The answer is yes, if you are an alcoholic.

The primary site of infection is the gastrointestinal tract not the lungs. Alcoholics break down hydrocarbons in the small intestine not the stomach. This makes the gastrointestinal tract inclement to the virus.

And more bad news. Nicotine appears to be a more powerful prophylactic than Hydroxychloroquine. Despite 60% of males in China being smokers, only 7% of those hospitalized for the Wu from Fluhan were active smokers.

(Note: I am not promoting alcoholism or smoking. Just drink green tea after taking zinc, vitamin C and vitamin D supplements and you will be fine. I’ll just soldier on with the 18 year single malt Laphoraig …)

Sorry to take issue with your poem, but even though I’m still not sold on the idea that Barr is any good, to tie the timeframe of 4 years to him and Durham is just plain dishonest. Barr hasn’t been on the job that long and Durham even less. If we’re going to attack someone, let’s at least have our facts straight. Anything less makes our argument worthless.

I took the last couple of days off and devoted them to watching the two President Trump events; the lead up to the events and the speeches themselves. .

At both his speeches, President Trump had a different projection and I’ve been contemplating it because it was something I hadn’t seen before. It finally occurred to me that President Trump was presenting the projection of a President at war. He was deadly serious and concise; he defined several enemies specifically. Among other things, the educators that lie to our children, the looters and rioters, the people who are desecrating monuments, the lying propaganda media to name a few. There was a long list within both speeches.

Everyone and everything named in President Trump’s speeches should be shitting bricks right now along with the traitors in government at all levels that enable them. President Trump is getting ready to destroy them, just as he destroyed the two most wanted and evil terrorists and he stated that HE/WE will WIN! I don’t know what he has in mind but I know that President Trump always prevails. These speeches put them on notice. President Trump is coming and HELL is coming with him! I have no doubt.

Reflecting on those two and the many other speeches President Trump has given in the past 4+ years (generally not specifically), It is hiding in plain sight, that the “people” lag far behind his understanding and need to catch up with him, if this war is to be won.

PDT, being light years ahead of the sheeple and many, many months ahead of his followers; means that If we knew in early 2016 what he was clearly stating (i.e. if we truly understood the magnitude and significance), he would have been able dismantle the corruption by now. Because a great wave of change would be DEMANDED by the majority and all hell to pay if that change was slow to come.

The scum floating at the top of society are winning the battle because of the indifference of the people. When that indifference changes and the people catch up – we win.

I agree FL_GUY, PDT through his rallies and speeches provides clarity of purpose – which is to take down the corrupted system. He simply needs enough people to grind the message home to those who stand to loose most, that their time in power, is over. Amen.

“The scum floating at the top of society are winning the battle because of the indifference of the people. When that indifference changes and the people catch up – we win.”

IMO, indifference isn’t the issue. I think the real reason is that younger generations are no longer well educated. Many voters are basically illiterate with poor reading/comprehension skills (many at a 5th-6th grade level) because public education has IMO deliberately failed to teach our young people the fundamental basics of Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic.

If a person can’t read and truly comprehend what they’ve read, how does that person figure out who to vote for? I can read but trying to sort through all the information about candidates this year when trying to decide whom to vote for in our primary left me confused and with no reliable, readily available source of information.

WV has a Republican Gov but many within judicial and law enforcement are Democrat. And I’m not saying Democrats can’t be good Americans. What I’m saying is there is no place to go for easy-to-understand, readily available, transparent information on ALL candidates regarding ALL positions at ALL levels of government so that poorly educated voters who struggle with reading/comprehension skills can make informed decisions. People here still vote Democrat because their parents voted that way 50-60-70 years ago.

Somehow this needs addressed. I also don’t understand how any position can be considered “nonpartisan” because you and I know full well that being nonpartisan is NEVER going to happen. Our corrupt human nature is always going to lead us to favor whatever each person believes best for themselves. IMO, ALL candidates should be required to list their party affiliation regardless of whatever position it is they hope to win.

It all boils down to being able to easily comprehend whatever information is presented by whatever means it is presented. To reach the general public, the message is going to have to be so simply stated that very, very young people can comprehend it because those are the ones who are going to become voting adults. If material can be presented at that easy level, we reach not only children but EVERYONE regardless of their age.

