Why is Bill Barr so opposed to POTUS commutation of Roger Stone.?
He has said all along his conviction is justified..yet any of the coup plotter
is decline to prosecute for doing what Roger did?

Also why does Roger want a new trial..it likely would end as the old one did
and if POTUS not in office then he can;t commute or pardon Stone? Isn;t it
    a risk.?

Stone was not allowed to raise as a defense that the government can’t prove that the Russians hacked the dnc server. The corrupt judge simply entered as fact the government assertion that it was so. This is one of the issues he’s raising on appeal. Since his conviction the transcripts of the house hearings have been released. In the house hearing the crowdstrike founder admitted under oath that they had no proof that the Russians took the emails. That hearing and specifically that answer have gotten very little attention. However, we now know that there is no proof, and that crowdstrike knew that all along . All the corruptocrats keep on keeping on like that never happened. But it did happen. And that means that the whole thing is made up. We knew that but now we have sworn testimony, and we know they knew a long time ago. Seth Rich is still waiting for justice.

The problem with Barr is this. If Barr believes Stones conviction was justified it means he believes the Russians hacked the DNC. So Barr is playing along with the DS though they have never examined the servers and Crowdstrike admitted they had no concrete evidence. Without proof ( concrete evidence) it’s just conjecture. So Barr is willing to send this man to prison on conjecture? Lying to Congress? Please. The DOJ and FBI consistently lied throughout this entire charade. Even Congress has been lying.
      Still trust Barr?

      • Haven’t trusted him BECAUSE OF LACK OF ACTIONS AND RESULTS.

In fact, with his background in the CIA, working for Bush and protecting the swamp (Google Barr Ruby Ridge) and his current cover up (Barr has had authority for 14 months to declassify and only did so if absolutely forced to) and zero indictments with 10 times more evidence against McCabe, Wolf and others than Roger Stone ….

We must look at people’s actual track record and refuse to only listen to them or we keep on being fooled.

Day served as executive director for the Minnesota DFL party for eight years; he previously helped run state presidential campaign operations for John Kerry, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, and served as a senior advisor on Biden’s primary campaign in Minnesota.

Ryan Doyle will serve as state director for the Biden campaign in Minnesota. Doyle previously worked on Keith Ellison’s 2018 bid for Minnesota Attorney General and Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s presidential primary bid.

Misha Battiste will serve as Coalitions Director in Minnesota. Battiste was Deputy Political Director for Sen. Tina Smith in 2018, and also worked with the Warren presidential campaign earlier this year.

The media and democrat politicians have been at big time odds with the TX DPH as they only report results of tests and so far those results are magnitudes less than hyped 50,000 per day (but no time period or data) reported on 3 July and 10,000 infected record for some unnamed day reported on 6 July.

The TX DPH folks and governor have shown a total lack of backbone and common sense in the face of the hype, that is true. Yet, they report data that is at odds with the hype in the Media..

Total hospitalized 18,271= 7% of positives , 0.7% of all tested, 0.09% of population

Death total 4242= 0.16% of all tested, 1.6% of positive, 0.02% of total population

Deaths dropping like a rock after the “restatement” beginning on July 7th. Article below shows how its done and why the latest death toll restatements are even more flimsy than the earlier ones. The death accountants using prior deaths to prop up current stats.

Deaths off COVID tracking website for US (interesting all these tracking sites have different numbers):

      7/12 – 476
      7/11 – 757
      7/10 – 854
      7/9 – 867
      7/8 -897
      7/7 – 922

FYI, peak was 2700 dead a day, averaging ~2K dead a day in late April/early May and the trend line has been dropping ever since, now that the Democrat governors stopped packing old age homes with China Flu victims.

    • Deplore Able says:

Before you freak about the 15,000 new cases in Florida reported Sunday, pay attention to how the number of new cases track the number of tests reported. Just a couple of examples.

June 30: 45,408 tests, 6565 new positives, 15.41% of tests positive.
July 3: 85,073 tests, 11,383 new positives, 14.11% of tests positive.
July 11: 142,981 tests, 15,299 new positives, 11.25% of tests positive.

When you triple the number of people tested, you end up with close to three times the number of positives. Is that surprising?

