So, early this a.m., both Campaigns got the news, THAT IN FLORIDA, Black and Hispanics were breaking for Trump.
The next thought is, why would such a trend be confined to Florida? If this trend were to be nationwide, its a DISASTER for Biden.
Estimates are if over 20 percent go R, the D’s are toast, and I think there is a similar low threshold for hispanic loss that D can absorb.
Certainly affects many States and Districts where D have depended on getting 90 percent of these constituencies.
Many differences between Latino groups. Florida has a lot of Cubans and Venezuelans.
The great unknown is the percentage of Latino vote and black vote outside of Florida. Speculation is all over the place.

That is not a official state dmv site. It is some sort of site to make your DMV experience easier, or just make a couple of bucks to do nothing.

Today is one of those days that makes living in Coastal SoCal worthwhile.
The weather is sublime, a gentle breeze from the ocean, not a clould in the sky, a hint of fog in the early morning… our nearest “voting center” (*) is in UCI hills… which is naturally a hoot. Not many people, UCI is deserted. Went in at around 3:30PM, weather at 70F. humidity at 50%…
…and we’re stuck working long hours from home because of this coronavirus hoax. I love working from home, but I do like going out to eat.
And, since I decided to go to a voting center in person, I had to wash my face, brush my teeth, comb my hair and put a pair of decent shorts and a polo shirt -and socks, socks!!! Man, I had to dress up.
Bad thing… the car is mad at me for ignoring it. It just threw a B16 maintenance remainder ( rear diff fluid )… heck, we’ve only put like 1500 miles on it since March.
(*) IMHO they made this purposely confusing so you just give up and put it in the mail. Less places to vote in Nov 3rd, moved around. A bunch of places “voting centers” to vote for five days, drop off boxes and the USPS snail mail. it used to be easy, we went to the elementary school, got in line, showed our ID, and got to vote. Punch, punch… get your “I voted” sticker and more for the kids, and DONE!
Sometimes I drive in big loops for a couple of hours just to get out.