America’s biggest failure is her lack of well-educated citizens (i.e., educated in the 3 basics).

Please, Treepers, provide corrective feedback wherever my reasoning is flawed. A person can only grow if those with greater knowledge share it with those who lack — but if those who lack can’t comprehend the greater knowledge being shared because it isn’t presented at a level that reaches down to where we’re at, then we’re still left in the dark.

A solid basic foundational EDUCATION is the KEY.

The definition of Democrat has changed to hating America first, to killing off the unborn, to debasing the poor into a permanent class of dependents, to controlling the population as much as possible rather than letting the people be free, and to de-braining the electorate through constant lying propaganda in order to achieve the above.

Ausonius: TY for your feedback, and I agree with you in part. If a person is a well-educated fully awake DEM, then I don’t think they can remain in that party supporting its candidates and be a “good” American.

What I think is that many of our American brothers and sisters are not well-educated because of how public schooling has failed to teach a solid foundation of the basics. If people don’t have those basic skills to begin with, how do they find their way out of all the lies and disinformation out there today?

IMO, ignorance due to the lack of a well-grounded basic education (because of the lack of responsible public schooling) doesn’t make a person a “bad” American, just a person who is not going to be able to figure out ballots, and so more than likely will just vote the way their parents voted, etc., which is what happens here in WV (at least from some of the people I’ve spoken with telling me they vote the way their parents did; IOW, once a Democrat, always a Democrat). And we full-well know there are many Republicans who aren’t any better than Democrats — otherwise, President Trump would have had their support during his candidacy and his nearly 4 years of trying to undo all the evil that has been done to our nation because of the UNIPARTY’s agenda.

I just don’t see how poorly educated citizens can be reached unless information is made readily available to them at their level of comprehension, which would also reach the younger generations who will eventually grow up to either become: voters doing the electing or candidates themselves running for offices throughout America.

I see a lot of the problem as a lack of social integrity on OUR parts as conservatives rather than just lack of education on THEIR parts. How many of us (not me) keep silent or change the subject when they have friends and family spout off anti-Trump or anti-American nonsence? Or desperately try to avoid any kind of political discussion for fear there will be some kind of confrontation, even if addressed on our part with proper language and control?

So many of us (not me), can speak eloquently of American courage and virtues yet cower before the emotional need to keep the peace. Take a stand and live with the consequences — that’s called integrity! Until we do so the Dems will be comfortable in their own little bubbles and never be red-pilled, no matter how much educational opportunities are out there.

Absolutely. Along with neutering the media, taking back our education system and improving it is the main ingredient for a future of a free America, imo. So far, not enough citizens realize the danger they are floating around in and that needs to change quickly.

I’m praying Pres. Trump gets his second term and a lot of progress will be made in getting our educational institutions back on track and finally EDUCATING our kids properly once again. The generations coming along in America seem to be some of the least educated kids in the first world societies and it must change for their sakes and their futures.

I agree. I read once that if by grade 3, a child does not have the basics down to the point where those skills are automatic (i.e, not having to take any time to stop and think about the ‘answer’) then they will fall further and further behind in school because after 3rd grade, lessons and information starts coming at them much faster.

Our enemies went after our children nonstop at the youngest levels because they knew they were never going to change adult Americans. This has been going on now for many decades, probably since the 60s and we are now reaping what was sown in our midst while we fell asleep at the wheel. I pray with all my heart that America makes it out of all of this. Only God knows for sure what is going to happen to our nation. He gave us President Trump for such a time as this in our nation — but also for such as time as this in regards to Israel, too.

P…. You bring up a key factor that prevents many people from seeing the truth….. a “lack of comprehension.” Your comment reminded me of a thought I had while researching candidates for the upcoming primary and also prior to previous elections.

A simple thought (don’t laugh): Since many of us want to support our President by choosing America First candidates at the local, state, and national level, I try to figure out who is the best of the bunch, but it’s next to impossible to do that when I don’t trust any media or the usual resources. I wish there could be a Seal of Approval from the President. You know, like the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval that used to be popular. Political signs are popping up in town. Oh, to know which ones the President would vote for if he were me!

