Recently, Sir Charles explained that many Americans are good people who have much in common. He blamedthe Democrats AND GOP for creating lots of division to gain and keep power.
Sure, some were triggered by Sir Charles’ words. But more agreed with him because his argument was well thought out and delivered in a civil manner.
This is where LeBron James fails. He quickly weighs on events without any research or thought. And forget about trying to be civil.
Sadly, a lot of Americans engage in the same knee jerk reactions as James. And the country is worse off for it.
I disagree with Laura. Freedom of Speech is for all Americans, including athletes.
However, Freedom of Speech doesn’t mean freedom from consequences. So, LeBron is free to comment on world events, but he can’t get upset when he’s called out for saying something reckless.
True. They have a right to express their opinion. Too bad they donโt seem to support the right of others to express a contradictory opinion.
Societyโs failing is calling someone with a peculiar skill (handling a ball- our acting, for that matter) a roll model. Iโve never had interest in their opinion, and increasingly have no interest in their unique skill.
100%, A lost art and cause in today’s disrespectful, ‘me’ world.
He has NO PROLBEM pulling in $millions from China, who is such a good, friendly, open, democratic society and govt??? He’s a hypocrite. THAT’S the problem. Don’t condemn on one side and allow/support an 180 on the other side..

Mr. Trump, I agree. Now please tell us how YOU are bringing Americans together after you refused to do your duty to challenge the election by arresting the traitors who stole it, instead running away from that duty leaving us all hanging out to dry.
Not that I can read the article anyway. I blocks adblockers and the ads take so looooong to load.

If you ever listen to LeBron speak, it becomes immediately clear that he is close to functionally retarded. I’m not sure why anyone would listen to a word he says when his wealth and fame is entirely based upon his “lucky” genes that made him a good height and overall build for basketball.
Yep. Just this week my sister was forced to attend a virtual “training” session on this very issue….she works for a major advertising company that employs 10,000 worldwide.
60 years ago this was true in terms of “institutional racism”. I always thought how we treat individuals was the main indicator of racism. Racism is a human failing that any individual of any race, religion, creed or socio-economic level can be guilty of. The failure of the Left, BLM and others to acknowledge this is their fatal philosophical flaw.
More and more institutional racism is against anglos. Affirmative action, election process, etc.
You make a good point. I’ve been thinking lately about how the conservative online sites and media give so much publicity to the enemy.
LeBron James does not deserve a retort from anybody much less Pres Trump.
The only response should be ‘Who is Lebron James, never heard of him.’ The worst thing for any of these enemies of America is for us to act as if they are an annoying gnat or that they do not exist at all.

Whatโs most ironic, as media proclaimed โKing Jamesโ weighs in on issues of race, is that he spent his formative years raised by a white family. As a fifth-grader more inclined to football, Lebronโs coach, Frank Walker, realized Lebrons need for stability. He was a 5th-grader missing 80-100 days of school, staying up late to watch television with his teenage mother. The Walkerโs provided the structure that turned him into an MVP at 17, who never attended college, went straight from high school to the NBA.
Well, we need to start crediting his wealth to white privledge.

My opinion, Trump needs to be kingmaker over being the king in 2024 and beyond. He needs a strong ally, and DeSantis looks like the strongest, to run on an America First agenda while Trump works on being a blunt instrument of the culture war, hammering the GOPe out of existence. Really, what’s more important in the long run the presidency, or completely gutting and remodeling the GOPe, and sucking away all the Democrat voters?
Assuming anyone’s vote counts… But my position is SHOW UP AND VOTE. Make them commit the fraud and make them do it on a big provable scale. Most Americans don’t want a rigged vote. We have to battle this apathy by rallying people to be patriotic activists. THIS is where Trump has the most power, and the Deep State is afraid of him.
LaBrainless is just another typical low IQ hoodrat that only sees the police as the enemy…even if a black girls life was saved by shooting a knife wielding assailant. Had the cop been black this story wouldnโt have made the local news.

