“U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is prepared to go to court with two “sanctuary cities,” New York City, New York, and Denver, Colorado, if they fail to provide personal information on illegal immigrants with criminal records released in each city instead of being transferred to ICE.

“We expect them to comply” with subpoenas for the information, said acting ICE Director Matt Albence at a press conference in Washington on Thursday. “If they don’t comply, we’ll be working with DOJ to go to district court to force them to comply with the requirements,” Albence said, noting the rule in the U.S. Code that he said justified the move. “The individuals that fail to comply can be held in contempt,” he said. “They can show up to court with a toothbrush because they might not be going home that night. Because they could be jailed for failure to comply with a lawful order from a judge. That’s the route we’re going”

    • “They want a pro-Trump conservative who will never capitulate to the Washington, DC, establishment, and they know that is Jeff Sessions.”

      You’re kidding me, right?

Jeff Sessions, through either incompetence or malfeasance, is responsible for the Mueller Fraud, which helped Democrats retake the House and pursue impeachment, hobbling for years the MAGA Agenda we all voted for.

I’m not even sure he’s not trying to split Republicans and re-elect Jones. Please don’t send that crooked leprechaun back to DC, Alabama.

The people of Alabama can say how good a Senator Sessions had been prior to becoming AG. But as I recall he was a very good Senator, he supported the policies President Trump has put in place, and was among the earliest supporters of PT during the 2016 campaign. Nothing has been published that suggests Sessions has changed his positions. That leads me to think if elected to the Senate he’d be a positive contributor.

      • He was a very good senator. And then he did more damage to this country than Benedict Arnold.

Were the Awan brothers prosecuted when Sessions was AG? Why not?

Did Jeff let the president know he was going to recuse before he announced it? Why not?
How many people’s lives were destroyed by this decision?

Did Jeff appoint Huber? What has Huber done?

The Alabama voters may well decide Sessions would again be a very good Senator. And if the Senate alternative is Doug Jones a lot of people might think Sessions is the better bet.

I could understand the argument that returning to the Senate could be a way for Sessions to redeem himself. I guess we should be open to forgiving his political sins.

If in fact Sessions is nominated and elected it will be very interesting to see how PT handles it.

    From Breitbart, today:

“Update: Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) on Monday joined Sens. Mitt Romney (R-UT) and Susan Collins (R-ME) in expressing interest in hearing from former White House National Security Advisor John Bolton…”

    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/01/27/romney-collins-john-bolton-book-leaks-strengthen-the-case-for-impeachment-testimony/

These are the three RINO/NeverTrumpers I mentioned yesterday as very willing to side with the Dems in demanding witnesses. The “+1” I noted as necessary to swing the vote in favor of Schumer’s motion is TBD publicly, but very likely has been already secured.

The President’s Repub enemies require additional witnesses to craft a narrative to support their votes for impeachment “for the good of the country.” More witnesses are the linchpin for a serious possibility of getting enough Repub votes for conviction. The effort is clearly in-motion, or these three charlatans would not have outed themselves to support Schumer.

Watch it unfold. The President’s removal is a serious threat.

Those who have gone to a Trump rally, how early did you go? I’m in NJ, and the arena he’s going to can only seat 7,000 people and they’ve given out 175,000 tickets w/ hundreds already there!!!! I’d love to go, but have the thought of standing in the cold for hours and not getting in. How early should I get there?

Too late, paula. The lines started forming this morning.
You can watch outside on the campaign’s giant tv screens they put up.

My seat was guaranteed – as a staffer in the Trump Campaign Office. There are perks for working for the Prez, for free, i might add, but the perks were great – no lines, no waiting.

But do please go – it’s like nothing you’ve ever experienced.

How many times can the Dems/MM hype the same “bombshell”? The MM is like a cat with laser – every time the Dems leak some crap insinuating a new “gotcha”, the media lose their minds.

From Jessie’s analysis I understand that the real meat is buried deep in the NYT story and it doesn’t even say anything. After all, gotta sell those books before people discover it was another nothingburger.

Honestly, do these people ever think about what their children will think of them? Sorry, rhetorical question only, most of them won’t even have a family.

Put it there so it wouldn’t get buried. Basically,
there’s the possibility that the MSM is being bribed
to report things the way the big boys see them.

Interested on other’s take on the subject.

  25. As a commander of a VFW post myself I say shame on the National VFW commander for making a blatant political hack at the President and Commander and Chief about the extent of the American casualties in Iran missile attack earlier this month. The National VFW commander’s demands was a damned if you do and damned if you don’t request. I cant’t imagine a VFW commander asking a President to admit to the enemy how vulnerable our troops are to an attack. That is the quickest way for further attacks. All of the American soldiers are getting top medical care and will be compensated for any long term disabilities. President owes no apologies.