I know, simplistic. And we are supposed to think for ourselves. But, as recent events, anecdotes and personal interactions point out quite vividly, a vast number of voting Americans do not know how to think and those who can think, also can be easily tricked into voting for a candidate who isn’t committed to making or keeping America great. I fear being in the latter group.

rvsueandcrew: Simplistic is exactly what IS needed because of how hard it is to comprehend all the nuances and complexities that exist now in our nation when everything is clouded with lies and misinformation. I finally went with suggestions from the ProLife sites but they didn’t address local races, which is where it became so difficult to find any reliable, transparent information. And the nonpartisan races were the ones that had the least amount of candidate information that I could find, and as it turned out after the vote, most of those positions are held by Democrats.

So, I agree with you completely that a “Seal of Approval” would be wonderful to help those of us who find it hard to navigate thru all the murkiness that now exists. Each State could have all of their races show transparently which party a candidate belongs to (no matter what race as none are actually nonpartisan IMO) with links to how these people voted or whatever so we have full information prior to voting.

At one website helping voters learn about the candidates (and claiming to be nonpartisan), they showed pics of Democrats but not of President Trump, and his name was not listed within the presidential category (at the very top of the page) so trying to find him was difficult.

“…a vast number of voting Americans do not know how to think and those who can think, also can be easily tricked into voting for a candidate who isn’t committed to making or keeping America great. I fear being in the latter group.” Yes, I am fearful, too, of being in that “latter group.”

P, I could not agree more. I remember in all my English classes in the early ’70’s (which was my most difficult subject) it was drilled into us to be critical of EVERYTHING we read. Always question, verify again and then again, be aware of bias…all of which if done by the majority today would sink the MS media.

I am sitting watching FOX this morning and they interviewed Judy Miller and John Bolton, two of the most biased people I know. What rubbish. Thank God I encouraged both of my daughters to be English majors. Sure beats a cultural studies degree…

And that is where it has become so difficult to do just that because of so much disinformation. It really is overwhelming when trying to find the truth nowadays. We are blessed with CTH and the truth we learn here regarding federal levels of government, but when it comes to individual States, there is a serious lack of transparent information out there IMO. I wish each State could have its own personal CTH to help educate its residents regarding all levels of government (city, county, state) on issues pertinent to just their own state.

We must keep praying and trusting God to help America get back so solidly on track that when President Trump no longer holds office there will be people nationwide who will step up and maintain the course he’s started.

Let’s assume that we live in times before mass media (TV, Radio etc), and that a President of the United States appeared on his balcony reading a statement that he had just signed a declaration of war, and that every last newspaper nationwide, in conspiratory fashion, reported that the president had not if fact signed a declaration of war. Or that a given president, who had stated that a particular executive order would been imposed, and that again, by means of a conspiracy, all the newspapers reported he would not in fact impose such an order.
Can anybody seriously state that the President, according to his emergency powers, would not be duty-bound, for the survival of the Republic, to either shut down these outlets, or to temporarily nationalize them under different management?
This is, of course, just a thought-experiment, but it is a critical one because in my example, failure to take action would effectively spell the end of the Republic, and, no matter what a wayward SCOTUS would rule as a result of this emergency action, a worthy president would be forced to ignore a court’s worthless writ so as to assure the citizenry received information free of outright lies and distortion. That is what a truly great president would do! A weak, impotent president, however, would follow the SC0TUS ruling.
Lastly, if you analyze it carefully and correctly, no co-equal branch can impose its will on the others. The Executive , as the only authorized ‘doer, actor, or agent’ in our system, should never put into actual force any judicial or legislative pronouncement, that, according to his own independent reckoning, is unconstitutional ( such as allowing the Republic to fall for a perceived violation of the First Amendment). The courts and the Legislature deal in ‘words on a page’ (yes, they are sacred words!). But the President deals in human lives and in the irrevocable harm done if he erroneously takes executive action pursuant to a perverse SOTUS rulings.
The Chief Justice is not, by any constitutional reckoning, the Sovereign of the United States.
The US does not have a sovereign. However, the Constitution, intelligently, envisages emergencies when a ‘temporary sovereign’ is necessary, and it is not SCOTUS but rather the EXECUTIVE.
          It’s all in the Constitution!

