There is an old dogma that contends that whenever the 2-year and 10-year bond yield curves cross (said to be “inverted”) a recession follows. This baloney was already heavily promoted by the fake news media a few months ago, but failed to materialize. So the fakers are trying again.

We know what the definition of insanity is, don’t we? But lo-fos -which you refer to as twitter freakers- always fall for it. Those who follow this kind of thing have also noticed that the 2019 fiscal deficit is approaching 1 $trillion (as widely spread by the fake pronosticating media).

While it is true that military re-building is expensive, no one bothers to explain that some 5 million newly employed Americans are and will be paying taxes. There is also a new rich taxpayer in the block named China (I couldn’t find his /her last name) who has already contributed close to $60 billion … and counting). Kicking out illegal moochers would also help.

…there will inevitably be an amnesty for “innocent dreamers” in the final immigration bill Trump signs …if they have committed no crimes while here and came as children…if you would have it otherwise, it’s you who are anti-MAGA, not her …our goal is to make America great again, not cruel and immoral.

In your last paragraph you call Trump anti-MAGA.

This is Trump’s immigration plan which he campaigned on:

              https://web.archive.org/web/20161105192817/https://www.donaldjtrump.com/press-releases/donald-j.-trump-address-on-immigration

This plan was announced at his speech in Phoenix Aug 31, 2016
              Phoenix rally – https://youtu.be/8froy8bbzlY

In that plan there is no amnesty for “dreamers”.

              > and you appear to be a ROLCON deliberately pushing divisiveness here

I give facts. You make ad hominem remarks.

…you have a reading comprehension problem …you apparently can’t read what Trump actually said, only what you want to hear.

…nor can you read what I actually wrote, only what your mindset wants to see.

“Our enforcement priorities will include removing criminals, gang members, security threats, visa overstays, public charges – that is, those relying on public welfare or straining the safety net, along with millions of recent illegal arrivals and overstays who’ve come here under the current Administration.”

Read it carefully this time …forget what you want it to say …read what he actually said.
Non-criminal dreamers are not on his list.

“In several years, when we have accomplished all of our enforcement goals – and truly ended illegal immigration for good, including the construction of a great wall, and the establishment of our new lawful immigration system – then and only then will we be in a position to consider the appropriate disposition of those who remain. That discussion can only take place in an atmosphere in which illegal immigration is a memory of the past, allowing us to weigh the different options available based on the new circumstances at the time.”
Again, read what he actually said. “He” is not going to issue any amnesty. Nor will he allow Congress to until the border is under control. But then, and only then, he and congress will consider the appropriate disposition of those who remain. You know, like the non-criminal “dreamers” who still remain. Call it whatever you wish, but that “appropriate disposition” will almost certainly include their permanent status here. I call it amnesty, you can pretend otherwise, but it will happen either way. Which was in the plan from day one and will be there when all is done. Again, whether you like it or not.

The inconvenient problem with your mindset is that Ryan, McConnell and the uniparty RINOs refused to give him the immigration legislation and wall money we needed to complete his goals. And then, again despite your mindset, we actually lost the House to the likes of Pelosi and AOC who refused him the time of day, much less the immigration legislation or money he required. So he had to revise the plan. Sh*t happens. Which is where we are today, despite your fervent wishes to the contrary.

You started this by calling Ivanka Trump “anti-MAGA”, one of the dumbest things ever posted here imnsho. But I understand, I do. You have a reading comprehension and hearing problem. You only read and hear what you want to read and hear.

                Your problem, not mine. C’ya.

He said he would prioritize the removal of criminal illegal aliens but they all had to go:

“In a Trump administration all immigration laws will be enforced, will be enforced. As with any law enforcement activity, we will set priorities. But unlike this administration, no one will be immune or exempt from enforcement. And ICE and Border Patrol officers will be allowed to do their jobs the way their jobs are supposed to be done. Anyone who has entered the United States illegally is subject to deportation. That is what it means to have laws and to have a country. Otherwise we don’t have a country. Our enforcement priorities will include removing criminals, gang members, security threats, visa overstays, public charges.”