Make sure you’re voice is heard…the Democrat newspapers through Central, South, Southeast and Northeast are surveying social justice issues that clearly is an attempt to “demonstrate” there is racial injustice between black and white police interactions. EVERY question in the survey, beyond asking your racial identity, is stilted toward people believing blacks are racially mishandled by law enforcement. Take the survey and let your values and opinions count. https://www.cnhinews.com/cnhi/html_5260bbe2-9e23-11eb-9bec-0f83aa1b7984.html

NBA players make crazy salaries these days. I don’t just mean the guys at the top. There’s guys making >$10,000,000 who aren’t even in the top 100 players. While a Steph Curry or LeBron or Harden might be worth $35-40M a year, the league is going struggle pay these luxe salaries to middling & bottom feeders.

To be truthful, LeBron’s tweet and then deletion of it, makes a very powerful point. He sent out that tweet, based on emotions instead of facts (even though he could have taken the time to research a bit more and find the facts) and then after receiving backlash, deleted it. He got the chance to delete it. A police officer has to make a decision in a split second and they don’t get a chance to “delete” that decision. Right or wrong, that officer has to live with that decision. And the stakes of that police officer’s decision are often life or death, not backlash for some stupid tweet.
If major league sports want to become social justice warriors, perhaps they should start with their own sports. If they are so onboard with defunding police, let them start with their own organizations. They should remove all refs, umps and officials from their games. In fact, they should also remove all rules since that is what they are pushing. Every single one of these games would turn into an all out brawl and unwatchable. I say, lead the way and practice what you preach.

Hey Le Bron, is this the way a guy who funded a school to help black kids learn to dream again, should set an example?
Your “tired of cops shooting blacks”, we’ll guess what, the cops are tired of shooting blacks too, anybody for that matter, and your not helping. Tell me how creating more cop haters is going to reduce police having to use deadly force?
Stupid statements like “your next” only lead to increased tension, hatred, and disrespect for our police. Yeah, that’s right, they are your police too. Just ask Shaq, who supports LE, maybe you could learn something. Who you going to call in LA when some criminal breaks into your mansion? Time for some introspect Le Bron, kind of along the lines of – grow the f**k up Mr. James, and start acting like the leader you could and should aspire to be. Aim higher. Give all Americans a reason to support you.

In related news, Second Amendment activist Naj Toure makes a great point about Trump, LeBron James, and free speech.
โSome would have taken it that way.โ
๐๐๐
The left said the SAME EXACT SHIT about dam near anything Trump said.
The right is doing the same goofy shit.
Lebrons post was as much of a โthreatโ as Trumps speech at the capitol was.
LeBron James Shaquille O’Neal. Isn’t it Shaquille who is sometimes rather outspoken?
Shaq is out spoken but he doesnโt divide the country, neither does Sir Charles.
LeBron- we should show him- go woke, go broke.
I think its time to start w e to the NBA. And, boycott Nike for sponsoring him.
In addition, call out LeBron for endorsing the use of child labor to nake bis gear.
go woke, go broke will have more impact when the bond market finally justifies james carville’s faith and sells off.
@Dwayne Diesel

You must know my entire family.
I havenโt bought anything Nike in years, they sold their soul long ago.
We already did that last year when he first started with denigrating the country while defending China.
In other words, Laura Ingram was right…”Shut up and dribble.”

Because you can doesn’t mean you should. I think I was taught that starting at the age of 2.

Wow! Really?
What have you done armchair general?
Speak with facts, not emotions, or don’t speak at all.
Who would have followed his orders? The FBI, Pentagon, the Postal Inspectors? That’s ridiculous.
The President can make arrests?
Incorrect quote in post header (“good” vs. what PDJT said – “great”).
LeBron will probably run for a public office some day…and lose.
@Cole
Don’t be so sure. James could win his election.
Look no further than Congress which is full of ignorant people.
He will move to DC and become Senator James. Life is a cartoon sometimes.
If he becomes Senator he wont have to to play, which is all he has ever done. Play a game.
He’d win easily if he ran in a state with a large enough black vote or just in a black district.
Him Din Do Nuffin.
God I miss our President………………