I believe you are spot on in your assessment. Our President has focused his attention on our domestic enemies.
Over the past couple weeks, I have been waiting for him to start taking more control over the lawlessness in CHAZ/CHOP, riotors, looters, monument destroyers, etc. His patience has been perfect as I know we hit the inflection point with “soccer moms” and the apethic citizens across the country.
Almost everyone I know and work with are die hard Demonrats, Liberals, or Socialists.
EVERY ONE OF THEM IS SICK OF THIS LAWLESSNESS and wants it corrected.
At a family cookout yesterday, I had several anti-Trump in-laws saying they are upset about all the chaos and think Trump is doing a good job to stop it.
I have posted before about all my millenial daughter’s friends are pissed off at the media and thier past education for all the brainwashing. The tide has turned and the timing is perfect.

When is someone going to confront Obama the svengali who lives 2 miles from the White House? It isn’t surprising that someone who is the son of a Kenyan Marxist, mentored by Weatherman Bill Ayers and who.attended the Jeremiah Wright anti-American church does not believe in the America.of 1776. He wants to lead a second American revolution. Only a Marxist with no time for democratic norms would turn the FBI into a Stasi like secret police to destroy his enemies.

“…George Floyd’s death, attributed falsely to police murder, was due, according to the medical examiner’s report, which the media has ignored, to his medical preconditions plus an overdose of fentanyl. The entire episode has been misrepresented. The police did not call medics because they had choked Floyd to death. The police restraining Floyd called for medical help, because they seem to have recognized that Floyd was undergoing Excited Delirium Syndrome (EXD) and was in danger of his life. Floyd was being restrained in order to keep him still. You can read about fentanyl’s effect on breathing ability and heart function here: https://www.drugabuse.gov/publications/drugfacts/fentanyl

    Note especially this paragraph:

    “Can you overdose on fentanyl?

Yes, a person can overdose on fentanyl. An overdose occurs when a drug produces serious adverse effects and life-threatening symptoms. When people overdose on fentanyl, their breathing can slow or stop. This can decrease the amount of oxygen that reaches the brain, a condition called hypoxia. Hypoxia can lead to a coma and permanent brain damage, and even death.”

According to the medical examiner’s report, this is what happened to Floyd. https://www.scribd.com/document/464269559/George-Floyd-Autopsy-FULL-REPORT#from_embed?campaign=VigLink&ad_group=xxc1xx&source=hp_affiliate&medium=affiliate

“Bad guys” the world-over will tell “authorities” (and/or those sympathetic in a gathering crowd) “I can’t breath”, or, “You’re breaking my arms” (when being cuffed behind the back), etc.

Just like “bad guys” might tell you at your door, “I’m the repairman”, etc., then pounce on you when you open the door.

Just because he said it doesn’t make it true.

I agree with you that it’s a fair question as to exactly how long was that knee holding him down after he became unconscious. So… how long was that?

It might take some moments for the authority to realize he is actually unconscious and not just faking it.

              So.. how long was it?

Also important to that point – did the authority follow procedures as per his training?

              Well… did he?

Notice I am not saying the authority is “in the right” (because I don’t know). What I am saying is that there are still many “fair” questions to ask and answer – yet many (such as in your post) appear to “assume” the answer (and, I happen to notice, always in favor of the “narrative”).

IOW we can think something happened but we need to look to the facts to decide what really happened. The situation is much more nuanced when the whole tape is reviewed. Floyd was in a dangerous medical state and was resisting arrest. It is very sad and difficult to watch but judgment requires all the facts not just an emotional reaction from a video of part of the interaction. There needs to be a decision about policy and clear consistent application. The knee restraint is currently accepted practice in many areas of the USA and many other major Nations.

The man was a 6’7″ former football player and bouncer with a criminal record a mile long including armed home invasion. The officers immediately recognized that Floyd had taken an overdose of Fentanyl and called for the EMT. The knee hold is the appropriate and approved method of restraint. It wasn’t a choke hold. Floyd died because he killed himself with 4 times a lethal dose of Fentanyl and Meth just like thousands of Americans every year.

They didn’t know how to work the gurney, or how to put the cover on the gurney! Minnesota law stipulates EMTs to attempt resuscitation for at least 15 minutes if the person is not breathing. As someone who worked in EMS, I have first hand experience with patients undergoing hypoxia, from a variety of medical conditions.

If the condition is gradual, BEFORE they slip into coma and death, they often engage in irrational behavior; the brain is getting less than adequate amounts of oxygen; they hallucinate, babble incoherently, take off all their clothes, and often get combative.

