Mark Levin had Sydney Powell on his radio show and ended up calling her stupid after she left. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! I don’t have time for this! Not right to her face (or voice as they were likely not in the same studio), but just a few minutes later, by proxy, when he called one of his own callers, and likely [now former?] fans, stupid for suggesting the very same thing Sydney Powell had just suggested – firing Wray now. He was likely fuming about it the whole time between Sydney and that caller as he couldn’t very well call Sydney stupid to her face.. He may have almost given himself a a heart attack as his blood pressure erupted and his face turned supper beats red.

He is by personality (not by ideology, but by personality), like those on the far left in that he thinks not just that his opinions are best (don’t we all?), but are the only opinions that are legitimate and not stupid. Rather like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in that regard.

After becoming very appreciative of him as of late, because of his switch from Trump hater to big Trump supporter, I now remember why I never liked the nasty foul tempered son of a b…ch..

I hope Sydney heard that call and never gives Mr. Snotty Pants the time of day ever again.

Well, not defending him, AT ALL,..but he MAY have been MEANING to say that firing Wray, NOW, as opposed to say,..in 38-39 DAYS from now, would be a stupid thing to do, politically.

IF thats, what he MEANT, than I agree.
However, as a “talking head”, he should have expressed it that way, rather than calling either the caller OR Sidney “stupid”.

That, was a really STUPID thing for him to do, if thats what he did.

What I heard was a good conversation with a single point of disagreement – when to fire wray.

I skipped Hannity’s “Great One” for a long while because of his volcanic emotional outbursts at times. It is easiest to think of this talking head as possessing a female’s emotional temperament. He quite easily loses it if he finds you do not agree with his issue of the day. I also find his supposed constitutional scholarship questionable after his initial support of the unqualified Ted Cruz. He will ofc argue the meaning of NBC in Article II with you but it is an empty argument when you consider evidence points to NEITHER parent being a citizen and birth in a foreign country. Cruz’s mother was married to a Brit and accessed the NIH for treatment for his older sibling in 1962. At the time to get medically treated via NIH in England required you to be a British subject.

I, personally am uninterested in debating Hannity.
Frankly, arguments about Presidential citisenship and qualification have been hashed and trashed, too.

Reality is, the PARTIES (RNC &DNC) write a letter, to all 50 State SoS’s, asserting and affirming that their candidate is legally qualified to be POTUS, and the SoS’s normally accept such letters, without question.

Unless and until THAT is changed, the argument is, FOR ME, an uninteresting mental excercise.

Not demeaning those who wish to go there, its just I only have so much I can expend time, energy etc. on, and I don’t choose this.

IMHO, an awful lot of people don’t understand, OR refuse to accept, how MANIPULATION works.

Trigger a STRONG emotional responce, and the part of our brain that engages in critical thinking goes dormant.

And THAT opens us up to manipulation. We don’t “hear” from that part, thats “prime directive” is “question EVERYTHING”, and so we assume that what we are percieving, thinking, etc. is ‘Valid’.

Understanding this, and learning to guard against responding emotionally, CAN give us SOME, not insignificant protection against being manipulated, but it requires constant vigilence.

NOT understanding HOW it works, means walking around with a sign on our forehead saying “Manipulate Me!”, like the kid with the “kick me” sign on his back.

And there are NO shortage of manipulators, eager to accomodate us.
Advertising, commentators, media, politicians and sociopaths we meet in our daily lives, and more.

Thing is, while it is EASY to see the mote in our neighbors eye, not so easy to see the timber in our own.

Again, it requires CONSTANT vigilence, to recognise and avoid being manipulated. Hannitys emotional outbursts, refusal to hear opposing views (critical thinking coming from sources outside his own head) are classic signs of someone being manipulated, and we see the same clear signs with libbies.

Manipulation is getting someone to do something they would not do, if you simply ASKED them.

If the Turtle ever recesses then PDJT can appoint recess appointments that are valid until the end of the current Congress. Typically they are confirmed at a later date but can serve until 3 Jan of the next odd year when a new Congress is sworn in. This is constitutional and not subject to statute.

The FBI is useless as it is. Few reforms or convictions for wrongdoing have been made except firing the top brass, and I fear there are many politically motivated monsters still there. Like Wray, who was hired to right the ship but is hiding documents instead., The FBI needs a real captain.
Levin is interesting but at one point he was telling to Sidney how she should approach Sullivan. Sidney was polite but she has obviously done a heroic job for General Flynn and the interview got awkward for a bit. I think it has been an unbelievable spectacle to watch Sullivan and the federal judiciary ignore basic legal rights.
Both Sidney and Levin share that frustration I am sure.

