      Mr. President,
Please keep informing us (the People) about the injustice that continues to take place within our justice system. If it takes tweets to get it into the mainstream media, please continue. If Barr has a problem with transparency to bad, he works for us.

      • I can’t believe how corrupt the media is. This morning I was listening to an NBC radio news broadcast. The news reader reported on how Barr had 100 DOJ personnel calling for his resignation. Then she says Barr is being directed by the President to open up all his “pet” investigations involving Flynn, etc. The bias from the “news” telecast was too much for me to believe even though I know what they are. “Pet” investigations… unbelievable. How does the President cope. He must have nerves of steel.

Heh, can relate. During Limbaugh’s show today, the network news came on — the two most important stories in the country seem to be the letter the leftist lawyers signed regarding Barr and “Guilliani’s former associate” being charged. Odd to sit here knowing that an ongoing coup against the president of the United States is happening, and those who rely on that for “news” are unaware.

The media’s gone. Long live the independent media

        • Grandma Covfefe says:

I totally agree. We did it in the last three election cycles and we found so many Big red flags. Reason we did early voting is because our home voting precinct has very few English speaking workers! It shocked us so we decided to go this route for now and drive to OC Registrar Office in Santa Ana and drop it off there. I wasn’t allowed to drop hubbie’s ballot into the box for him. He had to do it himself and I had to do mine for me. We will continue to do this, this year.

This year we noticed in Orange County, CA they now have many, many “Ballot Drop-off” containers all over OC with no one to monitor it! What is to stop anybody, legal or illegal, from dumping hundreds of ballots in these containers at one time. These container are big, like the outdoor containers used for dropping off library books. They are metal, operate like a mailbox, and it’s about 6 ft X 8 to 10 ft, and about 5 feet high.

This is so wrong and I wouldn’t mind if DC reject all Calif ballots due to massive potential fraud if it would help save our country.

I personally believe everyone can only vote on election day with a voter ID card. Period. No exceptions. These voter frauds worries us. We have been aware of them for 30-40 years.

I think there are a few valid reasons that people should be able to vote absentee. Those in the military, those who are hospitalized, those who may have a trip long-planned and they will be unable to get to any polling place… Each of those situations would need to be addressed with the county auditor and verified prior to an absentee ballot being issued.

I think we need to go back to having polling places that people who want their vote to be registered have to make the effort to get to, and they have to be willing to show ID that verifies they are indeed a registered voter, and there needs to be a paper ballot (in English only!) with a clear trail. No ballot harvesting, no same-day registration, no more Motor Voter!

As with so many other issues our country faces today, the answers are simple… They may not be easy but they are simple!

Living in Washington, one of those “Blue” states, I can see why they refused to turn over their data…the level of vote fraud here is through the roof, and is what turned my once beautiful, moderately purple state into a solid Blue mess!! (Same as what has happened to California, and soon to be Colorado, and probably Arizona and Texas after that!)

Crime is rampant, our infrastructure is crumbling, taxes are destroying small businesses and retirees, homelessness is through the roof, drug addicts and gang bangers roam the street at will and our Governor and AG are too busy suing the Trump Administration to do a da*n thing about any of it!!

The DOJ isn’t supposed to be handling cases where legislation or executive orders are not followed by states? Or is that just an old-fashioned way to look at the DOJ? Maybe they never were responsible, but I did think protecting the civil rights of citizens (assuring fair elections being a big part of that) was their reason for existence.

Under O, they were always “stepping in” to be sure police departments and schools were protecting “civil rights” — at least for certain groups. Maybe I have it all wrong. Sure seems like the department does nothing but harass PDT, other than the trafficking cases I read about.

Now for something a little different. 🙂

I think we’re all aware of what a treasure we have in Sundance, and most of us aren’t shy about praising him for his work and his passion and caring. But what I don’t hear very often from most of us (me included) is praise for the average Treeper. I’m not talking about when we’re doing crowd-sourcing or something, and literally adding to the knowledge base. That’s a given. I’m talking more about just BEING here and diving into what Sundance offers.

Yeah it’s interesting, important, and sometimes even fun. But a lot of it is so complex that it’s almost like being in a high-level graduate degree course. It requires real effort, and some skill, to navigate it all and to GET IT. I doubt if many of us here understand and appreciate 100% of what Sundance teaches, but I think the vast majority of us TRY as hard as we can.

