The case against Steve Bannon was always a political case of Lawfare by the DOJ. Today a federal judge had to concede the pardon issued by President Trump encompasses the accusations made by a politically motivated DOJ. The case was dismissed.
(Via Fox News) – A federal judge granted Stephen Bannon’s motion to dismiss the case against him on Tuesday following then-President Donald Trump’s pardon.
“For the reasons stated above, Bannon’s motion is GRANTED and the Indictment is DISMISSED as to him, pursuant to paragraph one of the Pardon,” Judge Analisa Torres declared in a filing.
[…] Bannon and three other defendants were indicted about a year ago as federal prosecutors accused them of defrauding hundreds of thousands of donors in a $25 million “We Build the Wall” crowdfunding campaign. The Department of Justice said they were using the false pretense that all the money would be spent on the construction of the border wall between Mexico and the U.S.
The four defendants were charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to engage in money laundering. They all pleaded “not guilty” to the charges.
But on Jan. 19, just before leaving office, President Trump granted Bannon a “full and unconditional pardon.” (read more)
Obviously it was a political prosecution but did they skim the wall money for themselves?
I trust that all money was used in the interests of furthering the cause of “Building the Wall”.
Does that mean every dollar went into buying cement and labor etc. to “Build the Wall” – No, there are plenty of extraneous costs around that like travel, food and accommodation etc.
I don’t see these folks buying extravagant houses and a garage full of ferraris and mclarens – do you?
I don’t expect anybody to work full time for free. That is an unrealistic expectation.
Hillary can run her pay to play and absolutely nothing happens.
But, but, but … I saw a picture of a multi-amputee veteran on a BOAT! With a really HOT wife! That could only occur from stolen money … right?
/sarc.
That’s what I want to know. LOL
1) I am a fan of Bannon lately. The fact I was able to watch him election night and beyond is the only reason I know what happened. ALTHOUGH, really it was the People’s Pundit Richard Baris he had on that made it clear FOX’s AZ call was a fraud and that it gave cover to the 6 state steal. Really, Bannon then went on to defend FOX quite a bit even though thankfully his entire War Room did not and that I like. So he’s often just a great conduit to others.
2) I feel like it would be awesome to have our own alternate networks and if that happened Bannon would be a great host of a show.
BUT
3) Exactly where and what did the 25 mill “for the wall” go to? I’m never going to help a Lefty bring down a voice and he really, really could be a master at helping a populist movement, globally really. That said, did he bilk people for wall money or not?’
Hunter and the Bribed-en crime family plus most of our politicians should be in jail and the gallows before this small fry but for the record we do need to know if we can trust Bannon with the people’s money or not. Kinda important.
On average charities spend 23% of their donations on overhead costs, including compensation for the people operating the charity. Some charities spend as much as 90% of their donations on overhead, but don’t get prosecuted like Bannon and Kolfage. It was obvious from the first moment I read about their indictments that it was a political hit job. Classic Lawfare, take a statement out of context and use it to prosecute their political enemies. The DOJ and the FBI should be disbanded, their headquarters buildings razed to the ground, and the earth upon which they stood should be salted.
Makes sense.
Now, I didn’t know you could donate money to national defense like a wall or military for instance. I would assume you pretty much cannot. Like you can give as much money to the government as you want of course but then they have to allocate the funds.
Otherwise we could have drives to fund some air craft carriers to deploy to free Hong Kong or something.
So how can we the people fund a border wall through a political operative like Bannon?
Again, obviously it’s a hit job since we know we are now are far worse than a banana republic once they allowed Bribed-en to destroy America via his junta AND accepting 1.5 billion from China and MUCH more.
So was it money to fund fighting for the wall? In other words, to pay for the activism required to get these corrupt criminals to do one of the only jobs the feds are actually supposed to do?
It wasn’t like those companies that call asking for money for the fire dept or police which have nothing to do with them is it?
But total agreement with your last sentence, a far more important issue.
Just since I really like Bannon I would like to know if I can trust him or not and to what degree.
And regardless, even if he has grifted here or there he did really perform a very important a role in and after the stolen election. That will remain true regardless but going forward need to know who to fully trust, who to partially only sometimes hope you can trust.
“The DOJ and the FBI should be disbanded, their headquarters buildings razed to the ground, and the earth upon which they stood should be salted.”
Exactly so!