          • Jerry Joe says:

Perhaps he’s left Wray alone to save some time. Disbanding the entire FBI would be a much better allocation of time. The U.S. Marshals have already commandeered the spotlight saving lives and arresting many which we should have seen coming from its law enforcement division.

Should only take 10-15 minutes, tops: offer Wray a deal where he either gets fired and risks additional criminal exposure or fires everybody and is allowed to immediately retire with a full benefits package. After 5 minutes, Wray holds a press conference and announces he just got his ass chewed by Potus for substandard overall performance and everyone in the Department is hereby Fired over his in undeserved embarrassment. After another 5 minutes, Potus comes back out and announces he is saddened after learning we no longer have anyone working in the FBI as its last employee just retired. So he has decided it really is the best time to shut it down and happy to report saving taxpayers $9 billion annually. He can wrap it up by telling anyone with outstanding time sheets to forward them to OMB for processing and anyone with gov’t property should return it for the mandatory final inventory audit.

These are FACTS and I assume you fine folks were paying attention.

Their PANDERING to the MAGA masses after the President won, have been their attempts to maintain some kind of relevance and to be able to continue to seek dollars and clicks and views from MAGA patriots who hunger for a return to America’s greatness and to see justice restored.

You post raises an issue that confuses me.

Obama’s administration was a consolidation of power that included his DOJ, FBI, CIA, etc. all working together. No, it was not for good purposes, but I don’t see the consolidation of power itself as wrong.

I am often confused by how President Trump seems so totally apart from those entities in his administration, especially when he uses tweets to chastise them.

      • Dutchman says:

        Kk,
Your confusion stems from a common misconception, and that is that the administrative State is a part of the EXECUTIVE branch of Government, hence “his (PDJT’s) administration”.

Generally, your boss is the one that hires or fires you, and controls your wages, benefits and perks, and can chew you out when you screw up,….right?

        By those criterion, the vast majority of “the executive” do NOT work for the POTUS, he is NOT their “boss”;
        CONgress is.

Each POTUS appoints a small army of “Political appointees”, who DO work “at the pleasure of the President” i.e. he CAN fire them at any time, for any or no reason.

Ostensibly, they take leadership positions in various departments, from Defence to Labor. However, the employees ‘under’ them don’t view them as “bosses”, so much as a new manager, sent in by Corporate who is clueless, and will be replaced in 4 or 8 years, so tolerate them, but don’t take them seriously, and just keep doing what you have been doing.

As for your first paragraph, it was actually during the BUSH administration that “Power” was consolidated, by fusing the FBI and CIA together, to better fight “the war on terror”, ostensibly.

If you don’t see the consolidation of power, in itself as wrong,…well then you just haven’t been paying attention.

Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Having SEEN and experienced this personally, as well as historically, our Founding Fathers tried to come up with a system that would balance the need for individual liberty, with the need for SOME governance.

To avoid absolute power, and minimise corrution, they attempted to DIVIDE the power up, as much as possible, into “naturally” competing elements.

States vs Federal, and 3 Federal Branches against each other. But, over many years the systems ‘checks and balances’ have been eroded, and what we see is too much power, in the hands of too few, which is the inevitable result of the consolidation of power.

“If you don’t see the consolidation of powCr, in itself as wrong,…well then you just haven’t been paying attention.”

Yes, I’ve been paying attention — and yes, I saw power consolidated to do wrong, which should not dismiss nor prevent the promise or action of consolidating power to do good.

Obama’s goals were helped a lot because he had a wing man and later wing woman whose goals and visions were consolidated with his own. The Sessions DOJ being unconsolidated with the presidency was a huge waste of time.

As for macro consolidation, a majority conservative SCOTUS will far better fulfill and maintain the originalist goals of the union.

            I see still digesting,…
IMHO, the Founders STARTED with the position of “Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely”, and then attempted to design a system to counter this “natural” tendency.

So, to counter this by saying, in effect “SOME consolidation is good, if its for the RIGHT reasons” is a ‘slippery slope’, road to hell line of thinking.

Bottom line is, there are SOME people who are DRAWN to power, like flies to sh*t.

They may justify it to themselves and others as wanting the Power to do “Good” as they see it, but the truth is they crave power for powers sake, and its an addiction; a thimblefuls too much, and a barrels not enough.

They will ALWAYS justify being given/taking MORE, “for the common good”; thats the essence of the Conmunist sales pitch, stripped of all rhetoric.

Founders recognised a Tyranny of 500, is just as bad as a Tyranny of ONE.
Hence, TWO Houses of Congress, as they recognised the Power to legislate is INHERENTLY the greatest Power.

