✅ Federal Appeal Court in NY ruled Trump’s Admin has the right to withhold Fed Grants from Sanctuary Cities

So many things to give praise for! Thank you, Grandma!

PJDT is winning in the courts against sanctuary cities…great news! Why should our tax dollars flow to jurisdictions where criminal mayors and governors flaunt the law?

And I’m ECSTATIC over PJDT’s campaign for suing the NYTimes for libel! At last night’s corona virus speech PJDT said there’s “many more” lawsuits coming! It will be a great cleansing in USA when the malignant power of the FakeMedia is broken and bankrupted.

Don’t know about the rest of you but I continue to be amazed at President Trump’s energy level and ability to criss-cross the country and globe constantly for all of these events. He literally just returned from India yet right on to S Carolina for a rally. I get tired just reading his schedule and I’m nearly 20 years younger. Godspeed, President Trump, keep up the great work.

    – – – – –
    Wednesday night update – 2/26/20

    – Misc. tweets/photos.

    – – – – –
***Praise: 🧱 (Project 1: May/June 2019)… WBTW/Fisher Industries was able to build a half mile wall up the side of a mountain in 11 days (with zero safety incidents), cutting off 19 major drug cartel trails, and closing off one of the worst areas along the border… (Began building over Memorial Day weekend in Sunland Park, NM., just across the Rio Grande from El Paso, TX.)
***Praise: 👍 (11/20/19)… DHS Secretary Chad Wolf & CBP Chief gave a huge endorsement to WeBuildTheWall while visiting Project 1. CBP Chief called it a “Game Changer”. It’s the only time CBP or DHS have ever endorsed a wall builder.
***Praise: 🧱 (12/2/19)… Fisher Sand & Gravel was awarded a $400M border wall contract to build 31 miles of wall in the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge in Yuma County, Arizona.
(Fisher receives $268M of this $400M project)(Estimated contract completion date is Dec 30, 2020.) (2 days of posts here & here.)

***Praise: (12/4/19)… Brian Kolfage & his family were given the opportunity to visit the White House.
***Praise: While the Temporary Restraining Order(s) were in place, Fisher Industries and crews were still able to keep working on some aspects of Project 2 from the Dec. 5th hearing to Dec 12th (after which they were off for the holidays).
***Praise: (Jan 3)… Judge Crane lifted/removed section 8b from the TRO so that Fisher was able to continue to shave, grade, or cut the riverbank.
***Praise: (Jan 9)… Judge Crane lifted/removed the TROs from both the Federal government’s lawsuit (on behalf of the IBWC) and the North American Butterfly Association’s lawsuit (on behalf of Marianna Trevino-Wright’s National Butterfly Center) against Fisher Sand and Gravel Co.
***Praise: 🧱 (Feb 17)… Project 2 is complete. (Not sure if they finished the planting/seeding of the last stretch of the river bank yet though; also, there probably is some cleanup left.)

***Praise: Fisher has taken the lead on Project 2, covering most of the money for the wall($22M bank loan; total cost is ~$42M). (Haven’t heard any more about other investors with the exception of WBTW as a minor investor. Fisher plans to sell Project 2 back to the government for $14M per mile, or $16.5 million with 10 years of complete upkeep included.)
***Praise: 🔍 (Reported on 12/18/19)… Senator Kevin Cramer was able to complete his in-depth review of the USACE’s procurement process and send a letter with his findings and recommendations to President Trump on 12/6/19.
***Praise:🇺🇸 (12/22/19)… Brian Kolfage was awarded Patriot of the Year award by Turning Point USA at their Student Action Summit.
***Praise: (Reported on 1/22-23/20)… WBTW gained a major construction equipment company as a corporate sponsor & are looking for more. (See prayer below for specifics.)
***Praise: (Jan 22)… Rep. Warren Petersen’s (R-AZ) bill, HB 2084, making it easier to build border wall on private property in Arizona, moved out of the Federal Relations committee with 4-3 vote in favor.
(Feb 6)… The bill passed house on reconsideration with 31-29 party line vote. Next, it goes to the Senate.