“Anyone who has entered the United States illegally is subject to deportation.”

“Anyone who illegally crosses the border will be detained until they are removed out of our country and back to the country from which they came.”

Nowhere in his immigration policy announced at Phoenix does he mention any accommodation of “dreamers”. That’s a fact.

                  It’s a fact.
Didn’t say a single word about deporting them in his removal priorities. Explicitly acknowledged there would be remainders that would be addressed differently at a later date. Bingo.

On many occasions since he has offered a deal on dreamers in exchange for getting his other immigration priorities from both pubbie and dem congresses. Bingo.

Amnesty is a much maligned and mis-defined word, but one which always requires a preceding criminal act for which such can be given. Valid “dreamers” could not have committed a crime by simply being carried across our borders by an adult. A child present when a parent commits a crime does not become an accessory to the crime.

So buckle-up buckaroo …valid, non-criminal dreamers will stay in an immigration deal to come. Not sure why you want otherwise. MAGA.

It’s so bad that they won’t even let you order at the counter now. They walk you over to the kiosk and help you enter your order there. The reason is that the kiosks are cheaper than paying a human $15-20 an hour to do something that can be automated. The drive throughs will be next …then the grills. It’s basic economics.

In 1914, James W. Gerard was the Democratic (Tammany Hall) candidate for U.S. Senator from New York. He defeated Anti-Tammany candidate Franklin D. Roosevelt in the Democratic primary, but lost the election to James W. Wadsworth, Jr..

Gerard was U.S. Ambassador to Imperial Germany at the time (1914-1917). He didn’t even come back to the New York to campaign. He was nominated, backed and had his campaign run by Al Smith, who at the time, hated Roosevelt because of Roosevelt’s attack on the Tammeny political machine. Smith and Gerard later backed Roosevelt’s presidential campaigns.

So here is what Gerard had to say about the political situation in Germany which made its slide into WWI inevitable:

“Lawyers and judges amount to little in Germany and we do not find there a political class of lawyers who, in republics, always seem to get the management of affairs in their own hands.”

Gerard was a lawyer and prior to Hoover appointing him Ambassador to Imperial Germany had also served as a New York Supreme Court Justice. In January 1912 Gerard made a pointed stance against the dilapidated condition of the Tweed Court House and he moved his court into the Daly mansion where was living with his wife (nee Daly, heiress to the Anaconda Cooper fortune).

“On January 20 The Times quipped that if the blindfolded Goddess of Justice were to peek out, instead of the dingy walls of the Tweed Court House, the Goddess would have seen a beautiful room of the period of Louis XVI. She would have gazed upon heavy crimson tapestries and rugs; she would have seen richly famed pictures and heavy gilt molding and the soft glow of the electrolier falling over it all.”

“Justice Gerard had brought his entire court staff, the jury, and the testifiers. They gathered around the Circassian walnut dining room table; and a Louis XVI chair served as the witness stand. Somewhat comically, Gerard’s valet, outfitted in knickers and a black-braided coat ushered lawyers, clients and witnesses in and out. The newspaper mentioned other witnesses to the cases that day: a large portrait of the Empress Marie of Russia; a 1667 portrait of Henry Rich, Earl of Holland; and one of Mlle. de la Sabiliere by Mignard.”

Tweed Court House was named for Boss Tweed of infamous Tammany Hall fame. And while it might seem ironic that a New York Supreme Court Justice would literally and figuratively move Tammany Hall to his home… what is absolutely iconic is that his home was located at 725 Fifth Avenue.

What most reports of the promotion didn’t note: Farah’s father is Joseph Farah, founder and editor of WorldNetDaily, the right-wing website notorious for its conspiracy theories — most famously the discredited notion that President Obama wasn’t born in the United States and has no valid birth certificate. More recently, WND has been pushing conspiracy theories about the death of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich.

