Earlier this evening President Trump called-in to Fox News Primetime to share his reaction to the unfortunate automobile accident involving PGA golfer Tiger Woods.
Could not care less
Allllrighty.
Tiger isn’t of much interest to me, either – but President Trump is, so it’s good to hear from him. (Just wish it weren’t another Yucktube video from a useless nooz network.)
After reading some of the silly speculation on the other thread about Tiger, it was nice to hear some adult conversation. PDJT always delivers truth and positivity. He’s a seriously smart man. I’ll follow Donald J. Trump wherever he decides is the best direction politically.
I feel the exact same way about President Trump~
Something is off. Way off.
Donald Trump is silent for weeks while the citizens are abused, the Constitution is debased, and the liars, cheats, and whores of Congress and the world plot unopposed against God and man.
President Trump does not communicate with us to let us know what happened, what is happening, how he succeeded and failed, how and why his Executive Order 13848 withered on the vine, yet our hearts should now turn to the plight of his celebrity pal, and exude for him?
This is what Donald Trump speaks to us about?!
What about our Texans? The big city families suddenly without employment or their businesses? What about Hannah Fizer unarmed wantonly murdered by a sheriff’s deputy who goes free?
Why is Donald Trump so vigilant to promote the nonsense of celebrity?
God is real!
PDJT isn’t POTUS anymore. He gave you everything he had, and he owes you nothing now.
I wouldn’t blame him for going off into the sunset with his fancy toys and beautiful wife, and saying “screw it” to people with your attitude.
But, he’ll probably keep working to help people like you and me – Americans.
If that was everything he had, it wasn’t much was it? Or do you consider not securing election integrity, forfeiting any and all law enforcement power as chief executive, and being the first one-termer since pappy Bush qualifications for being the best president ever? Be in good cheer!
I will always be grateful that Trump gave us 4 more years of life, of liberty and the pursuit of happiness before the Marixists took power.
He also gave allowed us to see that our government was completely corrupted. LIke a Scooby Doo episode, He ripped off thousands upon thousands of masks, throughout the globe. Amazing how many people we trusted were willing to gleefully rip off their masks and proudly exclaimed their disdain for those the pretended to serve.
Do you not care about the wellbeing of your friends? Donald is a personal friend of Tiger and has known him for years before he became President.
Geez Ploni, you potentially come off as the type of person who loves his God, but when things go wrong you begin to blame your God…as opposed to perhaps taking a long and deeply serious look into your mirror for those answers you may wish to keep far away from consciousness.
He was sending well wishes to a friend. Sorry you are so crossed eyed.
You’re not really making the case for “God is real.” Other than that, I agree.
Maybe he is following the “previous president” protocol of not speaking out against a current “president” at least until Trump. Personally, that protocol needs to go right out the window with this fake pResident.
I don’t golf or follow golf so his wreck doesn’t have much in the way of a personal connection.
I see TW as a rather tragic figure. To have so much and pissed a lot of it away.
Competitor he is I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him winning again and That I see as a great example.
Yes, Woods is a far from perfect, even gravely fallen, human, but others should not be so quick to condemn him or write him off. Those dismissing the importance of Trump’s friendships need to investigate their charitable works – especially Tiger – then get back to us. I won’t do your work for you.
Well said..
Our President Trump !
Love Hearing him talk ,,
Sad about the Circumstance .
What a Stand-Up Friend Our President would be to Have ?
GodSpeed Tiger .
Amen Ryder Lee. Godspeed Healing for Tiger Woods and God Bless President Donald J. Trump for supporting his good friend. MAGA FOREVERMORE ?
PRESIDENT TRUMP was one of the first people to come out and say something about Tiger. Watching ESPN last night and not one word about Trump, but yet they talked about aall the other people offering condolences. Even with something like this, they play Politics.
Tiger, get well soon!
Mr. President, great to hear your voice. Very classy.
Are we 100% sure it was an accident?
According to the details of the accident released so far, it’s very hard to say it was an accident. No sign of braking. The vehicle moved into the oncoming traffic lanes and then crashed on the other side. The driver was able to say his name to the officer arriving at the scene. No other vehicles known to be directly involved in the crash. Something weird about this.
What’s the computer system like? How hackable is it?
Maybe he was on his phone.
Nice interview;
it’s a real joy to listen to President Trump; he always gives out the positive ideas, memories, outlooks, looking to see the good in things, giving words of encouragement, hope. That’s a rare gift.