Very few charities can operate with overhead as low as 23%. That requires a significant lift from the people who work for them and depending on where they are headquartered, they are operating out of someone’s garage. It also probably means most of their “employees” are volunteers who are fully committed to the cause. Charities are not any different from for profit businesses in that they NEED operating funds. Without operating funds they may as well close up shop – and many do. The hit on Bannon and Kolfage was exactly that, a hit. Meant to inflict political damage on President Trump.
The left is evil. Pure, undiluted evil.
Don’t know. Kind of hope so actually.
Well, they were actually building the wall and reported the progress here nightly! Of course, paying lawyers to defend against nuisance environmental with donations is perfectly fine with the Bolshevicks running the SDNY!
“Who are these evil people destroying America and creating chaos planet-wide?”
It’s the same old Nation-toppling, culture-destroying, war-mongering, and life-sucking communist Bolsheviks – yesterday’s destroyer, today’s destroyer… and tomorrows.
The Bolsheviks won’t stop their march of destruction until the last free man is kneeling.
“Communism didn’t die – it just moved to the West”
Steve Banon was a political target. He’s guilty of breathing, actively supporting DJT and building the Wall.
An obamunist judge, Analisa Torres sounds like she might be more comfortable permanently on the other side of the Wall, or even on Uncle Joe Stalin’s courts more than ChouBiden’s.
There’s an unfortunate nickname.
Sundance, I’ve appreciated your sober perspective on SB over the years. Personally I think he’s still a warrior for our movement, but he felt sidelined after not being elevated to a rove like figure in Whitehouse.
Thanks for any thoughts or current perspective. Is he worth supporting or someone to root for but with skepticism?
Root for him. If nothing else, he is a really smart fellow, imho.
My 2 cents: Watch Bannon’s War Room from 10:00AM-Noon EDT and from 5:00-6:00PM every weekday and Saturday from 10:00AM-Noon… (https://warroom.org)… The show is excellent… Is he a full of himself, yeah… Does it get a little repetitive, yeah…. But it is well worth your time.
If Bannon is not full-blown MAGA and 100% on the side of PDJT and the Patriots, he is the best actor ever…. His sidekick, Raheem Kassam (Nigel Farage’s indispensable Number Two) is legit and very smart, he has great regulars (Boris Epshteyn, Peter Navarro, Mike Lindell, Darren Beattie, and others) and fabulous guests… He also features the next generation of Patriots who need support and exposure as they are our long-term future….
I’ve had my doubts and questions about Bannon in the past but I am 100% in his corner now…. My eyes and ears say he is a huge part of what is next for us and the nation….
And I am as sure as I can be that one of his “go-to” show-prep stops is The Last Refuge — CTH…. So he has very good judgement also…
Thank you so much.
Great point that Bannon REALLY finds talent that is SO awesome.
Raheem is incredible. Andrew Breitbart’s underappreciated great skill was finding talent too. Yeah, that’s cool. Much needed
That’s a great roster of talent you mention. I have to see that.
I liked Richard Baris, that blond guy that looked like Jeff Daniels (actor from Dumb and Dumber but actually a huge talent)
I’m ok with people who are full of themself, LOL. Depending. With Bannon he knows he is not young Brad Pitt but he also knows he is smart which is a fact. He’s very “every man” about it though. Intelligence directed at the aim of supporting the people. Non victim citizens of every race. The rapid fire speech is like a populist Chris Matthews without the weirdness. He is very good at presenting politics and strategy and I just want more about what we can do to help which he was occasionally mentioning during the election,
Also, I love that we get variation in our voices since the gate keepers can’t tell us who we have to support anymore. That this dumb college bimbo they hired and are trying to sex is our new news peddler. That MeAgain Kelly is our rising star. No dirtbags, I go for who is a warrior for our cause not your pants and controlled op.
That’s really what we need though, coordinated action from the ground up with our voices helping us know how to direct.
We need coordination with our boycotts, buycotts, phone calls, rallies, and donations. And whatever we do.
But thanks for the update and location and times.
And are you saying Bannon is sounding full blown MAGA and with Trump and patriots? (You’re not saying he is acting, right?)
Yes. He uses sundancisms frequently – especially “Uniparty” – and today he said “Sunlight is the best disinfectant.”
Also interesting – for someone supposedly full of himself, I listened to all 3 podcasts from today, and he did not once mention his case being dismissed.