Sometimes it almost feels like WORK… but the kind of work that in the end you can be super proud of, and can point back and say “I did that!” And especially what we’re going through now. If things work out the way we hope, then we’ll be able to look back and not only tell tales of how brilliant our leader was… but also be able to brag that we were smart and passionate enough to FOLLOW that leader.

Hmm… anyway, I don’t know what provoked me to write this, but it’s just something I’ve been thinking about for awhile. Oh well… 😉

As hugely important as the Treehouse has become, and as happy as I am about that, I still gotta admit that I sometimes miss the “old days”. Especially that Sundance and some of the mods had more time to just hang out with us on threads, and the occasional “slow times” when everyone would just kinda sit and joke around. Oh, and the rare “secret thread” where we needed a password to access. Fun stuff. 😉 But don’t get me wrong, even though I miss those days, I wouldn’t trade what we have NOW for anything. What Sundance, the ladies, and the rest of us are able to do here is a testament to how the foundation of this place was put together, and has allowed it to grow (on many levels). Oh and…

The real benefit though is when those nuggets break through having the knowledge to fill in the gaps and round out the picture. It’s a slow red pilling process for many in my orbit that are stuck on MSM. They’re all solid Trump supporters except one, but they are heavily influenced by the MSM and constantly think the sky is falling.

I agree 100%, the days of me believing any of these clowns are working on the behalf of the American people are far gone. This is about the 10th time we’ve let Lucy hold the football, fool me once, shame on you, fool me 10 times I’m a fool. I’m a 10 times fool, I won’t be an 11 time fool.

Durham will be just as big of a coward as Sessions, Barr, Rosey, Whittaker, Huber, Wray, Who was the other one or two we put trust in then got fooled? We’ve got a couple months before he takes his rightful place amongst the disgraced.

this is no longer a country where there’s even the semblance of fairness or justice, the best advice I can give people is to keep your head down and try to stay as far away from any kind of involvement with the government as possible, don’t make any waves or you’ll be the next Roger Stone or Mike Flynn or Hope Hicks or whoever else they want to destroy.

You r are correct and need to add Democrat Controlled states nullifying the Electoral College, which is needed to ballot box stuffing most effective.

Stuff ballot boxes where democrats are in full control of the Election Boards (local through state), guarantees no Fraud complaints to the FEC or (cough cough) DoJ.

Then Democrat controlled States Governments or controlled veto-proof State Legislatures join the states allocating electoral votes to the popular vote leader. So, far not a single one of these States has been sued in state or federal courts for voter rights suppression by those State Governments.

    (Previous posts: https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/02/16/february-16th-2020-presidential-politics-trump-administration-day-1123/comment-page-1/#comment-7857586)

    – – – – –
    Sunday night update – 2/16/20

    – Video of Ben Bergquam at Project 2.

    – Misc. content.

    – – – – –
***Praise: 🧱 (Project 1: May/June 2019)… WBTW/Fisher Industries was able to build a half mile wall up the side of a mountain in 11 days (with zero safety incidents), cutting off 19 major drug cartel trails, and closing off one of the worst areas along the border… (Began building over Memorial Day weekend in Sunland Park, NM., just across the Rio Grande from El Paso, TX.)
***Praise: 👍 (11/20/19)… DHS Secretary Chad Wolf & CBP Chief gave a huge endorsement to WeBuildTheWall while visiting Project 1. CBP Chief called it a “Game Changer”. It’s the only time CBP or DHS have ever endorsed a wall builder.
***Praise: 🧱 (12/2/19)… Fisher Sand & Gravel was awarded a $400M border wall contract to build 31 miles of wall in the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge in Yuma County, Arizona.
(Fisher receives $268M of this $400M project)(Estimated contract completion date is Dec 30, 2020.) (2 days of posts here & here.)

***Praise: (12/4/19)… Brian Kolfage & his family were given the opportunity to visit the White House.
***Praise: While the Temporary Restraining Order(s) were in place, Fisher Industries and crews were still able to keep working on some aspects of Project 2 from the Dec. 5th hearing to Dec 12th (after which they were off for the holidays).
***Praise: (Jan 3)… Judge Crane lifted/removed section 8b from the TRO so that Fisher was able to continue to shave, grade, or cut the riverbank.
***Praise: (Jan 9)… Judge Crane lifted/removed the TROs from both the Federal government’s lawsuit (on behalf of the IBWC) and the North American Butterfly Association’s lawsuit (on behalf of Marianna Trevino-Wright’s National Butterfly Center) against Fisher Sand and Gravel Co.
***Praise: 🧱 Fisher was able to begin installing bollards on Sunday (Jan 12) and work is progressing well. Looks like the wall itself is nearly completed as of Sunday (Jan 26). (They’ll probably start building the concrete service road next. Not sure what stage of completion the lighting and cameras are at.)