Interesting he was using a car brand from the L.A. Tournament from the past weekend which he was a sponsor/host. The SUV was a new this year model for the company. Not good for them IMHO.
Hope he recovers fast.
I disagree, that car is all over the world now and Tiger survived that crash in that car.
That SUV was all but demolished, from the looks of the pictures. Tiger is extremely fortunate. No idea how his golf game will be affected but he has a loooong haul of healing and recuperation/rehab to look forward to. His level of fitness might have saved him.
Hubby is a Tiger fan though I’m not so much, but I’ll definitely pray for him.
Level of fitness ? All well and good but the man’s bones are broken into pieces.
Peg’s statement about his physical condition is an extremely important one. Muscle mass, tone, and distribution play a huge role in supporting bone structure and connective tissue. Also, his cardio capacity will help speed recovery. While his bones broke, I am confident that his fitness helped to mitigate the injuries. My older son was in a dirtbike accident some years ago. He ruptured his spleen, fractured his pelvis, and had a couple of cracked ribs. The ER doctor told us that his muscle mass and fitness literally saved his life.
Tiger is alleged to have been wearing his seat belt, and no immediate indicators were present to suggest an impaired driver. Note the interior safety airbags deployed…most likely saving his life or preventing him from being a cripple for the rest of his days on earth. Also note the front end damage, suggesting the crush penetrated into the passenger foot well…ergo, the broken ankle and leg injures.
I assume they provided him with a state of the art, new model…I smell his people are perhaps looking at finding the right “venue” to present Tiger after he heals commenting on his survival…building an image which he will incorporate into retirement.
Either way, I am sure his children are more than thrilled to have their Father still alive! And that is all that really matters, is it not?
Thank you Mr. President for giving encouragement and hope to Tiger – just like you did with Scalise. It goes a very long way and holds great meaning coming from you. I wish Tiger a speedy recovery.
Stop stop stop with giving FNC anything.
When will President Trump stop being friendly with those trying to get behind him and stick him again?
The thing about Donald Trump is that he reaches out to everybody… even the FNC audience.
Agreed, but we will continue to see these turncoat hateful news networks behave like this. The fact is…They Need Donald Trump Stories. He may become choosey as to which ones he helps, but they all prosper from his presence as he generates income for them. Hopefully, we will have an unfettered source of honest news about this greatest President and what he is doing to help make America great again.
Prayers for Tiger. People don’t need to be golf fans to appreciate Tiger’s drive and commitment to being the best. That is what America is about. His body of work inspired the current generation of professionals. His excellence should be celebrated and I hope he can return and continue to inspire.
“Woods was alone in the SUV when it crashed into a raised median, crossed two oncoming lanes“
l
He was on meds and shouldn’t have been driving. And he was apparently in a hurry to get somewhere he never reached. Smart people often do stupid things, especially with impaired judgment.
Sliced his drive and found the rough
no, hooked it, I think – if he crossed left to the center median
As far as athletes as a whole go, PGA professionals give more to charities without bragging about it than probably all the other sports industries combined. They’re also as a group the most conservative as well.
Their sport has been under siege by the crazy leftist entertainment cabal for the last few years as well. Yet you certainly don’t see very many of them spouting leftist dribble or taking a knee for anything.
President Trump is by far the best golfing President we’ve ever had and a great spokesman for the game as well yet the powers in the game have been taken over by crazy leftists like almost every major venue of entertainment. Since he’s been President they have managed to move long held and beloved tournament venues from the Trump golf enterprises because ‘Orange man bad’.
Many golfers voiced their displeasure about that too but of course you only hear the bs from the Trump haters. I have read comments by Tiger saying he played with obama once but would never play with him again. I know he’s played many times with President Trump.
Tiger, like the rest of us, is a flawed human being but is also the human embodiment of someone who works to become exceptional in a merit based world. He was not brought up as a rich country club brat, but has also never denigrated people or competitors who had more “privilege” than he had. He outworked his competition and is an image of the American Dream. We should all wish him the best, just as PDJT does.
well said!
Thanks suejeanne1! When Tiger won his first Masters and was planning the Champions dinner another former champion made an insensitive comment about what the menu might be (“fried chicken and collard greens”). When prompted to comment on this, Tiger showed amazing grace and avoided making a big issue out of the comment, opting instead for unity and forgiveness. We should all show him the same grace now regardless of the circumstances of this accident. He has children who love him and that is what is most important.