If Florida is so out of control, why is the percentage of people testing positive decreasing?

    • RunnerMom in Idaho says:

These are all questions I bring up daily, here in Idaho. Our local newspaper, every morning, says cases are rising but nowhere in the article ever does it break down asymptomatic, those in the hospital, those no longer having the virus. It only talks about the rise in numbers as if the sky is falling. I’ve also read that the fatalities are falling. My personal opinion is that after many months of being isolated, people are getting out and *maybe* herd immunity is taking place. Even though cases are rising and the media loves reporting these numbers, the death rate is falling (but media won’t report this)

It is especially hard because high school fall sports are supposed to be starting up soon and noone is making the call on what to do of when sports begin this year. It will take just one school to decide and perhaps others will follow. But no, everyone sits on their hands and talks – that’s all they do – talk about opening the swim season two weeks later; switching the spring sports to the fall sports. We have competitive swimmers and one who is trying so hard to earn a scholarship for swimming but this stupid inablity for school boards to decide is wreaking havoc on our local sports and HS sports all across the country. So frustrated by all of this. The media breathlessly reports that Boise State athletes have returned from summer break and three new positive virus cases. Then, further in article, it says all athletes are asymptomatic. I just pray daily that someone will “man” up, decide on sports, stop the sky is falling narrative and just realize that this virus is here to stay and like others, we must get out, our bodies must acclimate and allow our immune systems to adapt and we must do this as a population, in general.

    America’s Useful Idiots
    13 Jul 2020

“Useful idiots” is a phrase attributed to Vladimir Lenin, who supposedly used it to describe communist sympathizers in Western Civilization.

So, why do you tear down statues of Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, or memorials to Black soldiers? Only one answer, you’re a useful idiot.

America’s useful idiots want to embrace a philosophy of governance that is the antithesis of the liberty and freedoms that they enjoy. Do not believe me? Well, how about our woke little temper tantrum kids take a trip to Hong Kong. There you will find young people resisting the very ideology that our young people want to live under. How about our useful idiots talk to those Venezuelans who now reside in the United States, like former Miss Venezuela Carmen Maria Montiel, and learn just how awesome socialism truly is.

America’s useful idiots are busy searching and destroying anything that they claim is connected to systemic racism. Then why are these little cherubs aligning themselves with the Democrat Party? If we were to do a truly historical analysis of the Democrat Party, you would find the real purveyors of systemic racism in our country. I could go on, but think about the history of a political party that voted against the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments. A political party that created our first domestic terrorist organization, the Ku Klux Klan — oh, yeah, they created the second one also, Antifa.

The KKK was established to prevent freed Blacks, thanks to Republican efforts, from voting – Republican! Heck, the first Congressional Black Caucus was not Democrat. Jim Crow, segregation, lynching, all the darkest moments in U.S. history are tied to the very political party of which these useful idiots belong.

And just a reminder, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 passed because of a Republican Senator, Everett Dirksen. The longest filibuster in U.S. Senate history was done by Senate Democrats seeking to block the civil rights bill from even getting to the Senate floor. And West Virginia Senator, Robert Byrd, was one of them. He was a Grand Wizard in the KKK. He never switched political parties. He was praised by people such as Bill and Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden. Yet Byrd’s statues and memorials have not been targeted for destruction — why?

    Yes, useful idiots.

How did we get to this point? Simple, we stopped teaching history and civics. Those subjects were replaced with social studies, which is just the study of leftist ideological agendas. Our education system is no longer based upon learning, educating, it is focused on indoctrinating. Leftists have overtaken our school boards, the most important elected positions in America. Yet, it is the elected position that routinely has the least amount of voter participation.

Lenin was correct. Western Civilization would topple because of useful idiots advancing the ideals of socialism, communism, and Marxism. And it began in the halls of our academic institutions. The irrational emotionalism that is spreading like cancer across America is quite disconcerting, utterly illogical.