As the underlieng issue is inadequate oxygen, it is vital to try to keep them immobile, because any physical activity is using up oxygen, which is then not available to the vital organs like the brain and heart, which are the most vulnerable to oxygen deprivation or hypoxia.

As bad as it looks, the officer with his knee on the neck MAY, and I stress MAY have been attempting to keep George from expending oxygen thrashing around.

Note: Most of the WBTW related social media accounts are covering coronavirus, politics, or illegal alien crimes. We will probably be in a quiet period regarding wall content until the next project(s) are near completion.
The praises (much of which are older news) have been provided for those who wish to give thanks for them before praying for the wall prayer requests. I may add to, trim back, or simplify from time to time as projects/events progress or come to completion. If there is any new wall news I’ll list them in the update below. Otherwise, feel free to page down or scroll past.

Friday night update – 7/3/20 – (See link above.)

    – Good article discussing erosion issues at Project 2 and Tommy Fisher’s explanation of how allowing some initial erosion to occur was part of the initial plan to show water runoff patterns on the landscape… which their crews could then go back and fortify.
    – The latest beautiful photos of the wall at Project 2. (3 photos)

    – – – – –
    Saturday night update – 7/4/20

    – Just posting the prayer post today.

    – – – – –
***Praise: 🧱 (Project 1: May/June 2019)… WBTW/Fisher Industries was able to build a half mile wall up the side of a mountain in 11 days (with zero safety incidents), cutting off 19 major drug cartel trails, and closing off one of the worst areas along the border… (Sunland Park, NM)
***Praise: 👍 (11/20/19)… DHS Secretary Chad Wolf & CBP Chief gave a huge endorsement to WeBuildTheWall & Fisher industries project while visiting Project 1. CBP Chief called it a “Game Changer”. It’s the only time CBP or DHS have ever endorsed a wall builder.
***PRAISE: 🧱 (12/2/19)… Fisher Sand & Gravel was awarded a $400M border wall contract to build 31 miles of wall in the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge in Yuma County, Arizona.
Fisher receives $268M; another $132M could be added if all options in contract are exercised, totaling $400M… or $8.6 to $13M per mile)(Estimated contract completion date is Dec 30, 2020.
Project: Yuma (Wellton Station) Border Wall System

***Praise: (12/4/19)… Brian Kolfage & his family were given the opportunity to visit the White House.
***Praise: While the Temporary Restraining Order(s) were in place, Fisher Industries and crews were still able to keep working on some aspects of Project 2 from the Dec. 5th hearing to Dec 12th (after which they were off for the holidays).
***Praise: (Jan 3)… Judge Crane lifted/removed section 8b from the TRO so that Fisher was able to continue to “shave, grade, or cut the riverbank.”
***Praise: (Jan 9)… Judge Crane lifted/removed the TROs from both the Federal government’s lawsuit (on behalf of the IBWC) and the North American Butterfly Association’s lawsuit (on behalf of Marianna Trevino-Wright’s National Butterfly Center) against Fisher Sand and Gravel Co.
***Praise: 🧱 (Project 2 complete: Feb 17)… Fisher Industries was able to build 3.5 miles of wall along the Rio Grande River in Mission, Texas. Project 2’s “water wall” design is the first border wall that’s ever been built inside the floodplain.

***Praise: 🔍 (Reported on 12/18/19)… Senator Kevin Cramer was able to complete his in-depth review of the USACE’s procurement process and send a letter with his findings and recommendations to President Trump on 12/6/19.
***PRAISE: 🧱 (5/6/20)… Fisher Sand & Gravel was awarded a $1.28B border wall contract to build 42 miles of wall in southern Arizona, most of which will run from Nogales to the eastern boundary of the Tohono O’odham Nation. It’s the largest border wall contract that’s ever been awarded. The project includes seven (or 8?) segments and will be painted black.
Project: Tucson Package 3, (Complex terrain, which includes rugged mountains and water crossings)
***PRAISE: (6/11/20)… Foreman Mike stated that Fisher Industries now has ~95 miles of border wall contracts out of the 450. (Of the 95, only ~73 miles are accounted for in the federal awards we know about, which leaves ~21 miles from contract(s) we do not yet know about.)