***Praise: Fisher has taken the lead on Project 2, covering most of the money for the wall($22M bank loan; total cost is ~$42M). (Haven’t heard any more about other investors with the exception of WBTW as a minor investor. Fisher plans to sell Project 2 back to the government for $14M per mile, or $16.5 million with 10 years of complete upkeep included.)
***Praise: 🔍 (Reported on 12/18/19)… Senator Kevin Cramer was able to complete his in-depth review of the USACE’s procurement process and send a letter with his findings and recommendations to President Trump on 12/6/19.
***Praise:🇺🇸 (12/22/19)… Brian Kolfage was awarded Patriot of the Year award by Turning Point USA at their Student Action Summit for his work with WBTW in helping to securing our border.
***Praise: (Reported on 1/22-23/20)… WBTW gained a major construction equipment company as a corporate sponsor & are looking for more. (See prayer below for specifics.)
***Praise: (Jan 22)… Rep. Warren Petersen’s (R-AZ) bill,HB 2084, making it easier to build border wall on private property in Arizona, moved out of the Federal Relations committee with 4-3 vote in favor.
(Feb 6)… The bill passed house on reconsideration with 31-29 party line vote. Next, it goes to the Senate.

🙏 Prayer for the work crews. 🙏
Heavenly Father, we pray in Jesus’ name:
    – for safety and good weather for the work crews as they work on Project 2; that they would be able to continue uninterrupted (w/ no new TROs) until completion.
    – for WBTW / Fisher Industries regarding the ongoing lawsuits; that the lawsuits would be dismissed.
(Feb 5)… Judge Randy Crane granted a 60-day extension to all parties. The three sides will reconvene on April 8.
    – that WBTW would be able to find corporate sponsors for Project 3. (They already have a major construction equipment manufacturer and are looking for a solar LED security lighting manufacturer or supplier next who wants to be involved.)

    – that the DoD IG’s office audit of the $400 million border wall contract which the USACE awarded Fisher Sand & Gravel would show everything is fair and above board; that the swamp in DoD and USACE wouldn’t be able to corrupt the process; & that Fisher would be authorized to proceed with the project as planned.

    – that Rep. Warren Petersen’s (R-AZ) bill,HB 2084, making it easier to build border wall on private property in Arizona would get passed.
(Jan 22)… Bill passed out of Federal Relations committee with 4-3 vote in favor.
(Jan 30)… The bill failed on the house floor as one Republican sided with the Democrats.
(Feb 6)… The bill passed AZ house on reconsideration with 31-29 party line vote. Next, it goes to the Senate.

    – for the bi-national summit with the Mexican IBWC and American politicians that WBTW will be hosting; for open lines of communication/understanding; and that WBTW/Fisher Industries would learn what they need to know to facilitate the sign off and approval of their projects by the Mexican IBWC.

    – for 100% safety/health/guidance/direction for the work crews, security personnel, legal team, CBP, DHS, Army and all involved in Project’s 2, 3, 4, and other projects; and for WBTW/Fisher Industries as they work with private landowners to secure more property to build on
    – that work would go smoothly with continual, innovative improvements in method/process/efficiency and quality of construction; and with transitioning as they scale up capacity(manpower, equipment, etc.) to build larger projects
    – that there would be no outside interference (cartels, IBWC, courts/judges, protesters, swamp, etc.) and that if outside interference takes place that it would only work toward WBTW/Fisher Industries/USA’s benefit (exposing corruption, raising awareness, fundraising, etc.)

    – that Project 2’s wall will prove that WBTW/Fisher Industries can rapidly complete large sections of wall, with a superior build, at the lowest price
    – that this wall would prove that the design is sound and they are able to safely and effectively build it on a large scale in the Rio Grande Valley (Project 2’s “water wall” design is the first border wall that’s ever been built inside the flood plain)
    – that the federal government would provide funding for WBTW/Fisher Industries to build 250+ miles of wall on Private Property in Texas

    – that the Government would purchase all of WBTW/Fisher Industries projects so the funds can be rolled into future projects and Fisher Industries will be able to scale up with additional equipment and manpower as needed.
(This, in addition to ongoing fundraising from public/investors, will allow WBTW/Fisher Industries to continue to self fund projects, build their reputation/resume, while they continue to pursue other avenues which could lead to government contracts down the road.)