I never miss a podcast. It is truly something to look forward to. I have dropped almost all other media because it is so mousy.
Please Sundance.
This.
I need analysis on to what degree I trust Bannon
And what circumstances to trust him
Under him, Drudge and Breitbart were instrumental in getting Trump elected. Drudge had over a billion views a month. Trump’s electric personality together with links from Drudge that then took you to fiery posts on Breitbart would get over 30,000 comments a piece and counting. Historic
THEN Bannon gets in Trump WH and he’s having some kind of battle with Trump’s kids. That should be private. And what Conservative would allow an employee to take credit for their victory when he was a spoke, not a cog and definitely not a wheel AND then start attacking his beloved princess of a daughter via his publication? It was so bad that readers begged he get booted, Bannon gets booted from Breitbart and then the WH
Since then Drudge and Breitbart have both been corrupted. The information stranglehold is upon us.
The cabal is trying to strangle our information flows
But I feel that Bannon redeemed himself for awhile with what he was doing with War Room. Then, little do we know behind the scenes he’s actually doing his best (we hope) to advise Trump and get his team some eyeballs and inform the public of our role. All what WE WANT.
Cool.
So to me there are people that are emerging as SO trustworthy like Col Senator Mastriano in PA and Congresswoman Marjorie.
Then we have some operative types betting on us which I want to encourage. Matt Gaetz. Obviously he is so effective and young that they are doing a full psy ops on him right now. I wouldn’t trust Gaetz with my life, but he is right now doing the Trump thing and not taking corporate money and VERBALIZING our beliefs. He has said and done some brave things. I want to support that although I recognize a political animal when I see one. That’s important too. I feel we need to support the politicos who bet on us because simply helping us gets them this unfair and vicious targeting.
De Santis looking strong
Everyone else is pretty much a crook
I just got some kind of ANNOYING contact from Nikki Haley but being warned by this site I know witch is a Decepticon and will treat her as such.
Sundance just let us know he’s now got a full read on what’s his face. McCarthy. He needs the boot, now we know.
I need a read of Bannon from Sundance
I really do
Never forget. They sent Postal Inspectors to arrest Kolfage, a triple amputee war veteran and denied him a wheelchair or prosthetics. They made him crawl along on his belly like a snake out of his house, across his yard and driveway. That’s what the feds do: all feds, all agencies, all jobs.
We need to be reminded so we don’t forget the evil that pursues us.
Thank you, and for correctly identifying the enemy humans. BTW, they’re still dangling Kolfage; I believe there’s another hearing scheduled for tomorrow. Never forget. As long as they live they carry the message of Communism.
I started to cry reading that. I hope it’s not true.
It’s true.
Our government is our enemy, and ANY government employee who would support, defend, enable or even stand passively by and allow what you describe done to a disabled veteran is OUR enemy.
There comes a time in life where it really is as simple as this: you’re with us or you’re not. If you’re with us, there are no half-measures, nor shades of white or gray. It really is a binary choice.
Government employees should choose wisely.
Exactly! Our military should take your advice as well and “choose wisely”!
Wow! Did not know that. Was he also pardoned by President Trump?
And here I’ve been wondering if there was any limit to judicial overreach.
Maybe there’s some hope after all.
Abuse not over reach
The Obama cabal does not want to go after presidential pardons. They are valuable (even after subtracting 10% for the big guy).
Amen
We’re in for more of this, here’s a letter I sent to my State representative and senator. Copy it and send it to yours.
Dear Representative,
I’m writing to notify you that it is becoming very evident that we need laws protecting us from prosecutors that abuse their office for political purposes. This has been ignored and now is a brazen abuse of power in the most odious, obvious, and incorrigible sense.
Now this is what happens when you let people that have never been held accountable run wild. And it will not stop till this despicable double-standard is removed or at least adjusted. These people have been allowed to go completely above the law and now we have a real problem (and they have a problem too, they’re sick in the head).
You know the old Mosaic Law had it that if you falsely accused someone, then you paid the price of the crime that you were accusing them of. I fail to see why that doesn’t apply to prosecutors as well.
Very concerned citizen,
Why is the arrest of antifa blm John Sullivan not headlined here? Here of all places. He made thousands off the video he shot of the no name man killing Ashli Babbitt. If you have mentioned it here I missed it. It came out Saturday on all msm and FOX. But not one conservative pundit or host is mentioning it. Can we not fight like democrats? Why was he there to video it right at the moment? This could all have been planned. Evidently all the good men are cowards!