Gradually, the “checks and balances” have been eroded.
There aren’t TWO parties, inherently contesting each other, in a free and open “marketplace of ideas”, there is ONE party, having a monopoly, and just like Faux POSES as the “Conservative alternative”, one face of the Uniparty presents itself as representing Conservative policies, while actually furthering the Uniparties goals.

Congress is NOT 535, legislating in the best interest of their constituencies, it is FOUR individuals.
Majority and Minority leaders of House and Senate have absolute power over their respective Houses.

They can contest each other, for power, as intended. Or, they can join forces, and have far more collective power.

The people attracted to such positions are almost inevitably those drawn to ever more power, hence cooperation rather than contest.

To me, much of the degradation of our system comes from a consolidation of Power in Congress, such as the perversion of “Advice and CONSENT”, and additionally the UNIPARTY’s perversion of a TWO party system.

As both Sundance and Grennell have expressed, until DJT came along, we haven’t had a two party system in a long time.

I therefore join all the participants in this extraordinary celebration and all American Catholics, who see in President Donald Trump the greatest defender of the supreme values of Christian civilization: of life, from conception to natural death; of the natural family composed of one man and one woman and children; and of love for the homeland: One Nation under God! And, most importantly, he stands for defending the right to freely practice our Faith, thus allowing us more fully to honor God.

The presidential elections in November represent an epochal challenge, a biblical challenge, the outcome of which will be decisive not only for the United States of America but for the whole world.

It is necessary that all of you Catholics of America are well aware of the role that Providence has deigned to entrust to your President, and that you are aware of the extraordinary battle that He is preparing to fight against the demonic forces of the deep state and against the New World Order. I am at your side with fervent prayer, together with millions of Catholics and with all people of good will throughout the world.

Don’t want to take away anything from the successful rally, but remember that Newport News is a Navy/military area with lots of veterans and patriotic Americans. It’s not representative of Virginia as a whole, especially the liberal-dominated Northern Virginia, Charlottesville, and Richmond areas which are the highest percentage of the state population.

The Virginia state legislature voted in as majority democratic for the first time in decades last year won’t be up for re-election until 2021, so Old Dominion voters have to rally to defeat them then. In the meantime, they are still pushing 2nd Amendment restrictions, and are passing anti-gun agendas down to the county level.

“Gun owners are beginning to face heavier restrictions throughout northern Virginia as localities are passing ordinances to prohibit the carrying of weapons on some public property.

Local governing boards in Arlington County, Fairfax County, the city of Alexandria and the city of Falls Church have passed ordinances that prohibit people from carrying weapons in publicly owned buildings, publicly owned parks and at certain events that require a permit. Loudoun County is considering a similar ordinance.

Violations in the four localities will be punishable by a Class 1 misdemeanor when they go into effect. In Virginia, a Class 1 misdemeanor carries penalties of up to a year in prison and a $2,500 fine.”

They can contrast these photos with Jill/Joe “rallies” with 5 to 10 attendees and, perhaps, be herded to vote for MAGA. Most people like to root with the winning team and their fans. POTUS is from a television background. He know the subliminal message that a rally can portray to the sheeple.

So what is the issue? Doesn’t matter what kind of warrant it was. What matters is what actually happened.

No knock warrants are very important to have in specific circumstances. Law enforcement and the judiciary know this. If you know you have a criminal who is likely armed and a voluntary accomplice involved based on past actions and surveillance, you are still supposed to knock first? Nah. When they did they got shot at through the door in this case. Taylor being a police officer is not even relevant to the event other than knowing she also had access to a weapon. What is relevant is hiring and retaining a police officer who has previously and continued to violate her oath. She paid for it with her life unfortunately. However, it was her personal choices that put herself in that situation.

The “Incompetent, NOT criminal!” Defence, i.e. “it was Russian Disinfo, etc.

These are classic defence strategies, and in a courtroom, they CAN work.

While the Prosecution is generally required by circumstances to present ONE narrative of the crime, the Defence is under no such restriction, and so can present numerous theories of the crime, each of which is designed to create “reasonable doubt”, and they only need ONE juror.

Not sure how well that applies to “the Court of Public Opinion”.

Me, too. Nobody is talking much about Halper, Misfud etc. lately.

Graham is muddying the waters, NOT getting to “the bottom” (which would be his and Congressional leadetships involvement) as expected,…but too much of Congressional leaderships actions supporting the coup are right out in plain sight, so I don’t THINK it will work, long term.

And, assuming we survive this, I don’t think they will be able to re-write history. That is to say, when this is “looked back on” in 20-30 years, I think McConnell, Ryan etc will stand naked and exposed.

Rush, on Friday, was discussing the diffuse fear of young liberal women in America today.

Unlike conservative women, they fear all the normal responsibilities of life: getting married, having children, growing up in general.