It’s Finished: Important Update About Where We Go From Here – 2/16/20 – Ben Bergquam
“We’re showing what’s happened behind the scenes. Plus, we’re revealing other important news about what we’ve been doing the last several weeks and where we go from here.”

      Brian Kolfage – 2/16/20
      – Its done! Thank you all for donations. Now we are onto our 3rd wall project. WE NEED YOUR HELP, please donate- link is in my profile. .
      – Frequently Asked Questions:
      – Length: 3.5 miles long .
      – How tall is it? 18′ .
      – Why does it look different? Its a new design that was specifically designed to be built on the water. Its the first wall to EVER be built near the water in Texas.
      – We didn’t need the anti-climb plate on top since other anti climb measure were adopted.
      – The wall is slippery too, anyone coming out of water will be wet and will not be able to climb it. Ladders wont work as there are no flat faces, and ropes have nothing to snag on, they will fall through.
      – Also no one can fit between the bollards, its an optical illusion of the angled vertical pieces. all the same smart wall tech is in this wall as project 1. .

I have never had an issue with people coming here to make a better life for their families, and have no desire to stop that. What I need to know is, at the very least, who is coming in. Having untold numbers of people here living off the grid, is scary as hell and unacceptable. No liberal can win that argument without turning it to BS racism jabber. Don’t forget this. FTA – President Donald Trump went from the Daytona 500 on Sunday to attending the wedding of two top members of his administration, senior adviser Stephen Miller and Katie Waldman, press secretary for Vice President Mike Pence. Shortly after landing at Andrews Air Force Base after a busy day in Florida, the president made a quick stop at the White House. The presidential motorcade then made a five-block jaunt to the Trump International Hotel where the White House announced after press queries that the president was attending ‘the wedding of Mr and Mrs Stephen Miller’.

    Just a thought here:
I’ve often wondered why President Trump has not fired Kellyann Conway for her husband’s comments. After seeing her with Chrissy Wallace, it dawned on me why not. Besides the fact that she is an excellent defender (probably 2nd only to Stephen Miller), she and her husband personify the contrast between a strong, Republican woman and a pathetic, cuckold-type Democrat husband. As a Never-Trumper, George Conway is an independent contractor who does not care about the future of either party, only the uniparty. What a great foil to run against! It’s only a matter of time until George gets caught sucking the toes of a prostitute and Kellyanne drops him like the loser he is. Meanwhile, thousands of suburban women will applaud Kellyanne for trying to make the marriage work despite her husband’s treachery and reward Trump for sticking by her.

So let’s recap all of the “incidents” that have occurred over the past few years and you tell me if truth and justice is paramount anymore and if there isn’t a two tier system of justice within DC!

    1) Uranium One – No Crimes, No Indictments

    2) Hammer 47 Hard Drives – No Crimes, No Indictments

    3) Anwan Brothers – No Crimes, No Indictments

    4) HRC Unsecured Server & 33K Emails – No Crimes, No Indictments

    7) Seth Rich murder – No arrests

    8) Fake Dossier and fraud on FISA Court 4 times – No Crimes, No Indictments

    9) Years of FISA Abuse – No Crimes, No Indictments

    10) Years of FIB Contractor Abuse – No Crimes, No Indictments

    11) Carter Page FISA Leak – No Crime for Leaking (just one count lying)

    12) Numerous other Classified Leaks – No Crimes, No Indictments

    13) Numerous referrals to DOJ – No Crimes, No Indictments

    14) Numerous Agents violating policy – No Crimes, No Indictments

    15) Ukraine WB fraud – No Crimes, No Indictments

    16) Impeachment Fraud and made up narrative by House Leader – No Crimes, No Indictments

    17) Ukraine Money Laundering – No Crimes, No Indictments

    18) Epstein – No Crimes, No indictments

Seriously, look at this list and virtually NOTHING from our Government!

I’m not sure it is even statistically possible but here it is.

I think as more and more Americans see lists like these coupled with the lists of their people who got a pass and our people who get indicted, they clearly see the bias and injustice.

The American people see and now know, so what’s it going to be, truth and equal justice or just more of the same?