I never cared for what seemed to be cavalier behavior with women, but it was none of my business. He is a sports professional greatly admired by so many and an excellent role model for young athletes. It’s a treat to find a video of him golfing with his son. And we still remember that first Masters win and watch videos of it to this day.
We are all flawed human beings. Not many of us pursue excellence in our fields the way Tiger has in his.
Best comment!
The truly sad part about this, is that he will probably never play again after hearing how badly his legs and one ankle were damaged. And he was so upbeat doing an interview with Jim Nance on Sunday at the golf tournament.
Even with all the down falls of some in the medical profession ,there are many medical
advances.I am one of those .It will be a long haul, but he will be ok.
Thank you Rock.
Yes your REAL President showed his class again by reaching out to probably the greatest golfer ever.
You should see and hear the venomous rants from the British media even now when he has been cheated.
Your point about the golfing guru’s bowing to the baying mob is true. Over here the spineless R and A took one of Scotland’s finest links – Turnberry – off the Open Rota because President Trump owns it.
As a keen golfer I send sympathy to Tiger, he shows class unlike that little fart Rory McIlroy who insulted your President.
We used to love Rory. It seems that as Trump pickled his brain, the golfing gods took away his mastery on the course. Pity.
I remember when Rory was a particular friend of Meghan Markle’s. She’s some miserable piece of work (we quit watching “Suits” when she started to ruin it years ago). There’s some kind of just desserts at work there…
Rory is nothing more than a little BITCH PUNK.
Sadly, Tiger may still be suffering from severe drug addiction, this is what? His 3rd or 4th crash? He’s been suffering back pain since before 2010 and just recently had another surgery. He’s been in rehab at least once maybe more. He suffers from a sleep condition as well. He may not have seemed impaired but he just crashed through a raised center median blew across two lanes of oncoming traffic and traveled hundreds of yards onto someones home property where he rolled the vehicle a few times. He also hit a tree. The firefighters did not need the jaws of life to extracate him they used an axe and a haligan to remove the windshield and Tiger has multiple breaks to both legs and his ankle. Apparently, that stretch of road has a steep incline (Tiger was going downhill) and the location experiences more crashes than normal and speeds are typically high. Many of the crashes on that stretch of road are fatal. Maybe he was just going downhill much faster than he realized and then he swerved to avoid hitting a car in front of him and lost control at that point. No indication he hit the breaks. Sounds like his injuries were rather serious and he will now have to recover while he was still recovering from his back surgery. Let’s hope he didn’t injure his back. He was wearing a seat belt. The airbags did deploy as well. I hold no animosity against Tiger and I hope he recovers and is able to walk.
Just a little fact help for my friend just to make sure other Treepers get accurate information.
2 accidents (one was in a neighborhood at a slow speed), one DUI.
You would do well to read through the 12 Steps of the Anonymous Programs.
Addiction is not something an addict is ever finished with.
I am just grateful, if he was on too much medication for his back, that he didn ‘t kill some innocent person. My grandmother, aunt and uncle were all killed in a head on crash by a drunk driver.
Prayers for you and your family! That pain never goes away.
For those who are interested: I had a scaffolding break under me some years ago, and badly damaged my ankle, and wrist… The Ortho. Doc who fixed me up (J. Dunlap) obviously did an outstanding job of repair. I still have the metal plates (2) and screws (16 remaining) in the ankle, and the plate plus 7 screws in the wrist. Weather very occasionally makes the spots complain (boring), but here is the point: I live in a remote area, harvest my own firewood, garden, all on a hilly pc. of property; and yes, golf with no problem (tho’ of course not professionally)… Tiger is 40+ years younger than I am… I think he will be o.k.
Yesteday there was allegedly another car invloved . What happned to the other car?
BTW, the last time I was in California no matter how fast I drove it was not fast enough for the other rude race car drivers who were tryig to kill us with their speed and antics on the road.
Tiger probably had only a couple of hours behind the wheel of a completely new vehicle from Genesis available only on a limited basis. The vehicle is highly computerized with a lot of “diver assistance” features. Those features take long time to learn and get adjusted to. The car will do things you don’t expect and can be scary , at the very least. This is going the same way as modern airplanes. Modern airplanes will now do things that even experienced pilots are not expecting them to do, with sometimes fatal consequences.