🙏 Prayer for the work crews. 🙏
Heavenly Father, we pray in Jesus’ name (& according to Your will):
    – for safety, health, and good weather for the work crews as they continue working on WBTW’s private projects… as well as Fisher’s Federal 7.6M/800 foot contract, the 400M/31 mile contract, the 1.28B/42 mile contract for border wall, and any other projects they may be working on; that Fisher would be able to continue uninterrupted until completion.
    – that Fisher would be able to safely and smoothly transition(scale up w/ equipment & training of work crews) to be able to build 1+(to 2?) miles of wall per day.
(Tommy Fisher has previously stated that, given a large enough project, they would be able to build 1 mile of wall per day within 3 months. So this process may have started as early as mid-April or May 6th… and will possibly be ramped up by mid-August??? Just a guess…)

    – that the DoD IG’s office audit of the $400 million border wall contract which the USACE awarded Fisher Sand & Gravel would show everything is fair and above board; that the swamp in DoD and USACE wouldn’t be able to corrupt the process; & that Fisher would be authorized to proceed with the project as planned. (Backstory/timeline)
***Praise: (4/15/19)… Fisher Industries has been awarded a 7.6M contract modification to build 800 linear feet of 30-foot bollard barrier while the original 400M contract is still under review by the DoD IG’s office. My guess is this will give further evidence to the IG that Fisher Industries was justified in receiving the original 400M contract. (Details)
(Update: Fisher has built well beyond the initial 800 feet.)
***Praise:… Looks like work has already begun on this 31 mile project, despite the ongoing audit. Photos showing well over 800 feet of wall, started appearing around the end of April. No official word yet though.

    – for WBTW/Fisher Industries regarding the ongoing lawsuits; that both sides would be able to resolve any issues and the lawsuits would be dismissed.
(May 6)… Positive developments in today’s hearing.
“Warner and Courtois sounded cautiously optimistic that engineers could work out any remaining problems.”
“In the meantime, the IBWC and Fisher Industries will review the hydraulic analysis.”
“Engineers with the United States section of the IBWC also sent hydraulic models to their counterparts in Mexico, who may offer comments or objections.”
“Attorney Javier Peña, who represents the butterfly association, said his client wanted to independently review the hydraulic model.”
“U.S. District Judge Randy Crane agreed to schedule a status conference in 60 days.”
    – for the next “status conference” on July 8.

    – that WBTW would be able to find corporate sponsors for Project 3. (They already have a major construction equipment manufacturer and are looking for a solar LED security lighting manufacturer or supplier.)
    – that Rep. Warren Petersen’s (R-AZ) bill, HB 2084, making it easier to build border wall on private property in Arizona would get passed.
***Praise: (Feb 6)… The bill passed AZ house on reconsideration with 31-29 party line vote. Next, it goes to the Senate.

    – for the bi-national summit with the Mexican IBWC and American politicians that WBTW will be hosting; for open lines of communication/understanding; and that WBTW/Fisher Industries would learn what they need to know to facilitate the sign off and approval of their projects by the Mexican IBWC.

    – for 100% safety/health/guidance/direction/salvation(through faith in Christ Jesus) for the work crews, security personnel, legal teams, CBP, DHS, Army, National Guard and all involved in WBTW/Fisher Industries private or federal projects; and for WBTW/Fisher Industries as they work with private landowners to secure more property to build on
    – that work would go smoothly with continual, innovative improvements in method/process/efficiency and quality of construction; and with transitioning as they scale up capacity(manpower, equipment, etc.) to build larger projects
    – (May 29 – CBP notice)… for Fisher to come up with innovative solutions or improvements requested by CBP “related to the anti-climb/anti-cut features of the border wall” (Deadline: June 12)
    – that there would be no outside interference (cartels, IBWC, courts/judges, protesters, swamp, etc.) and that if outside interference takes place that it would only work toward WBTW/Fisher Industries/USA’s benefit (exposing corruption, raising awareness, fundraising, etc.)

    – that Project 2’s wall will prove that the design is sound and that WBTW/Fisher Industries are capable of safely and effectively building it on a large scale in the Rio Grande Valley, with a superior build, at the lowest price
    – that the federal government would provide funding for WBTW &/or Fisher Industries to build 250+ miles of wall on Private Property in Texas
    – that the Government would purchase all of WBTW/Fisher Industries projects so the funds can be rolled into future projects and Fisher Industries will be able to scale up with additional equipment and manpower as needed.