P.S. To me, “affirmative action” is one of those social programs that got ruined by being condescending. “You are ___ … Your skin is ___ … Therefore you can’t succeed on your own unless we ‘help’ you.” No surprise to me that I know a lot of “___ people” who were quite insulted by that and said, “no thanks, I don’t need or want your so-called ‘help.'” “___ doctors” have to become doctors by passing their exams just like everybody else does, because the very last thing anybody wants is to have … or, certainly, to be … a doc who doesn’t know what (s)he’s doing.

A Justice Czar such as Sidney Powell, appointed by PT, whereby he grants her full authority to declassify, un-redact then read and review any documents related to Russia Gate, Spygate, FISA Gate, Muller Gate and Impeachment Gate is NOW a MUST if Americans are ever going to get to the truth and see Justice administered.

(Note: Obama appointed 45 Czars during his Presidency)

Not only does our Justice Czar go back and examine all the “hidden and suppressed documents” such as the many Sundance has outlined while advising the President, she sits in on all Barr and Durham meetings to ensure all stones are being properly turned over.

Yes, this would be awkward, uncomfortable for some but necessary IMO to ensure everything is on the up and up. My hope is Barr would just resign making it his choice. But Sidney stays put.

Yes, the other option is simply to fire Barr now but not only is there considerable media flak by that move but PT ends up being forced to elevate Rosen, Barr’s hand picked buddy so what has the President really gained?

This option is less damaging and is simply the President wanting a second set of eyes on things.

The Czar strategy is two fold.

    1) Puts someone in who Americans and PT trusts completely, to get to and expose the truth even if it is damaging to the DOJ/FBI.

    2) It gives PT a second pair of eyes to ensure him all stones are being turned over properly.

    3) It keeps the digging for the truth going NOW, all the way up to Nov vs allowing things to get buried, ignored, while creating the narrative that there is no there, there all the way up to Nov.

    4) Gives Sidney a huge running start into the investigation and come Nov, assuming PT gets 5-8 new, additional Republican Senators an easier confirmation after Barr and Wray are sent packing.

Since we have had some coordination of late via Sundance, Rush, and Lou Dobbs, might I suggest a coordinated Justice Czar thread that grabs PT’s attention. Then We the People need to back it up via massive tweeting and chanting “We Want Sidney” at ALL PT rallies.

The bottom line is, until we get a true MAGA person in place in the DOJ who has real integrity to expose the truth and administer equal justice regardless where it leads, our DOJ will never be about and for, We the People.

Imagine for a second if the first thing a Justice Czar did was review EVERY document and communication, including those between Jessie Liu and Rod Rosenstein regarding the Carter Page FISA Leak? Do you see the instant accountability that this would bring?

Then our Justice Czar could review EVERY document and communication related to Julian Assange suppressed indictment and what was the true purpose of it?

With an honest Justice Czar there is no more hiding IMO. Sunlight will reign supreme again!

We the People can not live with what we have today and we can not wait until Nov, as far too much “concrete” could be poured over much of this.

It is time Mr. President and Czars were very prevalent in the prior administration so it would be hard for the media to poo poo it.

The American people have had it with the blatant disregard for lady justice and the two tiered system of justice that DC spews down the throats of, We the People!

  30. When I listen to “progressives” who are sitting on the edge of the bed and telling us all how good it’s going to be, I just want to ask them: “What’s your ‘I-plan?'” Implementation plan.

As a computer consultant, I basically make my daily bread from the sheer abundance of technology people who don’t have one. So, I help make one for them. This makes it very easy for me to detect people who are making promises that they can’t keep, and that either do or (more likely) don’t know it. Talking about something is easy, and radical talk is even easier. But as the song says, “The Art of making Art is: putting it together.” Aye, that’s hard – or, impossible.

Let’s take a favorite topic of mine: health care. I think that we as a nation will be forced into some form of socialized medicine because I believe that our present “for profit” strategy fails providers, patients, and financial stakeholders alike. But, “socialized medicine” is merely a trope, not an I-plan. Talking about getting there won’t move you one inch towards it, and we have over 320 million people that must be served. So, is there an “I-plan” or even “I-planning” among the four campaigning US Senators who are sitting on our bed, talking? No. No. No.

It’s apparently drop-dead easy to be “woke.” What’s wrong with society? Everything. How to fix it? Change everything. How to accomplish that? Silence.

We wound up electing a couple of “one-hit wonders” to the House last term. They’re loudmouths, all right, but what have they done from their august seats, except to complain about what everyone else is doing? Zero. Nada. Zilch. And that, to me, is the fatal problem with “woke.” The word does not actually rhyme with “do.”