FTA “How could these former “conservatives” not support President Trump’s 200 conservative judicial appointments? He has rolled back business-crushing regulations and restored America’s military might and morale. He stands solidly for life and is one of few Republicans mounting a vigorous defense against the cancel culture which is rewriting the history of America’s founding and castigating its exceptionalism….He has walked the conservative walk better than any elected Republican since Ronald Reagan, certainly better than most current elected Republicans. Yet NeverTrumpers oppose him in favor of a Democratic Party further left than at any time in its history….I do not recall the NeverTrumpers endorsing Obama and his policies, in fact some were actively working against Obama. Yet their hatred of the Orange Man is so over the top that they are now endorsing an older demented version of Obama and a far more radically left party compared to 2008….What happens if the NeverTrumpers get their wish? If Biden wins, his coattails will likely give Democrats control of the House and Senate. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer would immediately eliminate the filibuster, giving Democrats full control of the Executive and Legislative branches of government, with the Judicial branch soon following….Taxes could be raised with impunity, regulations added without resistance. The Green New Deal and Medicare-For-All would easily become law on a party-line vote. Democrats want to expand the Supreme Court and with full control of Congress, could easily confirm a Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Lawrence Tribe, or Michelle Obama to the high court, creating a permanent far-left majority to rewrite the Constitution. ….NeverTrumpers are happily helping to burn down the lone gate between America the beautiful and anarchy.”

Quotes from the above NY times article about Democrat WA Senator Henry M. Jackson (the strong military supporter):

“…after suffering a massive heart attack. He was 71 years old…”

“…Mr. Jackson died hours after he called a news conference in Everett to deplore the downing of a South Korean airliner by a Soviet fighter plane…”

“…The Senator, who had been considered in good health and was known as an energetic man, had just returned from a two-week trip to China and talks with Chinese leaders…”

The Republican Governor of Washington appointed “Republican” Daniel J. Evans to fill the term Democrat Senator Henry M. Jackson. The Wiki article about Evans states:

“Despite being a Republican and a self-styled conservative, Evans became known for his administration’s liberal policies on environmental protection (he founded the country’s first state-level Department of Ecology, which became Nixon’s blueprint for the federal EPA) and strong support of the state’s higher education system, including founding Washington’s system of community colleges. He fought unsuccessfully for a state income tax.[4]”

From a book: “Last week, Daniel J. Evans, former Republican Senator and Governor from Washington, said as a member of the National Academy of Science study panel on global warming, “Population is the single biggest driver of atmospheric pollution.”

Daniel J Evans was Governor of Washington from 1965 to 1977 and headed a trip of Governors to China for President Nixon.

From a book titled “My First Impression of China: Washingtonians’ First Trips to the Middle Kingdom”:

“In May 1974, Nancy and I joined five other governors and their wives for the third official U.S. trip after the reopening of diplomatic relations, following President Nixon’s historic visit and trip by Senate leaders. As chairman of the National Giovernors Conference, I selected five governors to accompany me, and we were joined by State Department China experts…

“…None of us were fully aware of the struggle for leadership as Chairman Mao’s health declined. We were informed by Liaison Office experts that Deng Xiaoping appeared to be gaining strength. However, as we entered the Great Hall of the People we were led to a huge ornate room to meet Vice Premier Li Xiannian, a jovial and pleasant elder statesman and rival of Deng Xiaoping. Li successfully steered a central course between competing factions and later became President of the People’s Republic of China…”

“…We had traveled for two weeks with our Chinese hosts and built strong acquaintanceships especially at the dinner tables, This was our last night together, As we left, I believe we all felt that the barriers of language and culture dissolved with the close contact and mutual help of the past two weeks”

Interesting coincidence: Soviets shoot down South Korean plane. Democrat Neo-Con WA Senator condemns and suddenly dies after calling a press conference which occurs shortly after visiting China. He is Replaced by a “Republican” who had a great visit to China a decade before. Hmmmmmmmm.

We locked you down, shut your schools, put you out of business and left 31 million of you without a job except, of course, our precious government workers.

Now you will pay…and pay again and again until you are left living in the street

Nashville Mayor John Cooper is openly proposing raising property taxes by 32% in order to correct an estimated $250 million budget shortfall.
“”There is no choice but to have a significant increase in property taxes,” he said. “Measured in a percent, it’s going to be on the order of more than 20 percent to be sure.”

Dallas, TX is looking at a proposed 8% increase in property taxes, and is having to work a loophole that allows them to ignore state law which would prevent them from raising taxes more than 3.5%.