Please…link to “John Sullivan” arrest as BLM/Antifa, plus him making $thousands from his video of Ashli’s murder.
Or sufficient explanation to support. Thank you.

His brother is / was Proud Boys. Supposedly were part of a NetFlix documentary (not sure what happened with that). Father was involved with the IC or is IC. Seems like a PsyOp to me.
In her dismissal the judge implied that Bannon is guilty! And according to some, because of a loophole in the Constitution, Bannon may still be charged. This is really nuts! Read the entire dismissal!
Bannon is like the new Rush Limbaugh, only more dangerous to the swamp critters. He is a man of action, and that frightens them.
I totally agree. He’s much more dangerous to the swamp because he really doesn’t care who likes him. Rush had his own crowd of friends and made millions but Bannon is probably paid very little. I imagine him living a small apartment just for somewhere to sleep. He’s a populist not a conservative. He thinks taxes should be raised on corporations and the wealthy because they do nothing for America’s working class. He wears the same clothes every day and rarely shaves. He is not trying to impress anyone. Javanka got rid of him. Trump’s worst weakness was them.
If I remember correctly, Bannon mentioned during one of his shows that he sleeps upstairs from the studio. So he probably lives and works in that building.
That guy is giving voice to so many people working very hard to turn things around in this country. As he says, “courage is contagious”, and he wants many to see and hear the voices of courageous people. His guests and Raheem Kassam are wonderful and inspiring.
I suspect he is aware of some things we may never know about, and decided the Warroom is the best place to use his energy and smarts, to help make this country make its turnaround. Bannon may be fulfilling his highest calling. He knows he won’t last forever, and said so a few days ago.
Not at all surprised he sleeps upstairs from the studio ? but…on Giza dream sheets and a king size My Pillow ?. He has definitely had an eclectic often lucrative career but now this lion in winter sees himself as the spokesman for the blue collar American. The REAL underdog. I believe he will with his army of deplorables turn this country around.
Bannon owns part of the Seinfeld show. He is paid every time it airs. He is extremely wealthy and could own his own island with all the trimmings. Instead, he works 6 days a week like a dog. Listen, he makes me mad sometimes like when Jack Maxey, who I loved, disappeared off the show. That said, what he does is in his blood.
I loved Jack Maxey too. And even though I love Steve Bannon…..his daughter is no replacement for Jack. Raheem although almost as full of himself as Bannon is knowledgeable and interesting when he gets a chance to talk ?.
Yeah, love Rush but he entertained and informed. Some action, not really though. But Bannon could be more action oriented and I HAVE NO TIME FOR ENDLESS “INFORMING.”
We need to ACT.
Country is on fire, no more 4 hour shows and 300 page books explaining how screwed we are. We are on fire and need immediate action and leadership.
I love that we have one lawfare group
Finally
More please
And anything else we can DO
I thought Bannon’s backing of Roy Moore in Alabama was stupid. On the other hand, given the outright lying by the media, in retrospect one wonders what the real story is about Moore. That said, all you have to do is go to Pandemic Warroom and listen to Bannon and his guests and you quickly realize that the guy is sensible, respectful of the constitution, smart, and tough. I was flummoxed when I heard him refer to Jesus as “my Lord and Saviour.” Just don’t expect that from this disheveled fella. Knows and defends Judeo-Christian values. He and his guests have truly galvanized the fightback against the steal. Today he mentioned Trump “finishing his second term.” Is there a chorus singing that excellent tune in America? Not that I’m hearing. Makes short work of the McConnells, Roves, and other Republican weasels. Knows his American history. No bombast, and cuts to the chase. Deplatformed and utterly hated by the Left. Those are real credentials.
Wish I saw your post before I wrote a ‘War Room Review’ above… Could’ve save myself the time… Great post.
I was very resentful of Bannon screwing up Alabama. I knew the whole scandal about Moore was crap, but most people here who lived there, explained all his other shenanigans was showboating and cost them a lot of money in lawsuits. I didn’t like Bannon after that, and sided with President Trump’s statements about “Sloppy Steve” and the other things he did.