🙏 Prayer for the work crews. 🙏
Heavenly Father, we pray in Jesus’ name:
    – for safety and good weather for the work crews as they work on Project 3 & 4; that they would be able to continue uninterrupted until completion.
    – for WBTW/Fisher Industries regarding the ongoing lawsuits; that the lawsuits would be dismissed.
(Feb 5)… Judge Randy Crane granted a 60-day extension to all parties. The three sides will reconvene on April 8.
    – that WBTW would be able to find corporate sponsors for Project 3. (They already have a major construction equipment manufacturer and are looking for a solar LED security lighting manufacturer or supplier next who wants to be involved.)

    – that the DoD IG’s office audit of the $400 million border wall contract which the USACE awarded Fisher Sand & Gravel would show everything is fair and above board; that the swamp in DoD and USACE wouldn’t be able to corrupt the process; & that Fisher would be authorized to proceed with the project as planned.

    – that Rep. Warren Petersen’s (R-AZ) bill,HB 2084, making it easier to build border wall on private property in Arizona would get passed.
(Jan 22)… Bill passed out of Federal Relations committee with 4-3 vote in favor.
(Jan 30)… The bill failed on the house floor as one Republican sided with the Democrats.
(Feb 6)… The bill passed AZ house on reconsideration with 31-29 party line vote. Next, it goes to the Senate.

    – for the bi-national summit with the Mexican IBWC and American politicians that WBTW will be hosting; for open lines of communication/understanding; and that WBTW/Fisher Industries would learn what they need to know to facilitate the sign off and approval of their projects by the Mexican IBWC.

    – for 100% safety/health/guidance/direction for the work crews, security personnel, legal team, CBP, DHS, Army and all involved in Project’s 2, 3, 4, and other projects; and for WBTW/Fisher Industries as they work with private landowners to secure more property to build on
    – that work would go smoothly with continual, innovative improvements in method/process/efficiency and quality of construction; and with transitioning as they scale up capacity(manpower, equipment, etc.) to build larger projects
    – that there would be no outside interference (cartels, IBWC, courts/judges, protesters, swamp, etc.) and that if outside interference takes place that it would only work toward WBTW/Fisher Industries/USA’s benefit (exposing corruption, raising awareness, fundraising, etc.)

    – that Project 2’s wall will prove that WBTW/Fisher Industries can rapidly complete large sections of wall, with a superior build, at the lowest price
    – that this wall would prove that the design is sound and they are able to safely and effectively build it on a large scale in the Rio Grande Valley (Project 2’s “water wall” design is the first border wall that’s ever been built inside the flood plain)
    – that the federal government would provide funding for WBTW/Fisher Industries to build 250+ miles of wall on Private Property in Texas

    – that the Government would purchase all of WBTW/Fisher Industries projects so the funds can be rolled into future projects and Fisher Industries will be able to scale up with additional equipment and manpower as needed.
(This, in addition to ongoing fundraising from public/investors, will allow WBTW/Fisher Industries to continue to self fund projects, build their reputation/resume, while they continue to pursue other avenues which could lead to government contracts down the road.)

What I don’t get is why do so many Democrats want immigrants who can’t support themselves? That’s a rhetorical question. When my wife’s grandparents immigrated from Italy in the early 1900’s they had to declare how much money they had with them and give an address as to where they were going to stay. In essence they had to have a sponsor, someone who would be responsible for them. We saw their Ellis Island immigration form. Now they come from every third world hellhole and are helped by various do gooders in signing up for food stamps, Medicaid, tax credits, housing vouchers even Social Security! The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 needs to be repealed and replaced!

      • Both FISA and PATRIOT have subjected our nation’s people to existential dangers, the likes of which never existed before these laws were passed because these laws created them. Our Founders well knew that “national security” begins in the home. Ordinary people, living in their ordinary homes, needed to be safe from attack (2nd Amendment) and from unreasonable search and seizure (4th).

Today, we’re told that tens of thousands of “searches” occur every month, and hundreds of requests are made to a kangaroo court presided over by someone who has no way to independently verify what the Government is telling him or her. Surveillance is obviously a highly addictive drug.

Another one bites the dust. He lived through the Obama years. In fact, he complained the whole time…made his living complaining about Obama. To say he seems smart, even tempered and moderate are all crap. Buttigieg is doing everything he can to be a white Obama: he is stealing Obama speeches, facial expressions, hand and arm mannerisms and speech cadence. He even has Obama’s smirk and the “I am so much better than you” aura. I could understand if he said given the choice that is before him that Buttigieg would make a better dem candidate than the others, okay. If Bolling thinks he can live with an aper and liar like Buttigieg then he should move for to Canada for awhile because they have one up there and he can relive the Obama years. The only difference is Buttigieg’s partner came out as a man…Big Mike never did.