The police are being pulled in many different directions without very much overt public/political support. Officers are leaving in droves. Those that remain MUST have as their first priority- protecting people-not monuments. Police Departments, and the executives who run them, are often very political to the detriment of their officers-not always-but far too often.

By not vigorously prosecuting these crimes against property they are now giving power to these anarchists. People will then become the target of their hate. One begets the other.

Yeezy is a complicated asset. West owns 100% of it. But it’s functionally tied—at least for five-plus years based on the documents we saw—to Adidas, which produces, markets and distributes the shoes.
          […]
Conservatively—as we typically are with such figures—a 10x multiple, applied to West’s Yeezy cut of $140 million, makes his stake worth about $1.4 billion. But it’s a private, highly illiquid $1.4 billion; our rule-of-thumb for private assets like that is to lop off at least 10%. That’s $1.26 billion.

West can run a good sized self-funded online campaign of his own, just with cash. That plus the name recognition means he would instantly reach 10’s of millions of people… like probably half or more of the U.S. knows his name, has seen him on T.V., etc. Even if you’re not inclined to vote for him, you’d still be curious to check out his new Facebook ad or whatever.

BUT… at what point would that endeavor start to conflict with his business interests? Once folks realize the damage he’s doing to the Pro-Joe/Anti-Trump side of the 2020 election, Cancel Culture will kick in… BIGLY… and that threatens his bottom line. And Adidas. And Adidas’ shareholders.

Is Adidas up to the challenge? Most likely: no. They’re instantly guilty by business association.

FTE: Taking Yeezy away from Adidas seems almost prohibitively cumbersome, if not contractually impossible.

Is West up to the challenge? Will be interesting to find out…

It all depends on how the “write-in” campaign is spun and conducted.

Consider there are 3 possible ways an undecided voter can vote in November and 2 of those outcomes favor Joe Biden.

        1. Vote democrat
        2. Don’t vote for President Trump and/or stay home
        3. Vote for President Trump

Choice number 2 is seen as a way for anybody who does not like president Trump to “safely” protest without voting for Joe Biden. I know allot of Republicans and Independents who feel this way and do not realize they voted for Biden and democrats with this choice.

Now consider a campaign run by the right people to keep a specific segment of the “Black” vote from supporting the President.

But it isn’t going to happen. It’s too late in the game for a *non-establishment* Democrat to compete with or even replace Biden. That wouldn’t follow The Plan to have a “Do It For Joe” moment.

The only thing that saves the Democrats is to have Biden secure nomination in the Primary to kick out Warren and Bernie, then soak up all media attention until right after the debates, then a “surprise” COVID attack let’s Biden drop out with grace (never admitting dimensia) blaming Trump for disease response while ushering in vote-by-mail. If COVID can stop a candidate, it will stop voters, so it’s for the good of the citizens, you understand… the Dems rally not on their platform, but in the Image of Biden, while not running With Biden. Trump does not want Jeff Sessions to win that Senate seat. Sessions caused MASSIVE problems for Trump and for us. Sessions is the reason for the Mueller witch hunt and probably one of the reasons for the loss of the GOP House majority to the Dems in 2018. If they give in to the BLM stuff during televised games, and go back 2 years, the impact is going to be devastating.

    https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/biden-and-dems-are-set-to-abolish-the-suburbs/

FTA “I expected that a President Biden would enforce the Obama administration’s radical AFFH (Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing) regulation to the hilt. That is exactly what Biden promises to do. By itself, that would be more than enough to end America’s suburbs as we’ve known them, as I’ve explained repeatedly here at NRO….AFFH works by holding HUD’s Community Development Block Grants hostage to federal-planning demands. Suburbs won’t be able to get the millions of dollars they’re used to in HUD grants unless they eliminate single-family zoning and densify their business districts. AFFH also forces HUD-grant recipients to sign pledges to “affirmatively further fair housing.” Those pledges could get suburbs sued by civil-rights groups, or by the feds, if they don’t get rid of single-family zoning. The only defense suburbs have against this two-pronged attack is to refuse HUD grants. True, that will effectively redistribute huge amounts of suburban money to cities, but if they give up their HUD grants at least the suburbs will be free of federal control.”