I am far within the mark when I say that all the armies that ever marched, and all the navies that ever were built, and all the parliaments that ever sat, all the kings that ever reigned, put together have not affected the life of man upon this earth as powerfully as has that One Solitary Life.

    • Like I said above, “health care” is a big issue for me, and I see sitting Senators, who have the power and responsibility to act today, who are instead campaigning for a position where they would … no longer have that power.

Meanwhile, their conversations utterly trivialize the entire issue, as though it would just take a hand-wave by a “President Monarch.” Doing this for 320 million people, and doing it “American Style?” Hell, we don’t even know what the questions are yet. This “I-plan” will require enormous amounts of creative thinking to achieve something so brand-new that nobody on Earth had thought of it before we did. And yet, what’s the only thing that we see from these people who actually have the capability to “do?” Nothing but pointless and irrelevant talk. “No baby.”

She might say any or all those things; but in the secret basement bunker, they’ll continue plotting; and it’s just a matter of time before the next “attempt” is revealed. When they have something they *think* has sticking-power, they WILL unleash it.

You can count on that. 🙂

All they will say is, “STOP!” This new (fake) Trump transgression is so important we must fire up all the House impeachment lawyers and investigators and impeach 45 for real this time.

Such a joke. As Bongino said this AM on F & F, there is a reason they are all formers.

As if any of us gave a DIMocRats axx what any of them has to say, about anything. They have already destroyed the DOJ, FBI and every other gubt “institution”.

We should dismantle every last one of them and start over. Get rid of all of those instititutions who have outlived their usefulness, if they ever were.

Justice hasn’t been anything close to blind in this country for quote awhile.

My response to anyone on this subject is who said this and when did they say it:

        If I had a son…
        Not a smidgeon…

And whose jackboot was put on multiple cities across our country, for years, by decree, spewing racial animosity and hatred, burning them down when they didn’t get their way, sometimes repeatedly.

Disgusting things were allowed to happen to good people all over the place. The chaos was unreal.

        Now who should be impeached?

And that is just for starters…

He leaves himself open to this kind of BS. The Stone case has lingered for a long time and everyone knows it’s crap. Rather than end it he let it linger. Now an event has been generated, using the case as a platform, and Barr looks like the bad guy. Had it been shut down because the case is BS there would have been one less platform to frame a narrative.

As Sundance said, “act or be acted upon”.

Barr is moving in geologic time, plodding along from one endless IG report to the next, followed by months to make a decision, and then… surprise surprise declination. Thanks for the kick in the teeth.

If prosecuting senators is too big, you’re too small. We know, Barr. Pick up the pace.

      NYC – good job.

I used to go into Manhattan and walk for hours just a number of years back. There are way too many vagrants on the street to do that now. I’d rather not put myself in that situation when it’s starting to feel dangerous. Now I just do what I need to do and leave. NYC needs to remember that all those tourists they get for mid-town can easily decide not to come.

Insane. Japan just reported a minus 6 percent GDP drop.
Japan’s economy shrunk at a 6.3 per cent annual rate in the fourth quarter after last autumn’s rise in consumption tax, raising fears of a deeper slowdown and putting pressure on Shinzo Abe and the Bank of Japan to mount a policy response.

I think as long as the economy in the long run doesn’t fall faster than the population, it’s OK. I wonder why a smaller population for Japan is absolutely a bad thing. Of course the devil is always in the details. Japan still has quite a high pop density and its only alternative is to import residents and thereby dilute its existing culture–i.e native population replacement like we do in America, Canada, Australia and Europe.

You nailed it for longer term economic viability IGiveUp. Median age/age structure in Japan is 47 and last I looked the median age in America is 37. So their population, that supports their social welfare system, is approximately 20% older than America’s. Keep in mind that legal immigration is difficult and illegal immigration is about 60k people per year. Long term projection for the worlds 3rd largest economy are not great.

Years ago I spent 3 weeks traveling in Japan in both rural and urban areas. Most of the time I did not appreciate the quality of life there as a Western person even though I have a deep respect for the people.

As a person living in the rural deserty Southwest, I shudder at all the new infrastructure projects projected here to accommodate our fast immigration-driven population growth. Conceptually I feel the key to maintaining and improving quality of life is to decouple population growth from economic prosperity. Lowering taxes and regulations as well as reducing energy costs can go a long way towards building prosperity without having to emulate Asia on population density.