This is so unexpected—-from Jennifer Rubin’s conservative excitement, to Stacy’s super duper top secret meetings with Joe Biden, months ago, and now the creative photo stylings of Vogue. Obama and Oprah didn’t come out to support Stacy for nothing.

      And, so it begins.

Lending precedence to this lying, agendized
smooth talking creep and her policies.

She follows the exact same patterns as
Cynthia McKinney back in the day. Arrange
for people to vote, often, frequent, and from
      the grave.

When people notice what they are up to,
      accuse them of “voter intimidation”.

In McKinney’s case, it was videotaping at
      voting poll sites. Intimidating, right?

Not to someone who voted in a primary
a year prior in a minority neighborhood.
An 85% black neighborhood where the
      voting machines had “Democrat” posted
over 8 of them. “Republican” posted over
2 of them. With a line of your black neighbors
out the door. What’s the chances in that
area that you would be seen at one of the
2 machines with Republican. In front of
God, your neighbors, and the loud mouthed,
involved women in the neighborhood? Of
which there were many. None of whom got
the joke that the Dems they were pushing
were keeping all their problems alive.

Abrams is answering all these questions
      before anyone asks them.

As in “Officer, I don’t know anything about
that liquor store that was just robbed.”

Beto is going to make his first “address to the nation” tomorrow.

I always thought that’s something a sitting president does, but apparently anyone can do it now. I suppose they are going to interrupt all the prime time tv shows to air it (since that’s how addresses to the nation work).

That’s millions of viewers. This could be a big deal for his campaign.

They are just getting started… a few complaints will shut down all advertising. Only the State can advertise.

A ban on ads featuring “harmful gender stereotypes” or those which are likely to cause “serious or widespread offence” came into force in June.

128 complaints: The first banned ad, for Philadelphia cheese, showed two fathers leaving a baby on a restaurant conveyor belt.

3 complaints: The other, VW ad, showed men being adventurous as a woman sat by a pram.

Ha! If that photo is for real, this is Hilarious-Creepy. I can kinda imagine that being right up Clinton’s alley. Like he and Epstein probably used to get together and laugh for hours drinking Very Expensive Scotch and talking about that picture.

I don’t think it was mentioned in the article, but the red shoes are supposed to be significant. After others posted some Epstein Twitter nonsense the other day, which led to some #PizzaGate Twitter nonsense, which led to … etc. etc. etc…. I was inspired to dig into Tony Podesta’s apparent fondness for Creepy Art Work. Houston, we have a problem, and his name is “Tony Podesta”. Anyhoo, a search for “podesta red shoes” will get you on your way. And if your stomach can handle it… give “biljana djurdjevic podesta” a spin on the ol’ Interwebs Search Machine of your choice. Enjoy!

Still better than the 0% loans and bad credit. 3.5% is something required at least with a little bubble protection.

We have had a ton of condos built in our traditionally blue collar family town. The only people who want to buy them are young kids with no kids, but there aren’t enough of them with good credit. This looks like a bailout for real estate developers who were dumb enough to pin their hopes on millennials wanting to invest in real estate.

They weren’t pinning their hopes on American citizens at all. All these high-density, section 8 firetraps shoehorned into residential neighborhoods were touted as “workforce” housing (aka Sanctuary cities.) However, their open borders policy has not been faring too well these days.

I never understood this wall street pulse response. Media is obsessed with it. At this point, it looks like they want to create an economic fear among the voters and influence 2020. It looks more political to me than economic. I could be wrong and I hope not. I don’t like to see another recession despite so much efforts by the president.

Crashing the stock market to fake a recession is the same game the deep state played last year. Had little or no effect on the real economy. I’ll believe it when the value of my house drooped here in Utah.

They also show the same dress worn by Hillary whom I must say looked good