I know this because I’m driving a very similar vehicle now. It almost drives itself. It applies it’s own corrections in turns and for lane keeping constantly. And when it senses something is wrong, it does things that you don’t expect. The steering gets incredibly light and super responsive, it can lead to gross over corrections, especially at highway speeds. Tiger was probably not expecting the cars parameters to change.
He also had a lot of luggage in the back and that changes the vehicles balance. I have no idea if that vehicle can sense that and compensate. Mine does not. Here’s a quote from the online site of the Genesis G80 that Tiger was driving (Bold lettering is mine):
“A vehicle is only as good as its ability to protect you, and the GV80 excels with an impressive advanced safety suite. Not only do these features cover the full spectrum of potential hazards, they also come standard. Like Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist,* which not only alerts you to a potentially unseen vehicle, but also applies corrective measures to help avoid a potential collision.”
Very good information, and for someone like me who has been driving for 50 years, it sounds positively terrifying! Hubby has a new Honda Accord. He travels regularly deep into southern CT (we’re in NY) for weightlifting, and says he never turns on all the bells and whistles while driving on I-84 because he can’t manage the car properly. And NY/CT drivers are insane as it is. I’m imagining I-84, on which we both commuted into CT for years, with everyone in auto-assist cars. Bloodbath waiting to happen.
I continually wonder about “self driving” cars. I have always been a car enthusiast. I worked in the service and repair industry for years and am a fan of the classics. Who is behind the push for self driving cars? Not ONE person I have ever met wants self driving cars. I can realistically see where in our immediate future all civilians will have to have electric cars, if they’re allowed to NOT use mass transit. The MASK is the gateway into a complete and total ordering about of our daily lives. Motorcyclists Beware! Motorcycling exemplifies many conservative values and our masters cannot tolerate that example. “1984” is upon us.
Self driving cars will never work because they leave the human inside the car decisions out of the loop.
An example: You’re driving a car yourself and someone cuts in front you leaving very limited room to stop. The car in front of the car that cut in front of you slams on the brakes to avoid a collision. No room for you to stop safely. You brain instantly calculates your options. Changing lanes is risky but is an option. Slamming into the back of the car that cut in front of you is a certainty. What do you do? What does the self driving car do?
Are you going to leave that decision to the person that wrote the car’s software? I certainly don’t want to! And as a matter of fact that exact scenario happened to me just today. I was letting the vehicle mostly drive, it doesn’t drive itself but keeps you in the lane and the adaptive cruise control handles distance, breaking, acceleration, etc.
When this happened all hell broke loose! All kinds of alarms went off and the dash, which is now a 100 percent digital display went flashing red saying collision eminent, and the vehicle started slamming on the brakes.
I looked in the right side mirror and I had a risky out. Carefully, because I know how sensitive the steering gets at these times I went for it. The vehicle disconnected all the automatic systems, except for the crazy steering, which caused a lot of other bells to go off. But I made it.
As long as there is the option to take control away from the guy that wrote the software, DO IT!
The first 30 years of Tiger’s life was rather charmed. These last 15 years have been a struggle. Hopefully, he grows from all of this. His reckless streak has been his undoing.
Tiger was golf some 20 yrs ago. Many would plan their Sundays around Tiger in a final round.
He did remarkable things for the game.
Charles Barkley told many parents that THEY should strive to be their children’s role models, not a professional athlete.
Tiger will be working on his parenting moving forward, whether he wanted to or not.
Loyalty – the one and only true virtue that does not bend with wind or heresy, but adheres to the person without question, accepts a person for their contribution on God’s earth, however small or large it may be.
I guess the quotation marks say it all about “tragic”. Best news is, in all probability Tiger will live (barring complications) and his kids and Mom will have him around. For better or worse, he is also an inspiration to many for his hard work, talent and concentration. Also President Trump considers him a friend and Tiger has never virtue-signaled anything else….unlike many other preening celebrities. Looking at you, pansy Rory McIlroy.
I’ll add that Eldrick’s initial downfall is also a good example to use for kids about believing your poop doesn’t stink. Karma, baby.
Sorry, I am a Realist. Tiger, Tiger, #1 Buy a Rolls, #2 Hire 3 Beautiful Hookers on Visas from Thailand #3 get them Chauffer License certified, and put them on 3 8 hrs shifts.
