    Still stupid restrictions in place

Whitmer lifts stay-home order, allows dine-in restaurant service
    Beth LeBlanc The Detroit News
    Published 3:37 PM EDT Jun 1, 2020
Lansing — Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is partially lifting Michigan’s stay-at-home order, loosening restrictions on the operations of businesses and workplaces, while allowing larger outdoor gatherings and outside sporting events with certain restrictions.

“The decision by Whitmer would allow dine-in service in restaurants and bars with capacity restrictions by June 8. Businesses would be allowed to serve customers inside their shops without an appointment starting Thursday.

Whitmer’s latest executive order also would allow for the opening of swimming pools and day camps for children. County authorities had declared Metro Detroit’s swimming pools closed for the summer.

Outdoor crowds of up to 100 individuals are allowed immediately, which opens the way for graduation parties, funerals and outside weddings. Under the revised order, Whitmer would allow employees to work from the office if their work couldn’t be done remotely.”

“After over 33 years of military service to our country, including nearly five years in combat away from my family, and then my decision to continue to serve the United States, it has been extraordinarily painful to endure these many months of false accusations of ‘treason’ and other outrageous acts. Such false accusations are contrary to everything I have ever done and stood for. But I recognize that the actions I acknowledged in court today were wrong, and, through my faith in God, I am working to set things right. My guilty plea and agreement to cooperate with the Special Counsel’s Office reflects a decision I made in the best interests of my family and of our country. I accept full responsibility for my actions.”

    General Mike Flynn, December 2017

I have posted above before. I have read it many times, and I do not see where the General admits guilt to a crime. He writes it has “been painful to endure these many months of FALSE accusations of treason and other outrageous acts”. Further “the actions he acknowledged in court today were wrong”. Finally, ‘my guilty plea and agreement to cooperate with the Special Counsel’s Office REFLECTS A DECISION I made in the best interest of my family”

The General does not say I committed this crime and hurt my country thus.

If the Judge wants to get into this cannot Flynn sue him civilly seeking Sullivan’s personal liability ?

One asked, “All this for cigars?” as though they are just protecting cigars and not their livelihoods and income for their families (much like Blue State Lock Down Governors). Another one said (paraphrasing): Instead of using guns why not just let them loot your store and let insurance pay for it. That way these “children” can go to school in the fall. Win/Win.

          Thanks for your reply.

The numbers of anarchists disproportionately overwhelm the police/NG presence. Moreover, the authorities are concentrating themselves and the rioters are very mobile.

Now, the chaos is being moved to widely separated parts of the inner city and to the suburbs where PD/NG resources are thin.

The anarchists are in-charge. Unless and until the police response changes from passive to active, there will be no incentive for the rioters to cease. Giuliani is right.

Wheeler, like Trudope, pays off a Terrorist

“A renowned Antifa militant who publicly celebrates attacks on law enforcement is getting a cash settlement from a big U.S. city after claiming in a federal lawsuit that his civil rights were violated during a violent protest with his fellow extremists. The incident occurred in August 2018 when hundreds of radical leftists, including masked Antifa militants, confronted police and conservatives in downtown Portland, Oregon. Rowdy demonstrators used pepper spray against police and threw fireworks, bottles, rocks and ball bearings, according to a local news report. Videos of police in riot gear are embedded in the story, which says that protestors were armed with knives, traded blows and drew blood.

Among the rioters was a 31-year-old Antifa leader named James Mathew Mattox who praises cop killers on social media. Mattox was dressed in black bloc and a mask during the event and carried a shield with an anarchist symbol. Mattox provoked officers when they tried to disperse rioters by flipping them off, waving his shield and arms in the air and yelling profanities. When an officer shot a rubber bullet, Mattox taunted him for missing his left thigh before a second rubber bullet hit him in the right arm. This caused a “large gash,” according to his federal court complaint which includes other Portland-area Antifa rioters as plaintiffs. Mattox and his radical pals allege their civil rights were violated and he claims he suffered sharp pain, insomnia and limitations in functioning and movement for weeks.

This month the Portland City Council agreed to pay Mattox $23,000 to settle the case while a conservative journalist uncovered disturbing social media posts written by the Antifa activist.”

“Skunk” is a malodorant, non-lethal weapon used for crowd control by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and marketed to militaries and law enforcement around the world. It was developed and is manufactured by Odortec, with two supporting companies, Man and Beit-Alfa Technologies.[1] The liquid’s strong odor is marketed as an improvement over other crowd control weapons (CCWs) such as rubber bullets and tear gas used by the IDF against Palestinian protestors. The IDF is criticized for its tactics during deployment, including common use against people, businesses, and neighborhoods not involved in protests as a form of collective punishment.[2]

Something weird about surveillance video. There is a video from a restaurant giving a view of the Floyd arrest:

Keep your eye on the black car across the street, in front of the market, between the white and silver car. Note what it looks like.

00:18: Black car parked between white and silver car
00:41: Video jumps (clearly something missing) and there is suddenly a car that looks a lot like the car from 00:18 behind the card that Floyd and his friends are in. Floyd’s car is to the right, the mystery black car is behind the trash can. It sure looks like the same car.
00:41-43: You can clearly see two cops on the other side of the street. The mystery car does not appear to be their car.
3:20 After almost 3 minutes of sitting behind Floyd’s car, the mystery car moves. The same two cops are visible doing the arrest and talking to suspects: someone else is in that mystery car. Why was this car sitting there watching the arrest?
3:33: The mystery car makes a U-turn in the street
3:47: The mystery car parks across the street just as the Park Police arrive. It sure looks like the mystery car was making room for the Park Police.
6:13: The mystery car is still across the street. It’s been about two and a half minutes. The Park Police move and make a U-turn, going to the corner on the other side of the street.
6:24: The mystery car can be seen coming behind the Park Police car but then the video ends.

It sure looks like someone was watching the police proceedings. It’s odd that both the original splice in the video at 00:41 and the abrupt ending make it difficult to follow this car. Mountain out of a molehill?