Be very leery of Democrats fleeing big cities they have destroyed for they will then destroy the suburbs. The Democrat Party is nothing but totalitarians, communists and socialists and should be banned like the Nazi Party was after WWII!

Add to that the [BLM] riots and the protests and New York was a perfect storm of everything that could go wrong – and did.’

Significantly, Kotkin believes that people being able to work from home will dramatically change the nature of life in New York for ever. ‘When the Twin Towers were hit in 2001, the internet was still in the early stages. Now it is easy for people to work remotely.

‘A city which is perceived as dangerous and dirty doesn’t hold any appeal. It makes sense to locate to suburban regions and smaller towns that are generally safer, cleaner and less expensive…

…Indeed, thousands of New Yorkers were already leaving for ‘safer’ cities such as Austin in Texas and Tulsa in Oklahoma, which offers newcomers in the tech industry a $10,000 (£8,000) welcome fee. It doesn’t help that NYPD commissioner Dermot Shea last week admitted: ‘You have a criminal justice system that is imploding. Imploding. That’s the kindest way to put it.’ “

I have a piece in American Thinker this morning called “Evidence is in: Hydroxychloroquine Works.” It was inspired by, and expands upon, Friday’s Conservative Treehouse posting about hydroxy. Here’s how I begin:

“The media is doing its best to ignore the solid new evidence that hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) works. Although they claim to be pro-science, they only report scientific studies that agree with their narrative. Although they claim that black lives matter to them, they purposely keep knowledge about successful treatments away from COVID-19 patients, a disproportionate number of whom are black. Here are some details of the two new studies that almost all of them are ignoring:”

Wonder how many are named Mohammed?

Henry, go to YouTube and search for NFAC (think this groupl also call themselves Black Israelites and believe their standing is Biblical)
There are several videos of yesterday’s March posted … I chose the longest one and watched the whole thing.
At the end, the “grandmaster” instructs his army to kill white people
Not a LE in sight. Truly mind boggling.

Racist. Inbred. Stupid. Arrogant. Obnoxious. Blood lust. Quick for the blood libel thing, too, against both Jews and Christians.

I researched a little bit like I always do.

Remember there are no coincidences things happen for a reason..

One of the sites I went to.. ranted.. watch how w*888Ty now wants to stop the second amendment rights.. (the Plan)

So it looks like a political play…. Stop black people to get guns… means no white people get guns.. democrats are once again trying to stoke fear.. gain support.

Two… the head of the organization..
we need our country… give it to us we can be free … we’ll take Texas.. if not we will take another area… (by Force). note TAKE….
Typical threat this time photo op with guns… MSM special.

      Three… head of the organization..
We are vets x military we know how to shoot.. where is the White Militia.. ….

Take us as a realistic threat… no they are not.. 200 people with Rambo brains are 200 dumb people commonly referred to by us vets as cannon fodder..

      This is a PR stunt…. July 4th…

      My take… 100 % deep state/Soros organization

with 200 members there is no doubt with the NSA data base that all the players have been identified. But allowed to operate.. Timothy McVeigh comes to mind.
This open demonstration is an open call to try and enlist dis-enfranchised black people and a possible race war. They are hoping for a loose cannon in the group.

In an interview the leader REFUSED TO SAY WHEN THE ORGANIZATION WAS FOUNDED….. Why…. what is important about the founding date… my guess it undermines the reason for its foundation.

    • When I used to watch L&O 10-20 years ago, I would occasionally get annoyed by the left-liberal tainting of story lines. It got to the point that you could solve the crime early in the episode simply by applying PC logic. In retrospect, though, the left-liberal slanting of that era would probably seem quaint by today’s radical “cancel culture” “standards.”

      • No doubt, but sadly not all of them are stupid and/or in the dumps.

For example, the big transnational corporations are only too happy to go along with “cancel culture” and SJWism. One, because these mega corps are run by leftists. Two, because they don’t want capitalism; they want corporatism. And, up to this point, corporate support for Cultural Marxism and technocratic “progressivism” has given them more and more lucrative and easily-corruptible corporatism.

Eventually, though, these corporate masters of the universe will learn that the Marxists aren’t content with corporatism.