Expecting a $700 million shortfall, Chicago’s Mayor Lightfoot has said that a property tax increase is ‘on the table.’

California is considering a partial reversal of Proposition 13, which would allow government to assess commercial properties differently, creating an increase in property tax revenue without actually increasing the property tax rate.

Other initiatives include “Arizona, where taxes would be raised on incomes above $250,000 to boost teacher salaries; Colorado, which is targeting corporations for at least $151 million in taxes to fund out-of-school learning; and North Carolina, which would issue bonds worth $1.9 billion in part to pay for school capital improvements.”
New York is pitching the idea of tax increases for wealthier people.

New Jersey is expected to see an unknown increase in taxes as the governor moves to borrow billions of dollars to cover budget gaps.

CNBC reports that many states across the nation will be looking at tax increases in many areas, including corporate income taxes, online purchases, excise and sales taxes, property taxes, and gross receipts taxes.

Raising property taxes is part of urbanization to eliminate personal property and move populations into government controlled housing and transportation.

A preview of where this is going……….

A relative of mine in Europe sacrificed and worked to buy a house about 5 years ago – very difficult to do anymore even though they both have professional salaries. Price was high and mortgage huge. Property taxes and the appraised value has gone up each year since.

He got a letter from the local tax enforcer saying that they know it is a burden, and, if the tax is now too high for him to pay, they have a new program where the government will buy his land and lease it back to him. No modification to the mortgage needed.

Yesterday, Sunday, i watched a ‘binge’ all day showing of The Untouchables on a local entertainment channel. The series ran from 1959 to 1963 and was narrated (a la old time radio) by Walter Winchell.

Eliot Ness went after Al Capone from 1930 to 1932 – Wikipedia says The Untouchables were special agents of the U.S Bureau of Prohibition.

So, this morning quick review of RedStateWatcher lists a number of ‘murders’. Same on the MSM landing page. Some also on TCH

What strikes me is that we have come full circle. The TV show was full of gangsters machine-gunning each other, killing Feds and Feds killing them.

And we think we are ‘civilized’

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — A U.S. district judge on Monday ordered a new delay in federal executions, hours before the first lethal injection was scheduled to be carried out at a federal prison in Indiana. The administration immediately appealed to a higher court, asking that the executions move forward.

U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan said there are still legal issues to resolve and that “the public is not served by short-circuiting legitimate judicial process.” The executions, pushed by the Trump administration, would be the first carried out at the federal level since 2003.

Black Lives Matter roadway murals defaced in Vermont, state police say
    Jul 8, 2020

Three Black Lives Matter roadway murals in Vermont were defaced, state police say.

On Monday morning, a state trooper discovered that two of the murals had tire burnouts over the them, while a third had been defaced with white and brown paint, according to a state police press release.

The vandalism comes after similar incidents in Maryland and California. In Baltimore, chalk messages by elementary school students in support of “Black Lives Matter” were washed away by adults. And in Northern California, two people face hate crime charges for painting over a “Black Lives Matter” roadway mural.

The defacements are being investigated as potential bias-related incidents, the press release said.

I have no idea what happened to freedom of speech in this country. Once upon a time it applied to everybody. Now it is selective? It is “our fault” no one elses….”we” have done nothing but stand by crying in our milk and watch it creep in inch by inch.

If only our wonderful VSGDJTPOTUS President was running the Country for the 2 decades this craziness would have never gotten off the ground. Umm wait a sec it would have taken more that one person so ummm guess we’ve been doomed for quite a long time as there is no one else who has the desire and intestinal fortitude
to do what is right for our wonderful country.

Our freedom to speak our minds is under attack. Like the Thought Police of George Orwell’s 1984, powerful special interest groups on the Left are mounting a withering assault on our rights in the name of “social equality.” Liberty has been turned on its ear as the rights of the few restrict the freedom of everyone. In “The New Thought Police, author Tammy Bruce, a self-described lesbian feminist activist, cuts through the deluge of politically correct speech and thought codes to expose the dangerous rise of Left-wing McCarthyism. Provocative and persuasive, this book is a clarion call to anyone interested in preserving liberty.