That said, Bannon’ War Room was the show I finally turned to in those desperate early morning hours after election night. I had turned off Fox after Arizona, and then Newsmax, finally they pissed me off, then found Bannon. At least now he is fighting and staying on top of stuff, but it’s been a while since I watched the news.
His show has saved my political life since last March 2020. He discussed the origins of COVID very early on. I have found him and his guests to be the only ones who helped me through the election and give me hope for unwinding the horrible 2020 election. I do believe he has redeemed himself with Trump.
Bannon is also the only civilian to be sanctioned by the CCP – he’s proud of that, and should be.
And SO MANY who are investigating election fraud are SO careful to say, “The vote was certified” meaning that fraud will only help to change the laws for future elections. The podcast is one of the hottest in the world.
Remember, the indictment against Bannon, Kolfarge and the others didn’t name a single donor who said he was defrauded a HIGHLY UNUSUAL omission in a mail fraud/wire fraud Postal case. This means the postal inspections would have interviewed dozens of donors and couldn’t find one who said he was cheated. No way the SDNY would have indicted anyone other than a political case against President Trump!
If the DOJ says he’s guilty I have to side with Bannon. The whole good is evil, up is down thing.
Sad-but-fair logic in 2021…
Wonderful news! Bannon should’ve never been indicted to begin with..
0bama appointee that cited a 200-year-old ruling to claim Bannon was guilty by accepting President Trump’s pardon.
The same judge who let the Epstein jailers off with a slap on the wrist.
You will increase your reading material library if you watch War Room regularly. The amount of literature and websites that are touted daily from many different sources is better than anything to be found on television.
Defund the DOJ
I feel dirty just going to that sight to read that filth.
The party of wa$ting $$$ is up$et that others might be on the grift too. Charming.
This is also the slime they pulled on General Flynn.
WE WILL NEVER FORGET!
Bannon and his troupe along with affiliates of the War Room are the only conservative “journalists ” that are pursuing two main things: the origin of the China Pox and what happened on November 3rd. They are forcing the MSM Whores Of The CCP to talk about it. Lucifers Children are scared.
none of this was unexpected.. presidential pardons are heavy duty.
it was political smearing…you hard taxes at work…
likely spent AT LEAST 25 Million investigating Bannon.
let THAT SINK IN!
beyond that, just one simple question:
has a single donor filed a complaint, request for return of funds, or filed suit?
just point to one..just one.
anyone?
yeah, I didn’t think so.
having said that, we must all be careful and skeptical about how we donate…there are many scofflaws out there. lots of outright scams..
about the best way to vet these orgs is to post concerns here at CTH where you can rely on good people to provide a wide range of opinions to consider.
that’s probably what I find so valuable here …
I get views and insights and valued bonds based on great feedback that isn’t adjusted to scummy echo chamber or the typical dull edge of a low brow mob.
it’s good we share our ideas here.
the debate makes us all that much more informed and powerful.
God Bless America
Another one of stain’s affirmative action appointees, with little or no respect or knowledge of law, but highly motivated by activism.
As a former Goldman Sachs executive (Yuck!) Steve Bannon is presumably a wealthy man. It never made sense that he would be involved in a two bit grift like what is alleged. At this point one has to wonder if there are any honest prosecutors left in the country.
Also, “conspiracy to commit wire fraud” is the kind of thing unscrupulous prosecutors charge when they have a week case or no case at all and are looking to get a plea deal.
Exactly! Steve Bannon owned 28% of the Seinfeld TV show which he obtained from his days at Goldman Sachs. Obviously, the last thing he needed was $$$!
Prosecutor should be prosecuted for privolous lawsuit.
If Iraq War multi-amputee veteran Brian Kolfage used some of the We Build The Wall money for personal needs, I’d donate again.
Info on what happened and where you can donate to Brian’s case fund if you choose.
https://webuildthewall.us
One thing I don’t like about Bannon is that he doesn’t accept that there is a Deep State. That makes me suspect. Just something I noticed.
And the Clinton Foundation clearly defines that only 0.05% of their donations will go to provide tampons for 3rd world womyn. Good to know.
Chelsea’s slush fund sucks up the rest of donations
Lurker here and at TGP for a couple of years. Love this site, you posters, and of course SD.
I trust SB and the war room . Thank you all for helping me keep my sanity!
Welcome to the Treehouse MCAZ! 😀
Thank you Ad rem! And thank you for all the great work you do!