It’s why we need to bring back ‘Line item Veto’.
      Congress is so Corrupted.

      Liked by 6 people

      • MJ says:

I would love to see a healthy debate on line item veto. In this day and age it seems like it would be a necessity, something our Founders would’ve added.

However, it is, in theory, an overstep on Executive power over the Legislative. It would allow the President to cherry pick the politically favorable parts of a bill while vetoing politically unfavorable parts of the bill. The net effect, however, in the worst case, could totally cripple the legislation as intended, introduce constitutional conflicts, and unnecessarily burden our citizens with dysfunctional laws and regulations.

As Justice Scalia would have argued, there are numerous, and healthy, ways for the Executive and Legislative to fight each other over “petty” differences in opinion, or as he would have said, childish tantrums. The President has global veto power — not necessarily line item power — and Congress can override. The House controls the Purse but the President could pick and choose how to implement and enforce, or choose what not to fund. Congress is supposed to pass a budget, etc. I would think Congress would be emboldened to override line item vetoes simply to preserve their constitutionally enumerated powers. Ultimately, this is why the President is the only nationally elected representative of We The People.

Grandma, total respect I appreciate your prayers every night. And I agree that we absolutely require a way for We The People to cut the pork, garbage, and other stench emanating from Congress. I hope there are solutions to these problems that would allow the Constitution to work as intended and avoid the pitfalls that our Founders feared the most.

        Liked by 1 person

        • Somebody says:

One way congress adds pork is by not passing a budget. When everything is lumped together into an omnibus or worse a continuing resolution it’s near impossible for any POTUS to veto.

If instead Congress followed the law and passed budgets agency by agency, then the President could veto say an agriculture bill loaded with pork. The President could single out the waste and make their case to the American people. Or say a foreign aid package loaded down, again the President could veto and take their case to the American people. The individual lawmakers or groups of them that put the pork in also have to justify it.

That process lends some accountability, not as much as a line item veto, but some. I believe an earlier attempt at line item veto was struck down by the courts.

We the people should demand regular order and budgets agency by agency. They’ll whine and cry and insist they’ll never get it done or have time for anything else…….well maybe that means government is too big and/or they debate too much and give too many speeches.

When they throw it all in a huge omnibus that includes critical services as well as mountains of pork they do it on purpose and they all do it, both sides of the aisle.

    Dear AG Barr,

America demands justice. America has lost faith in the FBI and the Department of “Justice” . . . the entirety of the institution and the people who work there. Every single one. Statements like this (hat tip Peter Chowka’s article on Philip Haney’s death posted on American Thinker) are met by the American people as concerning:

“…the Amador County sheriff’s department has called on the FBI ‘to assist in analyzing documents, phone records and a lap top that were recovered from the scene and Mr. Haney’s RV.’ The release also notes, ‘We are currently in possession of his vehicle, the firearm located at the scene, and his RV and we will be requesting evidence processing assistance from the FBI on those items as well.’

America believes the evidence will either be buried, destroyed, or manipulated. This is where we are at in this country? What are you going to do about it?

What happened to Seth Rich, Philip Haney, Jeffrey Epstein? Why have we not heard from Julian Assange? Patrick Byrne? Edward Snowden?

Have come to conclude Mr. Impossible is not Bondo; he’s Mr. Cellophane.

Wonder how that plays on bagpipes…

I’ve always been a Queen fan, so maybe it’s just me, but this song seems prophetic about DJT.

    • NAFTA was a great example of negotiations that were conducted by people who didn’t know how to negotiate. It created a “race to the bottom” for all three countries and drove there at high speed. The replacement agreement is only a slight improvement. But maybe now Mexicans won’t be building auto parts at plants that pay them so little that they have difficulty making ends meet in squalid conditions. It truly was “peonage.”

With all due respect…I’m just amazed the White House hasn’t called you to consult on all proposed legislation, trade deals or even policy statements. /s

Not on Apple, but logging in via Chrome is sometimes troublesome on WordPress because of security extensions. If I try to login without any add-ons there is no problem. It takes a little adjustment of options to login at times. In short, it’s not CTH.
