pervade us with meekness, reverence, and holy love.”
“Around this scene,” continued the voice, “gather interests as lasting as immortality, as momentous as the worth of undying spirits.”
“Let the sun be darkened, and the stars be veiled. Let nature pause, and heaven keep silence. Ye seraphim and ye cherubim, lay down your celestial instruments, upon which ye utter anthems most holy, while the scene transpires. Ye floral universes, droop your heads; and hang down your leaves, ye bowers. Ye waters, stand still, nor let the rippling murmur break the silence. Ye birds who warble in immortal groves be ye dumb; and pause ye breezes while the Redeemer suffers.”
Then appeared Calvary beneath pale shadows. A throng was perceptible, who were apparently transfixed. In the centre were three crosses, on which, human forms were hanging. Near them were a band of soldiers, seated as it they had been engaged in gaming; but they too were fixed in an attitude, as if stunned from some unexpected cause.
Mournful murmurings were heard as though at a great distance. These murmurings seemed to still the very spirit of life in all. And a feeling of gloom, approaching utter despair, was visible upon the countenance of every spirit.
At length a low whisper passed from guardian to guardian, saying, “List! Nature breathes a solemn requiem! Nature suffers. Alas! Alas!” Again, all was still. No sound or movement disturbed the silent gloom.
Gradually a pale light shone over Calvary, revealing more clearly the scene. And the three crosses became more visible, until the form and features of the sufferers were plainly distinguished.
“It is Jesus! Jesus suffers! Jesus expires!” burst from every spirit. A sudden shuddering seized them; and they bowed their faces, still repeating, “Jesus suffers! Jesus expires!”
While they were thus bowing, Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
“Oh! what love, what wonderful goodness,” exclaimed the humble spirits. “He prays for his crucifiers. Give us, O! thou Supreme, of that spirit evermore.”

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow, that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, amen.

“Adam is over the target, for his website is going down frequently. Yesterday I read a post about how the faithful church is already underground, because the mainline church is apostate. Within the Catholic realm of things, he is correct, and in the protestant he is also not wrong. The churches that get the praise of the world and are accepted are those that are mainly apostate. It is only by the grace of God that a faithful remnant remains within them.
“The faithful churches are where the praise is fervent, the ward of God is taught undilted, and you can usually tell them because people greet each other and there are kids running around.
“This apostasy runs deep. And we have to own that our generation is part of it, as Daniel did.”

The Word of the Day from the Orthodox:
How to Defeat the Mighty Power of Anger (Thurs. April 15)
https://blogs.ancientfaith.com/word-of-the-day/2021/04/15/how-to-defeat-the-mighty-power-of-anger-thurs-april-15/
April 15, 2021 · Fr. Basil
“The word of the day is “anger.” One of the traits of maturity is self-mastery. And one of the greatest tests of self-mastery is the ability to control one’s temper. In our reading of Proverbs 16:17-17:17, the wise sage of Proverbs writes, “He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city (NKJV vs. 16:32). Anger is like a powerful army that storms a city and conquers it. Accordingly, it takes an almost superhuman strength to resist its attacks. Today we explore what it takes to defeat the might of anger in our soul.
“The Loss of Control
“More than any of the vices, anger exposes the loss of control for all to see. In the Septuagint (LXX), the sage writes, “An angry man is not graceful” (OSB Proverbs 11:24). The word in Greek is a form of the word that means stirred up to wrath (Strong’s #2373, 118). The angry person is filled with hot passion. The Orthodox Study Bible comments that those who are angry are “out of control and therefore not graceful.” The word “graceful” in Greek means noble or honorable (Strong’s #2158, 197). Those in charge of their temper have an elegance that is the opposite of the ugly upheavals of the enraged.”
It seems to escape the People of this great country that the U.S. Congress does not set the size of the U.S. Congress, the U.S. Constitution sets the size of the U.S. Congress. The U.S. Constitution, Article 1, Section 2 paragraph 3 sets the representation of the People at one representative for no more than thirty thousand People.
I live in Alabama, and the 2019 population of Alabama was 4,903,185 People, according to the Us Census Bureau. That would equate to Alabama having 163 Representatives in Congress.
I don’t care that Congress limited itself in the supposed name of there “wasn’t enough room in the capitol building to put more desks.” This happened in the 1920’s If my history and my memory are correct. YOU look it up.
Last I heard, the laws of the U.S. Congress SHALL be PURSUANT to the U.S. Constitution, which means that Congress is breaking the SUPREME LAW of the land by not having proper Representation.
THE BOTTOM LINE HERE IS, “LET’S PACK THE HALLS OF CONGRESS!”
…and yet…and yet…Congress does not represent us at all, period! And I dare say that the lobbyists are numbered enough to represent more than than our current population…?