Their absurd tolerance for rioting and crime in general is a defense mechanism: they’re trying to strike an obscene bargain with the criminal class they fear so much. Naturally, to be a woman is to have fear, and women without strong men in their lives certainly know the meaning of being routinely fearful.

While defunding the police (because police cause crime? that’s the trope) is what young liberal women pretend to want, what they really want is safety. The leftist antipathy to uniforms will mutate into a surveillance state. Cameras, spies, informers, secret police will be everywhere. But few uniforms.

If you doubt the advent of the surveillance state, note the nearly useless introduction of contact tracing to fight Co-vid 19. The cellphone is a dream come true to the secret policeman. How long before not carrying your phone is a crime?

Will Siri and Alexa be issued a police rank? Sergeant Siri of the internet police? It’s only fair.

I laughed at the cartoonist Scott Adams: he describes himself as a libertarian (yeah, he smokes pot) but he’s all for contact tracing.

I’m old enough to remember when no-one had a cell phone. So is my kid. What was once impossible and therefore nonexistent, is now considered indispensable. I figured if I’ve done it before, I can do it again. The phone stays Home Alone.

Or, as a mischievous Treeper suggested a few months back, tape your phone to the bottom of a seat on a city bus. Track THAT, Big Brother!

Bringing order out of chaos is one of the reasons I will be voting Donald J. Trump for president in 2020 — see clearly!

A thought accrued to me regarding the inevitably 2nd wave mass hysteria currently boiling away, ready to be dished up to us once again. Now they know we are on to them regarding the massive discrepancy between the new “wave” of positive “cases” (testing) and the number of ICU and deaths, and hospital admissions as well. So, thinking like they would, I would on the lookout for stories/sources and whether there is a rise in patients being admitted “liberally”, and/or transferred to high care at the slightest discretion – a patient might report “I don’t know why they put me high care, I was fine??” Apologies if my faith in our health care system is somewhat dimmed. They NEED those numbers to continue the fear, and get their mail in – and they’ll do/say anything to ensure the sheep remain fearful.

The health care workers I know are just as fed up as we are and would never use patients as pawns in a political game. Most of the doctors who are sick enough to do something like that no longer work in patient care, hospitals try to weed out the sociopaths like Fauci. They end up doing research or working for the government.

made a long thread about it implying things.. I guess some responded with
“the clinton foundation” to which he acknowledged yes they made things worse.

But watch the question see if they bring up her adoption.
POTUS should make a tweet saying .well Amy would not be the only

we be fair and check out that as well..that would shut them up.

There was a movie in the 90’s about this. Jessica Lange adopted a black baby who had been abandoned. Later the mother, Halle Berry, cleaned up and wanted to get her son back. By now he was 4 and the only family he’d ever known was white. Samuel L. Jackson played the lawyer who argued that a white family couldn’t possibly raise a black child properly. The mother won custody. However, in the end she had to call the adopted mother for help, it seems the little boy didn’t react well to being taken away from the only family he’d ever known. The message was that love is what matters, not skin color.

Amazing how we have the same people working in Hollywood today as we did then, and they’ve all changed their tunes so completely. Now it’s all about skin color for them, nothing else matters. It’s the definition of racism.

Now some irrelevant leftist named Brougher (attempting to use his own history as an adoptee) is arguing that trans-racial adoption is always “fraught with trauma and potential harm” making ACB’s adoptions “deeply concerning.”

Archbishop Viganò: Trump is ‘preparing to fight against the demonic forces of the deep state’

‘The presidential elections in November represent an epochal challenge, a biblical challenge, the outcome of which will be decisive not only for the United States of America but for the whole world.’
    Wed Sep 23, 2020 – 12:52 pm EST

Editor’s Note: The following is a note the Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò sent to the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast (NCPB), which was held today. The event organizers declined to read it aloud at the event, which this year took place online. LifeSiteNews publishes it in full below.

September 23, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – With deep emotion I have learned that President Donald J. Trump will be taking part in the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast on 23 September.

On this occasion, Attorney General William Barr will receive the NCPB’s Christifideles Laici Award (Christ’s Faithful Laity), named after the Apostolic Exhortation On the Laity by Pope John Paul II.

I would like to make myself present on this memorable occasion, in which I participated with great enthusiasm as Apostolic Nuncio during the years of my mission in Washington, D.C. (2011-2016).

Our trust rests in God, the Almighty, whose right hand always works wonders.

In preparation for the battle “against the demonic forces of the deep state and against the New World Order”:

    Psalm 91…. King James Version
1.He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2.I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3.Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4.He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
    5.Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6.Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7.A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8.Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
    9.Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10.There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11.For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12.They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13.Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14.Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15.He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16.With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
